I'd like to add some intel. 70 million made so far ingame. Using just one ship. My pledged Taurus. She has a cargo of 176 scu plus a hidden compartment that cannot be scanned. The taurus also has a handy tractor turret well placed. But l tend to use the tractor rifle. The taurus has x4 size 4 repeaters plus 28 size 2 dominator missiles. She can easily soft death 4 ships in an ert. My tobii 5 eye tracker gives me excellent viewing in combat. Like the chap here in this video, l target mainly maze and weevil eggs 🥚. Takes me about 2 hours to soft death and loot the ships. I sell at hurston scrap yard because there are less pirates there. The taurus also has VTOL which is good for atmosphere flight. So.. I'd recommend the Taurus.
Thank you for your comments and thoughts about using a Constellation Taurus for this task! Yes, I've also tried to do a couple of missions with Taurus and I agree that it is a very good ship for this missions.
@@dragshampc1286 Yes, one of the places I also love to go because it is much safer then BBY! CRU L5 also have a "No Questions Asked" terminal as I learned recently!
Well I could say the Taurus is a good ship but that’s when the Corsair is in the picture but otherwise the Taurus is an excellent ship even though the Corsair has flimsy handling it has half the fire power of the Taurus on its wing alone and has 4 more size 5s as primary so unless you find a heck ton of weevil eggs I would say first choice Corsair second choice Taurus but even though I could be crowned the king of yapville we can’t just not think about the c2 😂
fire power: I've been running my corsair with 2 S5 cannons and 2 gimbaled S4 cannons, with S4 AD4Bs on the wings also swapped the remote turret to sawbucks as having it with lasers apparently lowers ammo capacity for the main guns. S5 cannons provide nice range and great dps gimballed size 4s to help fight smaller fighters, help with soft kills especially if you run out of ballistics, while not competing with the S5s for power. AD4bs carry 1000+ ammo each and have performed very well for me. Cargo: pre patch you could sell the big 32 boxes so i had 1 run where i crammed ~130 scu of drugs into the cargo bay. Did this with a loose 8 Scu box right in front of the stairs then a 24 or 32 scu far left, fill the center 2 cargo slots 1-3 high with whatever you can(this helps to fit 24scus on the side so they dont try to lock onto grid) then another 24-32 scu far right, then finish it off with a sideways 24 scu. Post patch if i did find 32 scus of eggs or maze, you can transfer them into a C1 to sell considering there worth ~3m each its worth it timewise. also doing hrts or vhrts with the C1 is possible and you can then carry the 32 scus. Location: I prefer bounty missions in crusader, the lack of a planet surface might increase the amount of space bounties where loading up cargo is easier and no hard deaths from hitting the ground, then grim hex and brios are both in the area. grim hex is great for repairs if your damaged and dont want to risk gettign blown up at brios. Theory: I enjoy the concept of doing bounties stealing there cargo and selling it yourself feels very thematic, as opposed to the salvaged missions which i did not do. In terms of profitability i think you should be fairly easily get ~200k worth of cargo from erts with greater profits being exponentially less likely but i do think a ship with 20m worth of cargo should show up but very rarely. one of the bigger changes i would like to see with ERTS is more escort ships like 2 seater fighters rather then running to 4 A2/M2/C2s. only should be 1-2 "Cargo" ships per ERT mostly 1 though.
Thank you so much for your thoughts here. This is an extensive explanation! Yeah, I definitely agree on ships with super high value in cargo should appear really rarely but it is important that this exists so that people have a reason to pursue the missions. We need more escort fighters for sure and less cargo ships with bounty missions. Also i hope they will fix the bug with not able to sell cargo that do not snap to the grid! I also have a C1 but yet need to see how it performs in VHRT missions(I still need to unlock ERT's). I believe Constellation Taurus should also be a very good option for VHRT! bounty missions!
I think that they nerfed cargo for the salvage missions is okay. ppl where taking the mission, get the cargo and abandon the missions, which was not really as intended, I guess. But they should leave it in bounty missions, bc it makes sense that criminals have drugs onboard and u still have to work for it, by killing the enemy.
I agree, although now when we have an SRV and ship towing in game, by abandoning salvage missions there can be a lot of shipwrecks which can be towed and sold. We just need to be able to sell towed shipwrecks on salvage yards or something like that! I surely hope they will leave high reward cargo in bounty missions since we really don't have any reward for max reputation with bounty hunting guild, so at least they can balance it a bit but we need to have a reason to fight those ERT targets!
I use 2x AD5Bs, 2 M7A laser cannons, and 2X AD4Bs. That's about 10K damage. That's about 4 times what your setup does in damage. I also use all Size 1 rockets, for the little ships, so I don't have to maneuver to chase them. I usually use a Hercules C2 with 2x AD5Bs instead. They have plenty of firepower and ammo. It's the same as 4 Size 5 laser cannons. With so much cargo space, it's really easy to deposit cargo from bounties. I just started doing this and only got 2 so far.
32 SCU crates do fit perfectly in the corsair, they just dont snap to the cargo grid, but ive had 3x32 scu crates in the back with more on top, and ive been able to sell them a brios
It may be fixed, unless it is specific to the corsair. Was able to load up a Vulture with hull scrap, filled the grid and stuffed a few along the sides not on the grid and they all sold fine.@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
I came here to see where to sell the eggs because I had the same idea to take a Corsair out and do bounty Hunting/cargo salvaging lol. Good content. Just sub'd.
I play with full fixed Ballistics AD5B's and AD4B's . Was using that when shields were leaky in the last patch so that I could go full power on the shields to deflect what I could. Now its basically easy mode and I only need to reload every 3 ERT's and by then its time to sell anyway. I'm actually sorry that we're still getting so many drugs as loot despite the nerf. It makes it so that this is the only thing that's worth doing. Nothing quite matches opening up a ship and seeing 5mil+ of drugs in it. But it makes you appreciate the smaller stuff less. They need to make eggs and Maze rare so that it's better for you to strip and salvage the ships rather than just looking for the motherlode each time.
Thank you for your comment and thoughts...I may try ballistic loadout too. Thanks for the info. And yeah, I also think that they need to reduce the amount of drugs per ship.
@@SuperCuriosities there's a bug this patch that prevents you from selling multi-scu crates that are not snapped to the grid. So yes the ship can hold up to 3x32 SCU crates , offgrid but u won't be able to sell them until that bug is fixed. It worked fine last patch. It's a simple math error. So you can still cram the cargo bay to the max and just sell the grid then rearrange all the offgrid stuff ongrid and sell again. But the max that can fit ongrid is 24SCU right now .
I've been doign this with a constellation taurus, does good enough damage, fits any containers and has a tractor turret so you dont even need to get out to load up
Yeah, I believe Constellation Taurus is a very good option for this mission too! Specially now when Taurus have best placed tractor beam for loading cargo of all ships currently in my opinion. Do you use laser or ballistic weapons?
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS I usually use lasers but when doing this kind of thing I break the AD4Bs and AD5Bs out because I can restock easily between missions.
@@JwallzMTBjust solo, the connie doesnt need a crew, after you kill something jut fly over hop into the lower turret to run the tractor beam then go on to your next bounty
I really need to try ballistic loadout...my main problem with ballistics is low ammo count...but then again, I always sell my stuff right after one or max two VHRT mission, and I can reload on Shubin mining facility every time I run bounty mission on Daymar. Thank you for your comment!
Thank you very much. Just yesterday I've found my new favorite loadout on Corsair...4 size 5 fixed lasers and 2 size 4 fixed ballistic! Here it is: www.erkul.games/loadout/Yk7FopBF I yet need to try full ballistic. I am thinking, since I play on Crusader, every time I get the mission on Daymar, I can go and reload on Shubin Mining Facility!
I use full ballistics hard mounted loadout AD5B and AD4B and transfer all the energy from weapons to shields to faster recharge them. unbeatable with it against 4 hammerheads no problem.
I don't have a problem taking bounties and loading 32 scu crates in my Taurus. The only issue is my trigger finger gets a little too heavy for soft death.
The problem with 32 scu containers is only on Corsair. On Taurus it works fine. Corsair have only 72scu of cargo space and I believe 24scu is the biggest contaner that can snap to grid. In last patch you could load 32 scu into the Corsair and sell it although it's not snapped to grid. Now it is broken but it will be fixed I believe soon.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS A buddy remarked he's having issues selling RMC's not on the grid in his Vulture. He typically gets 22-25 scu loaded but gets errors in this patch.
I think the Constellation Taurus is a much better choice for this kind of missions. Against PvE Bounties the firepower is more than enough, and you have a cargo that can fit 32SCU containers. At 3.21.1 it is only possible to sell from grid, so you can't use a corsair for this. And as a better "elevator to the roof" you have a tractor beam turret that get the cargo from everywhere, because you can position the ship as you like.
I agree with most of the things. Only problem I currently see with Taurus is that it can be buggy after time. My elevator buttons stop working from time to time, tractor beam can't power on sometimes, and I don't like the position of a cross hair(to close to one of the struts) but when they fix that(probably in next patch), yeah...great ship for these missions. I believe Constellation ships have best placed tractor beam for cargo loading currently! All in all, great option for these bounty missions for sure! I generally really like RSI ships.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Yeah, witnessed these bugs as well but if you are interested: The Elevator buttons bug can be worked around when either use a hotkey to "open all exterior" or use the inner thought in the cockpit to "open cargo bay". That works for me. The Turret power on "bug" isn't a constellation problem. I had the same issues in other ships' turrets. It is caused by a server lag. not by the ship. The off-centered cross hair is really annoying but can be played around imho. But the C1 or the Nomad have an equally good, placed tractor beam for loading, but obviously not for ERTs :D What really bothers me is that the corsair is also buggy atm and it has bugs that I can't really live with: -Wings are often desynced. (I see me wings in upper state, but mate sees my ship as bugging in the ground with the wings, so he can't enter the ship) -The crew closets are a death trap, once you use them you get stuck in them and there is almost no way of getting back out. -The doors won't open automatically anymore which is more of a pain, than running through the MSR or C2 imo.
I don't know if this has been fixed since then but I have no problem selling off grid cargo, and 32 SCU crates do fit in the corsair, they just don't lock to the grid.
Thank you for commenting. Soon I will make another video where I see a possibility to earn money with cargo in legal salvage missions. Just need to test it out to be sure but I believe this will be one more option to earn money in Star Citizen.
Towing ships using the RSV, I was earning 80-250k every 10 minutes. Without being pirated by camping players, earning a criime-stat, or needing to off load cargo. IMO for the efforts involved, Towing is the smart way to earn guaranteed millions, without the risks / bugs associated running bounties. Which, BTW VHRT bounties are (often) currently giving players crime-stats due to a bug. Making bounties much less appealing until CIG fixes it. Unless the bounties are work-as-intended (WAI)...
I am curently making a video about SRV and ship towing with full explanation on how to avoid a crimestat 😉. A fantastic way of earning money for sure. Will be published in a two or three days.
I prefer yhe cannons for more dps! And you can fit 2 of thr 32 scus in corsair they wont snap but you put them in there longways and just take them to sell they work just fine!
Thanks mate, appreciate your suggestions! Currently running my Corsair on full ballistics and it shreds! Will try your loadout too! For me it is most important that I can easily soft death targets and with ballistics this is an easy task!
Thanks, yeah, been playing with Taurus yesterday and today to check how it behaves in VHRT and ERT. Need to find perfect weapon loadout for it. Other then that I love the big cargo bay since I can take those 32scu containers!
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS nice. I have stock weapons in it just upgraded shields. Finally unlocked these bounties last night. Will put the Taurus through it's paces today. o7
Try with LEFT ALT + K. I have bound the key on my joystick for that. Once you unfold the wings additional s4 guns will appear and you will be able to use all your weapons.
Don't like the cannons to be honest, probably more effective then laser repeaters but visually I like repeaters more :). Currently I use combination of laser repeaters and ballistic repeaters...need to try full ballistic load out too.
Been using the Andromeda for this. Grim Hex is risky because you'll easily blow up for no reason trying to get into the hangar, even with your speed set to the bare minimum.
Yeah, Andromeda is a great ship! She is also rentable which is great since you can rent the ship and use it to earn money for a Corsair, or any other ship! I am currently testing a Taurus, but I find it very buggy at the moment. Cargo bay, tractor beam and main lift just stop working after some time! Other than that, great ship for this!
unfortunately thats just a hanger bug atm because of the influx of newer players cause of IAE 2023, the servers can keep up so theres invisible debris which causes u to just blow up with makes more invisible debris
i dont think they'll nerf cargo for bounties because like it says in the contract it's very high risk and extremely high risk targets which is difficult for most ppl solo and it takes a lot of time to get to that level of contracts too so it makes sense that it pays well. High risk High reward
Yeah, true...at least high reward cargo can trigger multiplayer gameplay since as you said...not everyone can handle ERT targets solo! Thanks for your thoughts and comments!
CIG Killed cargo salvage on the very day they released ship tractor beams. It was a total failure on their part. I have a Constellation Taurus, and I wanted to test out its new tractor beam doing cargo salvage, and I ended up losing money because CIG took away all the good cargo... Now I have to start doing bounties so I can even use my beam. I don't like doing solo bounties... Needless to say, I was pretty frustrated.
I agree on that with you. Only thing they needed to do is balanced it, not remove it completely. Variety is what we all want and need in this game. I know that someone will say, hey salvage missions are meant to be played with salvage ships and not with cargo ships. Well, since salvage is now way more fun with new salvage hull munching mechanic, people will play those missions more like intended, but still we should have possibility for additional gameplay with valuable cargo! I hope they will bring back valuable cargo in salvage missions but in a more balanced way. Thank you for your thoughts about this!
CRU-L4 is a bit over-used because for a while it was considered the only "safe" place to sell. You forgot to mention CRU-L5. There was a rumor (or maybe it was true for a time) that the no-questions-asked terminal at CRU-L5 was gone, but whatever the case, it's there now in a hidden-away area with a bunch of construction work around it. Because it was gone or thought to be gone for a while, people stopped using it as part of their regular vice route, so it sees almost no use. If you manage to fill them up with stock, just hang around for 15 minutes for it to reset and then sell the rest lol. Have fun. 😃
Nice Corsair build, I hse gimballed lasers because I'm a bad shot. Never bothered upgrading the coolers as yet.. Its long past time that 32 SCU containers snapping to grid was fixed, an issue shared by Corsair and Cat, it used to matter less when you could still sell but CIG naturally broke a workaround and failed to fix the underlying broken bit. Been out to do these ERTs with two Corsairs, each with one crew, still a comfortable income and all that little bit quicker. We dobt usually bother with Hammerheads, their cargo space is a bit small so unless its eggs, not worth it. Legal salvage is dead, scrap[ing far too slow and the contents of the ship barely pay for the contract fee. A pity because the old salvage loop encouraged crewing up and made for a much higher chnace of action at at salvage yard, so as a cargo ship yo8u needed to group up with muscle, who earned a cut and so forth. All that's gone. Illegal salbafe is also pretty dead.
Thank you for your thoughts here. One thing I see with legal salvage missions is that there is a lot of gold and RMC inside cargo ships...Gold and RMC both pays very well, no I just need to see is it worth doing it. I was thinking of taking like 5 contracts of legal salvage which costs 20K per contract, which is 100K of expenses, now I need to see what return I will have from cargo inside. There is no profit in millions but to be honest If I can earn between 300K - 400K I am good with it.
@LORDV4DERONP1LLS I've done maybe 5 or 6 50k legals to see what occurs. The majority cargo is scrap, which sells round ArcCorp in the L1 station but barely covers the fuel (and can be in 32 SCU boxes you can't sell from Corsair or Cat). Next most common has been processed food. Again almost worthless at the TDD. Iron, if you are round Hurston only Magda buys it. I've found just enough gold and quantanium to cover the cost of the contract most of the time. Scraping with the Vulture is too slow and boxes buggy so at present a chance process. I've yet to see RMC in a legal derelict. Illegal ones I've had security show up and star shooting almost as soon as I've arrived in two cases, one empty ship so 30k totally wasted and two ships with similar content to legal runs. Pretty much busted. Look in contract manager, I've seen 25 legal salvage missions available, nobody is interested because they don't pay. It's not worth salvaging weapons and components unless you are prepared to search out a vendor who buys them and ones big enough to be worthwhile don't fit a Vulture too well. The high and extreme risk bounty missions are not a loop open to very many players by comparison. I used to pay a standard 100k for crew for each salvaged ship plus a bonus if there was a fight. As a new player if I'd been offered 500k to mostly sit in a turret and haul boxes...and some risk of being shot of course. Not yet tried wake of disaster, notbeven seen it come up!
@@andrewfanner2245 Wake of disaster is good regarding high value cargo, but that is a pvp event most of the time, chances that you will get killed is pretty much high. But if everything goes well, it is very profitable! To be honest I would love to see they add more valuable cargo in legal salvage missions so that we can have one more option to choose between what we have now! We will see what future brings but I am optimistic that they will find a good model for all of us to be satisfied!
I believe Corsair is better option because way better firepower. You have only two size 5 weapons on C2 while Corsair have four size 5 and two size 4 guns on your disposal. C2 is way bigger ship and you may struggle with smaller and faster fighters, also it is harder to fly among asteroids with C2 then with Corsair. C2 has two size 3 shields which is a ton of protection but it make take some time until you soft death your targets. You can make enough money with Corsair and it is easier to fly with it, but hey, you can try to use C2, I believe people are using it for ERT missions. All in all, Corsair has way more firepower and can survive ERT, while C2 has more shields and three times less firepower!
I am afraid that Nomad will struggle with anything above HRT...still you can earn good money with HRT too...today I found 65scu of drugs in HRT Freelancer! Constelation Taurus is a good option too! You can buy it in game for around 3 millions if I am not mistaken! Try to earn enough money with Nomad and HRT missions to buy Taurus or Corsair in game!
Try to equip you Nomad like this and I think you will be fine with HRT. At least to earn enough to buy a Corsair or Taurus. www.erkul.games/loadout/DI3XZc78 You can also rent Constellation Andromeda in any major city. It has 96scu of cargo and 4 size 4 laser repeater guns.
You just need to shoot until you hear the first explosion...after that you need to stop shooting at the ship. You can shoot anywhere on the target ship, no need to target a specific place like engines. Just watch your target start to get red, then you need to be easy on the triger. Star to take small bursts of fire until ship explodes. If you overdue you will destroy the ship.
You have some good points... But i really think they are collecting info and testing the economy economy. To me it appears that they want a progression like this. Small Ship $50K per hour Medium Ships $100K per hour Large Ships $200K per hour Capital Ship ❓ since they are not in the game... But my guess will be $400K per hour? Those numbers are independent of profession to balance the game so that we do not all do one thing. Otherwise if we are allowed to make one or more millions per hour, ships will be so easy to buy in game that people will complain about the high price they pay Can you imagine buying a Kraken in game for lets say 40 millions uec in one week of play when someone pay $2000
Yeah, very good point there. Will see with what model will they turn out. I can't wait to see at least partial economy to start working. Thank you so much for your thoughts!
Hi there, I am playing with dual joystick setup and I am playing with fixed weapons. Try to press G on your keyboard so that your cross-hair become fixed.
Thanks for the video! I was not aware that high value bounty also carry cargo like these eggs. But one thing, what is a soft kill? Or soft death? What should i do to keep the ships alive? Thanks again! By the way, also running the corsair, i love this ship. In the moment full gimbal but lets see
Hi, thanks for commenting and glad you like the video. Soft death is a state where ship stays in one piece lets say but it is incapable of flying due to components critical damage. The moment you hear the explosion you need to stop shooting because that is a sign that ship is in soft mode. Also when ship is in soft mode you will be able to retrieve all cargo. When you blow up the ship and destroy it completely, you loose almost 70% of all cargo that was inside that ship. This is why I play on Crusader because Crusader moons(Daymar, Yela and Cellin) have very low gravity so when ships that are in soft mode start to fall towards the ground, they can survive the crash and stay in one piece almost every time! I hope this helps. So, regarding soft mode, just be careful when you see that bounty ship is red, shoot with pauses until you hear an explosion!
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS ok, thanks alot for the explanation! But still it has to explode? Because in the video you were aiming for the cockpit, so it has nothing to do with killing the npc in the cockpit? I think I have to practice it to not complete kill the other ship. Thanks again, really nice content!
@@CptCarbon Yes, you will hear the explosion sound but ship will remain in one piece...if you continue to shoot then you will hear second explosion and ship will literally blow apart. With a little practice you will manage to soft death ships with no problems.
the Corsair weapon loadout is not optimal. Your S4 repeats have a faster weapon velocity than the S5's, its easier to use with you have all the same velocities. The S5 repeaters have the same velocity as cannon but worse DPS so you are better of with all size 4 or lower with repeaters for the velocity or just go all cannons.
Awesome video, thanks a lot. I use the Corsair too, but I went fully gimbaled repeaters. Especially with the currently wonky servers (low server fps due to IAE, 9tails event, etc.) I feel the gimbaled repeaters do the job fastest on average. And yes, Tobii eyetracker for my targeting too, it's just awesome and once you used it you never want to be without it any longer! - I do have one (stupid?) question though: how do you scan the ship so nicely you get the entire cargo list on the right side in your hud. Never managed to do that so always went in to manually check!
Hi, thank you for kind words and your thoughts! Yeah, love my Tobii very much, added so much more immersion for me in Star Citizen. Regarding a scanner question, sometimes it works like a charm, but sometimes you need to scan like several times until you get the full cargo hold list on the right side, I believe this is a server side issue most of the time. When you scan a ship and scanner stop working, just press scanning again and again...sometimes you can turn off scanning mode and turn on again until you get a successful scan. Hope this helps!
It is a default UI in some of the ships. Unfortunately not all ships still have that feature. It is not something that you can turn on or off. I believe newer ships have that feature now. If I am not mistaken in older patches all ships had that in top left and right corner. Then they changed the ships UI and that feature was gone.
Yes, Constellation Taurus(172 scu) is a very good choice for this type of missions, works very well with HRT, VHRT even ERT. You can also try Freelancer Max with 120scu, just load him up with full ballistics(4xsize 3) and it will shred through HRT and VHRT missions!
I think they did need to nerf cargo hard because they need to actually begin looking at a proper and reasonable progression system where everyone doesn't have the best ships available in 2-3 days. I know people don't like grinding but unless there are Features that act as serious money sinks then there is no way you can keep people playing when there's literally no reason to do anything. But if say: Maintaining a home/base is big cash then these kind of big-cash missions can stick around.
I agree on this completely! I also think that one C2 with 15 million worth of drugs is not a good thing! They can make that kind of things super rare, but I believe that for 15 mils we need to do at least 10-15 missions and grind that money at a little slower pace! Thank you for your thoughts here!
They nerfed 30k personal missions hard. I tried like 5-6 in a row and no drugs at all. Other people also saying the same thing. Maybe drugs still appear but it seems extremely rare. Currently working on a new video, as soon as I finish it, will try to take 10 contracts in a row and see if the drugs still appear.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Thank you for the quick reply. That is really sad to hear. Was about to go in that direction :(. So are the ships just completely empty or what? I mean you have to at least get your 30k back. Scraping the Shiphull in 30mins is impossible...
@@YoDaPro Ships are not empty but the have low value cargo like scrap, iron and stuff like that so it is hard to return that 30k and make additional profit. Will see after I make further tests. You can try legal 20k salvage mission since you can find Gold, Quantanium and RMC which pays very well. Just pick the ships like C2, Starrunner, Corsair, they mostly have good cargo inside.
Yeah, will try that too...I hear it is a good money. I plan to shut off a comm array first so that I don't need to bother with crime stat and not loosing money on paying that same crime stat! Thanks for advice :)
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS You can sell cargo that isn't snapped if the ship is stored. So, take the 32 SCU crates to CRU L4 and CRU L5, store the ship, and then sell at the no questions asked terminals.
Just give this a thought what ever ship has a lot of pilot controlled guns that have to be s3 and am not talking about the Corsair can only have 2 gimbaled S3s once you have that even the Connies because if you put on the gimbals then you can put on S3s then you travel to lurville and if you don’t see where this is going congrats you are sane you then buy as many S3 laser scatter guns as can fit your ship the more the better and boom you have the perfect soft death ship 😂
Coming from a pilot who is doing both ERT and VHRT missions and has both fully upgraded C2 and Corsair. The Corsair boasts an insane amount of firepower, no doubt. BUT i still prefer the C2/A2 simply because it can hold those big S3-containers. I use a full Kinetic-loadout on all those ships, they shred trough ships like butter and with S5-guns (AD-5B Ballistic Repeaters) you have 2'600 rounds each which is more than enough to complete an ERT with ammo left to spare. Yesterday, i sold a full C2 with Maze and Weevil Eggs. (Around 300scu. of each) Made 55mil. Within less than one hour. I admit, I got extremly lucky, but if you want to go for the big bucks, A2 or C2 is the way to go imo.
I am now the proud owner of an 890J, who has no clue what to do with, so I've been spending thw last few hours offering 5* transport to NB so they can visit the IAE Expo.😂
I was going to ask if I could try this with my C2. Bigger cargo capacity means better use of my time. What's your loadout? I'm fairly new to combat in SC, so I imagine something gimballed would be in order?
hmm I do not agree with weapon loadout, vhrt and ert is a lot better with cannons, best is 4 size 5 laser cannon and 2 size 4 adb4 or repeaters for soft death, and of course you can put 32 containers in, but not on the grid, you can put 3 32scu and 1 24scu and a lot more in the back and on top but its tedious work^^
I agree with you, currently I am using four size 5 AD5B gatlings and two size 4 Deadbolts...also full ballistic gatlings(AD5B and AD4B) are crazy good for ERT's!
Yeah ad5b works great too, but the infinite ammo and power of size 5 cannons is a bit superior in my opinion! nice video otherwise sorry didnt mention that@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
Can a 600i be trusted for this sort of work? finally have a computer i can use for this. I don’t have this ship yet but it does look good with the Best in show color.
I believe it can, it has decent firepower and I have included one of the possible loadouts for 600i. For starter, upgrade the shields and quantum drive. 40scu of storage space is enough for making a decent profit. When you reach HRT mission, scan those ships too since they can carry drugs as well. I see a potential problem with smaller and faster light fighters but It will be manageable since 600i is even more manoeuvrable then Corsair at least at pitch and yaw. Be careful around asteroids since 600i is a lot bigger then Corsair. 600i Loadout: www.erkul.games/loadout/t9cqYRWP You can also try a full laser repeaters setup since with full ballistics you will need to reload once in a while at Shubin mining facility on Daymar. Hope this helps and please, if you can, let me know how 600i performs! Thanks!
@@jwsykes7628 Good choice, you will be happy with Corsair. Here is my current Corsair build: www.erkul.games/loadout/cdJrAXMS I yet need to try full ballistic setup but I think I will stick with this one for now!
Haha...yeah, well I believe they just need to balance some things with cargo from salvage missions! It was wrong to have so much drugs in salvage missions, but still it is not good to completely remove them from salvage gameplay. The more options we have in specific game loops, more choices and decisions we need to make which makes things more interresting!
You are in fact able to sell the large containers that don't fit on the grid, not sure why you said you can't. I sell 3 at a time in my Corsair. They also didn't completely remove good cargo from the illegal salvage missions, they just made it much more rare as before this last patch, you were almost guaranteed to make 1m minimum per mission because every single ship was full of drugs. Something I don't think you realize is with the amount of money we are making, even with what you suggest where it's a 60% chance to make up to a million per mission? You're talking being able to farm our an 890 Jump in a couple days. People aren't supposed to all have 890s because they sold drugs for a couple days...
Hi there, thanks for commenting. Yeah, I said that I can't because I was unable to sell while I was at Brio Breaker's Yard, but I believe this is just a temporary bug related to Corsair as I see by the comments from others. I know that in 3.20 selling off grid cargo was working fine. I believe in 3.22 this will work again. Regarding current money making in Star Citizen I believe in this test phase we should be able to earn money faster and buy every ship in game to test them out. Later on, when economy actually star working properly then they need to do a serious balancing and of course make the money earning a bit harder then it is currently. Plus once the base building becomes a thing, we will spend a lot of money on that too, so earning a million in one hour can actually become a reality with all the things they want to have in Star Citizen. If you watch closely I was saying that I would love to have like 60% chance to find from 200k up to 1 million. That means that you can find like 6 times in a row less then 300.000 per mission. I just think that in current state of the game we should have that option to test all ships and don't need to grind like 2 months for a Reclaimer. Big money needs to be rare in this game, but it needs to exist because that is what drive us to continue to play. Again, thank you for your thoughts, I appreciate your opinion and always love to hear how other people thinks about Star Citizen.
and you are correct, there is a mention in changelog that it it is not possible to sell offgrid cargo.... so if it is working for someone, it is bug :) @@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
I believe they didn't nerf it yet. Try to server hop, I run a few missions yesterday and everything was fine. Also try VHRT missions! RMC is not a bad option too if you have enough. Full Corsair of RMC is about 500k which is not bad at all. I would love to have more RMC, Gold and Quantanium in legal salvage missions for example.
@@davidreinhart4780 Yeah, my video is actually based on VHRT missions since I didn't unlock ERT while I was recording this video. Even HRT can have decent cargo from time to time, so try them too.
You don't need to buy anything for real money except starter pack to be able to play Star Citizen. Drake Corsair is available to buy for in game money, so you got it wrong here!
This video is literally about using that ship though. How long will it take to get this specific ship with in-game money using the starter ships?@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
I am trying to tell youtube to stop showing beta/alpha games. There are to many LIVE games to play. This is never going to go live any time soon. Stop showing me this game youtube.
After years of ripping on star citizen, I've finally taken the plunge & gonna be real with you & say there's more to do in star citizen than most finished triple A games. Feel's a little empty due to scale & there's lots of bugs to squash, but whats there is beautiful & if your into pvp, then theres already enough to keep you occupied.
The wipes are very rare and I don't have problems with wipes to be honest! I know this is still an alpha and grinding money isn't that hard. In game money can actually help you to try ships so that you don't need to spend real money if you don't want.
Wipes are a good, healthy thing. For every game. Not only does it clean up the servers, but it brings in fresh players, and renews the desire to grind and play for a lot of people. If you play a game like this and a server wipe once or twice a year discourages you, then you are placing too much value in-game currency and youre missing the journy that leads to that money. Wipes are great, you should encourage and embrace them.
@@lostcause4516 I personally agree with every word you've said/written. Never had problems with wipes. I will just start over probably in a way different way then the last time. Plus, usually after a server wipe there is some new way to earn money which I am always glad to take and test.
I know that Corsair is a bit harder to get if you just starting out. But, you can rent Constellation Andromeda or Taurus. Still, you will need to grind through bounty hunting guild reputation until you unlock HRT where drugs in ships start to appear.

Also as a footnote. You can also sell loot at Cru L4
CF laser repeaters will have a buff of 20% in 3.24. So you could consider come back to this setup.
fire power:
I've been running my corsair with 2 S5 cannons and 2 gimbaled S4 cannons, with S4 AD4Bs on the wings also swapped the remote turret to sawbucks as having it with lasers apparently lowers ammo capacity for the main guns.
S5 cannons provide nice range and great dps
gimballed size 4s to help fight smaller fighters, help with soft kills especially if you run out of ballistics, while not competing with the S5s for power.
AD4bs carry 1000+ ammo each and have performed very well for me.
Cargo:
pre patch you could sell the big 32 boxes so i had 1 run where i crammed ~130 scu of drugs into the cargo bay.
Location:
I prefer bounty missions in crusader, the lack of a planet surface might increase the amount of space bounties where loading up cargo is easier and no hard deaths from hitting the ground, then grim hex and brios are both in the area. grim hex is great for repairs if your damaged and dont want to risk gettign blown up at brios.
Theory:
I enjoy the concept of doing bounties stealing there cargo and selling it yourself feels very thematic, as opposed to the salvaged missions which i did not do.
I was able to sell 3 32 SCU boxes with my Corsair yesterday
@@drdommlWOW! Thanks for that info! Will try asap...maybe there was a hotfix or something!
I surely hope they will leave high reward cargo in bounty missions since we really don't have any reward for max reputation with bounty hunting guild, so at least they can balance it a bit but we need to have a reason to fight those ERT targets!
the cargo should not have millions tho, 1 mission should be max 300-500k credits in cargo
Currently running full ballistic repeaters on Corsair...it shreds!! Thanks for your advice! Will try your setup too!
32 SCU crates do fit perfectly in the corsair, they just dont snap to the cargo grid, but ive had 3x32 scu crates in the back with more on top, and ive been able to sell them a brios
I believe that currently there is a bug which prevents to sell any cargo that is not snapped to the grid, hope they fix this soon!

Thank you very much for your comment and sub, really glad my video helped you. Stay safe in the Verse!
So you cannot take 32 scu maze, right? Up to 24 scu
Thank you for your comment and thoughts...I may try ballistic loadout too. Thanks for the info. And yeah, I also think that they need to reduce the amount of drugs per ship.
@@SuperCuriositiesyep, 24scu is max cargo container size the you can take with Corsair.
I use full ballistics hard mounted loadout AD5B and AD4B and transfer all the energy from weapons to shields to faster recharge them. unbeatable with it against 4 hammerheads no problem.
Yeah, lately I use the same loadout as you!
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Yeah, witnessed these bugs as well but if you are interested:
The Elevator buttons bug can be worked around when either use a hotkey to "open all exterior" or use the inner thought in the cockpit to "open cargo bay". That works for me.
The Turret power on "bug" isn't a constellation problem. I had the same issues in other ships' turrets. It is caused by a server lag. not by the ship.
The off-centered cross hair is really annoying but can be played around imho.
But the C1 or the Nomad have an equally good, placed tractor beam for loading, but obviously not for ERTs :D
What really bothers me is that the corsair is also buggy atm and it has bugs that I can't really live with:
-Wings are often desynced. (I see me wings in upper state, but mate sees my ship as bugging in the ground with the wings, so he can't enter the ship)
-The crew closets are a death trap, once you use them you get stuck in them and there is almost no way of getting back out.
-The doors won't open automatically anymore which is more of a pain, than running through the MSR or C2 imo.
@@ChrystalChris_92 Yeah, I believe major problems with these bugs are actually on server side. Hope this will resolve once Free Fly event is over.
I don't know if this has been fixed since then but I have no problem selling off grid cargo, and 32 SCU crates do fit in the corsair, they just don't lock to the grid.

Thank you for your thoughts about this!
did they nerf selling undocked cargo? i used to be able to sell 32scu conttainers before ...
Currently there is a bug that prevents selling undocked cargo, I believe they will fix it soon.
Have fun. 😃

@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS No problem. I only found it yesterday myself when wandering around because I went to the station for a QT drive lol.

We will see what future brings but I am optimistic that they will find a good model for all of us to be satisfied!
is it better to go with corsair or c2 hercules for BH and looting? which have can survive better and morefirepower?

Thanks!@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS
You have some good points...
But i really think they are collecting info and testing the economy economy.
To me it appears that they want a progression like this.
Small Ship $50K per hour
Medium Ships $100K per hour
Large Ships $200K per hour
Capital Ship ❓ since they are not in the game... But my guess will be $400K per hour?
Those numbers are independent of profession to balance the game so that we do not all do one thing.
Otherwise if we are allowed to make one or more millions per hour, ships will be so easy to buy in game that people will complain about the high price they pay
Can you imagine buying a Kraken in game for lets say 40 millions uec in one week of play when someone pay $2000
Yeah, very good point there. Will see with what model will they turn out. I can't wait to see at least partial economy to start working. Thank you so much for your thoughts!
Great guide! 🙌
Thank you so much! Stay safe in the Verse and have a nice day!
Hello how do you lock your crosshair like that ? I have to drag my mouse. I like how you aim i locked.
Thank you for advice, I will surely test this!! Thanks!
does this work with LRT and above? or must it be VHRT and above
This works for HRT, VHRT and ERT...everything below that have only legit cargo that's not worth much.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS i see... Thanks :)
Hope this helps!
how do you get that ship hull / shields in the top left corner ?
It is a default UI in some of the ships. Unfortunately not all ships still have that feature. It is not something that you can turn on or off. I believe newer ships have that feature now. If I am not mistaken in older patches all ships had that in top left and right corner. Then they changed the ships UI and that feature was gone.
are there any ships with more cargo space that still are good for those missions?
Yes, Constellation Taurus(172 scu) is a very good choice for this type of missions, works very well with HRT, VHRT even ERT. You can also try Freelancer Max with 120scu, just load him up with full ballistics(4xsize 3) and it will shred through HRT and VHRT missions!
sadly money making strats like these are the go to cause doing normal cargo runs has too much sunk cost just to explode in a hangar for no reason
Is it possible to buy a Corsair with in-game cash or no? That's what I want to know
Yes, you can buy Corsair in Lorville New Deal on Hurston for around 3,4 million!
Yes you can, new deal on Lorville
8:28 so the 30k Personal Salvage Missions aren't valuable anymore? Heard different.
Or just get SRV, get Hammerhead Salvage mission and drag Hammerhead out of trespassing zone and get full mission reward :)
Yeah, will try that too...I hear it is a good money. I plan to shut off a comm array first so that I don't need to bother with crime stat and not loosing money on paying that same crime stat! Thanks for advice :)
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Aye aye sir! Good luck with trying it out haha!
You need to hop servers as the mission dires up after 2-3 hammerhead
you can fit three 32scu cargo containers in the corsair just so you know
Thanks, yeah, currently they cannot be sold since they do not snap to grid, but they will probably fixed that soon.
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS You can sell cargo that isn't snapped if the ship is stored. So, take the 32 SCU crates to CRU L4 and CRU L5, store the ship, and then sell at the no questions asked terminals.
@@Pope_Shizzle Wow, thanks for this info man! Got to try this ASAP!
e @LORDV4DERONP1LLS I sell 32 scu boxs ar delvin scrap and brios all the time
Is it a bug that corsair cant lock 32scu crates to grid? thats annoying
Yep, It is already reported in issue council and I believe this will be fixed soon.
I am gonna try this :)
(Around 300scu. of each)
Made 55mil.
Yeah maybe I can try this too since I have a C2! Thanks man!
@@spiritofsound8469 Well that is one of the good was to utilize your 890J :D
I was going to ask if I could try this with my C2. Bigger cargo capacity means better use of my time. What's your loadout? I'm fairly new to combat in SC, so I imagine something gimballed would be in order?
did you do it all in your c2 solo?
hmm I do not agree with weapon loadout, vhrt and ert is a lot better with cannons, best is 4 size 5 laser cannon and 2 size 4 adb4 or repeaters for soft death, and of course you can put 32 containers in, but not on the grid, you can put 3 32scu and 1 24scu and a lot more in the back and on top but its tedious work^^
I agree with you, currently I am using four size 5 AD5B gatlings and two size 4 Deadbolts...also full ballistic gatlings(AD5B and AD4B) are crazy good for ERT's!
600i Loadout: www.erkul.games/loadout/t9cqYRWP
You can also try a full laser repeaters setup since with full ballistics you will need to reload once in a while at Shubin mining facility on Daymar. Hope this helps and please, if you can, let me know how 600i performs! Thanks!
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS fantastic. I did break down and upgrade one of my ships to the Corsair anyway. Still want to try both
@@jwsykes7628 Good choice, you will be happy with Corsair. Here is my current Corsair build: www.erkul.games/loadout/cdJrAXMS
I yet need to try full ballistic setup but I think I will stick with this one for now!
That’s interesting you couldn’t sell it because it didn’t snap to the grid. I was able to sell my neon that didn’t snap to the grid
Yeah, they fixed that bug with a hotfix probably, now it is working fine.
Nice vid. Ty
Thank you, glad you like it.
30K missions nerfed! Can't have that! Chris needs to sell his pledge ships in the store, how dare we players become millionaires in game so fast!
I do this in the connie taurus
I need to try that too...do you use laser or ballistic weapons?
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS lasers
Again, thank you for your thoughts, I appreciate your opinion and always love to hear how other people thinks about Star Citizen.
and you are correct, there is a mention in changelog that it it is not possible to sell offgrid cargo.... so if it is working for someone, it is bug :)

did they nerf this ive been running erts 7 missions in a row no cargo or recycled material only :((
I believe they didn't nerf it yet.

Why waste your time making in-game money when all of it gets needlessly wiped as part of their scheme to get players to spend real money on ships...
The wipes are very rare and I don't have problems with wipes to be honest! I know this is still an alpha and grinding money isn't that hard. In game money can actually help you to try ships so that you don't need to spend real money if you don't want.
You’re 🧠 💀. Holy shit
Doesn't tarkov wipe every couple months?
"Oh this might be useful given i just started playing!" *sees the requirements* "Nm ill just do the drug trade routes"
