If you scan the Carrack and it has good cargo, you can board it, detach the valuable cargo from the grid, leave the ship, full kill it, and the cargo you detached from the grid will survive the explosion and be floating free in space.
also there will be stuff inside the ship after the expulsion, nudge the pieces out of the way and the loot will stay but the skeleton of the carrack will move

I've been running ERT daily as well but less luck in illicit cargos compared to your runs. I get an average of 3-5scu of eggs every 3-4 runs with mostly scraps, quarts, tungsten etc. Also, using the Hercules series for solo ERT is not advisable unless you wanna spend time transferring all loot to sell them off. Corsair and Taurus are much better options I believe. Although! When I was playing with Corsair I haven't find any Widow. After killing the target, scan the other ships BEFORE blowing them up. If you're on planet side and 1 of the ships has something worth taking, get them to follow you into space. It's a sure way of making sure they dont blow up.
You can sell the ERT ships as salvage with a Bonus of guarding any Reclaimer that jumps to you. Each one of those ships is roughly 2 mil per munch...so you can make an extra 1-2 mil. Given the fact that its 3 ships of 240 scu each (netting 720 scu) a reclaimer solo player dumping 1mil will walk away with a 3 mil profit + any carracks involve. You can just detach all the cargo and it wont be affected by the munch or better yet have them do it, and just lower the fees if eggs are found. I would highly advise against leaving targets that have crashed in atmo as i just found an 890 with a 24 scu box on the ground 2 million credits i would have missed if i didnt check it. Always do a quick scan especially on the 890 as every single one i have checked has had eggs.
Yeah, 890J almost always have good cargo. My problem is that I can't get inside if it lands flipped and for me in 80% of a time it lands flipped upside down. Great videos. I always enjoy your content. Today I had an ERT with 44 SCU of Gasping Weevil Eggs. That's the largest haul I've experienced since 3.22.a dropped. Pope_Shizzle's Carrack cargo strategy works well and is something I've been doing for quite a while now. It's also works when you get a jammed Constellation cargo lift from time to time. I've also found that 4 x AD5B and 2 x AD4B is brutal on ships like Caterpillars, making it very hard to soft death them. I've now split my guns into two groups on put 4 x AD5B on trigger 1st stage, and everything on trigger 2nd stage for when you want to go full-send on Hammerheads, 890J, Carrack and Redeemers. It doesn't apply so much with the cargo manifests being rebalanced, but I largely ignore the grid on the Corsair. I've managed to get close to double the grid size in that back of that things, especially when we were hauling more 32 SCU crates. I'd get 3 x 32 SCU crates in there, about 4 x 2 SCU crates on the stairs at the back, another couple of boxes in the space next to stairs, I've managed to get 2 SCU boxes through the doorway into the engineering section, more 1 and 2 SCU boxes on top of the 32 SCU boxes, then as many smaller boxes across the back near the ramp. All the while taking care that nothing snaps to the grid. You then go back inside your ship via the crew lift because you're not getting in any other way. I've done that so many times and never had a problem. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for your thoughts and kind words! Wow 44SCU of Eggs, that's awesome! For Constellation jammed cargo lift I like to get inside of a Constellation to the pilot seat and just press "open all doors" and then cargo lift extends and opens fully. Last time I tackled with Carrack I had hard time unsnapping the cargo from the grid and cargo boxes started to disappear from the ship so I've abandoned that technique, but maybe I will try this in case of a very good cargo inside. I always use 4xAD5B on trigger one and 2xAD4B on my second fire button for heavy targets like Carrack, 890J, Reclaimers. Yeah, Caterpillars are really vulnerable and it is easy to destroy them! Need to be really careful with trigger on them!
What gets me is why they would nerf something that is a fair amount of work to do, especially as a solo pilot. The game is so damn buggy, that if there's at least one thing that makes it fun and profitable, ffs, leave it be! It's not like they're not going to wipe it all away from you anyway. Thanks for the testing! Good work! o7
I agree on that 100%. But I am afraid that this is a tactic to make more people actually test things they want to be tested (like salvage currently since it is the most profitable gameloop in game).
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS We're all just lab rats and RL pledge money then, cause there was no use in doing that, as plenty of people like and would have done salvage anyway. I am about to grind the VHRT missions up to get to the ERT's, is it still worth it? While I playing the VHRT's the best I've found was Quantanium in smaller quantity per ship. (1-5scu)
I believe they didn't change nothing in 3.22.1...I am currently playing 3.23 in EPTU so I am not sure, but I believe that you can still find Weevil Eggs in ERT missions. Just try to play ones around Yela asteroid field.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS thank you for your answer. I will try once I made it through this VHRT’s. I was a little disappointed, cause this VHRT missions hat basically the same loot as the HRTs
tbh i don't even kill the planet side bounties. I'll ship log into a new server and wait until I get yela asteroid belt. Seems to save me a bit more time. But good video, goes right down to the point and shows a really nice corsair loadout that's more pragmatic then maining a c2 all the time. I just wish I had more luck with weevil egs. I seem to have the worst luck. 15 erts and couldn't score a single one.
Wow, that is a bad luck. Tell me are you inspecting every ship manually? sometimes your scanner will not show you all the cargo inside of the ship. Take a special look at A2, Starfarer, 890Jump and sometimes Reclaimer and C2...this is where I have most of luck finding Weevil Eggs. Even Hammerhead can hold Eggs inside sometimes. Just make sure to inspect these ships manually.
That's probably my isssue, I've been putting faith in the ship scanner. Well I will try to manually inspect each ship from now on. Seems like it would be more fnun that way anyways due to element of surprise.@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
Thank you my friend. Glad you like the video. I buy my weapons for Corsair on Orison. There is a Showroom on Orison and there you will find terminal where you can buy AD4B and AD5B gatling repeaters.
Hey I’ve just started playing, any tips about how to disable ships instead of blowing it up? Is there a way to target only a part of the ship or what? Ty
Welcome to Star Citizen and thank you for commenting. I believe there is an option to target specific place on enemy ships but I honestly never use this way of targeting. You just need to watch your target when becomes red, after that go easy on your fire button and shoot in small bursts until you soft death your target. This is how I do it all the time.
Yeah, mic volume was fine(always on same level) but the music was a bit to loud at some parts! That is my bad! Wanted to publish ASAP and I missed that. Will be more careful next time :)
Nice video, so you can still earn nice from this gameplay, nice to see that we don't have to use only salvage. Question why don't you fully load you corsair I put over 120 scu of cargo? Never had any problems with it.
Thanks my friend. I wanted to test with 10 missions per day by taking only eggs, quantanium, slam and gold. Usualy I load up Corsair way more then in this video but for that I would need more then 10 missions. Plus there is some strange box dissapearing when you load up too much so I didn't want to risk loosing Eggs.
@@infinitespace239 You will have most luck in asteroid belts around Yela. Don't waste time on planet side mission. @@The_Real_bubbazanetithe bounty missions actually get easier to do in the Corsair as you progress in bounty tiers. Higher tiers have larger ships, which don't maneuver as fast. Yes, you need to be on Crusader and start doing bounty missions for "Bounty Hunting Guild" by doing "Tracker Training Permit Certification" mission which will appear under "Bounty Hunter" tab in your contract manager and unlock VLRT missions...after that you will get the next certification mission which unlocks LRT missions...

Hi there, thank you for sharing your comment. Regarding Reclaimer, it is a bit hard when you need to transfer stuff from Reclaimer because of weird design. I have done about 30 missions but it keeps giving me only missions with small ships I don't know why. I have made licenses but it only gives me small ships maximum and there is a medium one, don't you know why?thx
Since there is several commodities that you can take here and earn money, that means that you need to decide what to take or leave, so I would say there is some sort of a strategy involved :)
I think its still too much, you should not earn as a "side quest" 100x the main quest payment. You should be able to earn Max 300-500k from an ERT with loot and that is stretching it..... I mean, if you get 5 millions in a couple hours of playtime, you get a ship that should take you a week of playtime to feel the excitement of achievement, like a connie Phoenix, a bomber like a Retaliator..... I get its alpha and all, but that ruins the goals, you still can have all you want, that is just ships for now within a few days.... then what to do? Its the same with Salvage, you can work 2 hours in a Reclaimer solo and walk away with 70% of the value of the same Reclaimer youre using.... so the ROI on a Reclaimer is 4 hours of work? Does it make sense?
Don't forget it takes a lot of boring rep grind to reach ERT but I bet everything will get way more expensive in the future in-game or in Pyro where fuel isn't sold around every corner The thing that's annoying me even when it makes sense is: Have an expensive ship and it's easy to make money but if you didn't payed 200-300 bucks for a digital item it takes a long time to get a big ship which allows making auec in a decent pace but after you grinded for rep, the big ship and now wirh the big ship the stuff you actually wanted they they might wipe it and you are back to the near useless Mustang alpha
Yeah, I agree that they need better balance for all this. For now I see additional profit from legal and illegal cargo inside of a bounty ships as a reward for hard grind up to the ERT mission. Problem is that we don't have expenses where we should spend all that money. For example if we need to pay for ship insurance or base maintenance(once base building is in the game), refuel, rearm and repair with proper prices and stuff like these, then earning 3-4 millions per hour will make sense. Because we will need all that money to spend for expenses we currently don't have. CIG is using this method to actually test specific feature(in this case it was physical cargo boxes). Anyway I get your point! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Misleading title? What is new? Well, It is that you can't earn 20-30 millions in one hour like before 3.22.0A patch. It is also new that you now need to take some legal cargo as well to maximise your profits after bounty cargo rebalance. Some of the new things is that there is no Maze anymore. Sorry but things in 3.22.0A are not the same as they where in 3.22.0 patch, so purpose of this video is to point that out for people that don't know this or for the new players that started with this game from this patch right now. In my first two days of testing I have found 0 Widow so I thought that they removed Maze and Widow. It seems only Maze is completely out and I presume they did that because of a Jumptown event. When Jumptown event is active you can sell Maze at double price!
@@MrDromp Yeah, VHRT was nerfed way more then ERT's. I hope you will have some luck finding that Weevil Eggs.
tbh i don't even kill the planet side bounties.
Great vid man 👊🏻 Gonna set up my Corsair like that, it rips it up! Where you buy guns for it? New Babb?
Got 42scu of widow yesterday but the after i return is despawns
Got 42scu of widow yesterday but then after i return its has despawns
Wow, awesome! I still didn't find more then 18 SCU in one ship!
you can have mic volume a bit higher and music volume a bit lower.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Yeah, better not to risk it. Good job and thank you. I played few missions but I have not find any eggs.
@@infinitespace239 You will have most luck in asteroid belts around Yela. Don't waste time on planet side mission. Just kill the main bounty and don't waste ammo on the rest of them since they will get destroyed on ground impact. Good stuff is usually in A2, C2, Starfarers, 890Jump and sometimes in Reclaimers and Caterpillars.
Would I still run the same guns in 3.23.1? or should i switch them to laser cannons?
I am currently grinding my way up to ert's again so I will test this and tell you my new weapon choice.
ThanX for yeat another informative and in depth vid LVOP!!!! Now i just need to work on my piloting skills to get to those bounty missions, as I suck as pilot!! 😂
There's an easy solution just get a bigger ship xD I've seen new players go full turret mode with a Connie on HRTs by just turning and shooting
Thank you :), Yeah, just try to get yourself a Corsair and you will have a lot easier grind since Corsair has really awesome firepower!
I@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS I actually got a corsair LTI, but never thought I could Use it for combat like that, as it is pretty heavy to maneuver...and again I suck as a pilot when in combat, but will give it a try. ThnaX LVOP
@@The_Real_bubbazanetithe bounty missions actually get easier to do in the Corsair as you progress in bounty tiers. Higher tiers have larger ships, which don't maneuver as fast. When fighting Connies, Hercules', other Corsairs and Hammerheads, the sluggish Corsair isn't that big of a deal and it's fire power is immensely useful to take down big ships fast 😁
Are micro tech erts worth it? Do they take missions out in space where I can softdeath the ships for easy cargo?
Never played ert's anywhere but Crusader...I believe Yela asteroid field is the best for ert's.
thanks for your videos! But, where and how do you unlock those missions? Crusader?
Yes, you need to be on Crusader and start doing bounty missions for "Bounty Hunting Guild" by doing "Tracker Training Permit Certification" mission which will appear under "Bounty Hunter" tab in your contract manager and unlock VLRT missions...after that you will get the next certification mission which unlocks LRT missions...
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Those are the Yela asteroid belt missions, right? For me they are always just the VLRT. I grindet my way to HRT but everything above VLRT is always a mission to land and kill on foot😞 is there a trick to that method?!🤔
@@Fotomoloman Yes, Yela belt asteroid missions. What you need to do is to take a licence mission after every level. For example after you do enough of VLRT missions, you will get a licence permit for next level or LRT missions. After you take that licence mission, then you will have unlocked LRT missions in space. Same for MRT, HRT, VHRT and ERT.
Mention the dangers of Brios! I was like.. Click it click it click it lolol.
Haha :D
This is a great guide, thank you! But Im struggling with the reclaimer.. how do you guys gain access to the cargo area? 😅
Hi there, thank you for sharing your comment. Regarding Reclaimer, it is a bit hard when you need to transfer stuff from Reclaimer because of weird design. You need to go below Reclaimer from the rear side and you will see a big elevator. Call the elevator and then you will need to go to a Salvage Processing, Salvage Hold or Cargo Hold where you will find your cargo.
I suggest that you look at this video here: ua-cam.com/video/eH7DughElHY/v-deo.htmlsi=a9dVNlhV-sFWpz4J and just go to around 4:36 and you will see what I am talking about!

Nice vid, ty for tips, are you from Balkan?
Thank you for commenting. I am from Croatia ;)
Can you open the cargo bay of a 890J from outside? How?
I think that you need to hover a mouse around cargo area and "call elevator" or something like that will appear(similiar like with Hammerhead). Can't remember do we have a physical button or is just a mouse hover over the elevator. Need to take a look at my original footage!
have you a video or other site about youre flight information with your dual sticks ? i got duals but its its super weird all ^^ need infos ;)
I have found some info about setting up dual joysticks for you here: ua-cam.com/video/74ybHbw3n50/v-deo.htmlsi=4i29QfmHgW5Ex-lR

Cheers! 😃
I have done about 30 missions but it keeps giving me only missions with small ships I don't know why. I have made licenses but it only gives me small ships maximum and there is a medium one, don't you know why?thx
This isn’t a strategy, this is just what you found lol
Since there is several commodities that you can take here and earn money, that means that you need to decide what to take or leave, so I would say there is some sort of a strategy involved :)
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS that’s not what a strategy is……..
Don't forget it takes a lot of boring rep grind to reach ERT but I bet everything will get way more expensive in the future in-game or in Pyro where fuel isn't sold around every corner
The thing that's annoying me even when it makes sense is: Have an expensive ship and it's easy to make money but if you didn't payed 200-300 bucks for a digital item it takes a long time to get a big ship which allows making auec in a decent pace but after you grinded for rep, the big ship and now wirh the big ship the stuff you actually wanted they they might wipe it and you are back to the near useless Mustang alpha
But when you do archieve the "big ship" what Else there is to do in the game?
@@juniorfan7a buy a big ass hangar or apartment or house once that's a thing xD but yh we need persistence damn those wipes
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS what I forgot to ask is bounties and selling cargos worth it with a smaller ship? I'm back to my Titan after the wipe
SO what is so new about this? Nothing. Why the misleading title?
Misleading title? What is new? Well, It is that you can't earn 20-30 millions in one hour like before 3.22.0A patch. It is also new that you now need to take some legal cargo as well to maximise your profits after bounty cargo rebalance. Some of the new things is that there is no Maze anymore.
Sorry but things in 3.22.0A are not the same as they where in 3.22.0 patch, so purpose of this video is to point that out for people that don't know this or for the new players that started with this game from this patch right now.
I am sorry if you already knew this and didn't find this useful but I believe there is always someone who can find this info useful. Stay safe in the Verse and may the Force or RAKIJA be with you ;)
