Linh, my sister had this great idea years ago that you might like. She replicated as best she could photos of her when she was in her teens and photographing her daughter in the same place, lighting, pose, clothes, at least as best she could given some places weren't there anymore or clothes didn't match. Many years later, when her daughter had her own daughter, she reproduced images of her and her daughter with her daughter and granddaughter. I hope it becomes a family tradition.
I watch because of you, not because of where you are. Wherever you choose to go, I'll be watching as long as you keep sharing. 🙂
You guys packed a lot of action into 16 minutes, thanks.
We try to! I feel sometimes we forget to relax. Don't let our smiles fool you, cruising is a lot of work. 😊
@@OnboardLifestyle I know, we went cruising in the late 80; and early 90s. Before chart plotters and GPS. Replacement parts, if they were not onboard. Make it or do without. What a great time. I enjoy your content, keep up the good work.
Nice video
Thank yoy
To us land-dwellers the sailing life seems like an easy life but I see that it's actually a busy life: to travel, you have to do a bunch of stuff, to come to a stop, you have to do a bunch of stuff, to sit parked for a few days, you have to do a bunch of stuff...stuff, stuff, stuff...seems like there's always stuff you absolutely have to do every day. Not the life for lazy people.
Not much different from being a land-lubber, just different stuff.🙂🙂
The difference is that I can nothing (being retired) for a few months and all I have to do during that time is feed the dogs, cats, myself and water the plants. If there's a hurricane I just stay indoors and don't have to worry about dragging anchor. It's quite a bit different.@@glencrandall8334
When you live on the boat always fixing or doing stuff 😅
Back in 2004 took a trip down to Barra and further down to Manzanillio. I remember hanging out at the end of the spit at 10:01 one evening. Looking forward to your continued journey southward.
My favorite sailing family
Adventures are your home. Live each one large. It is joyous to travel in your wake. God Bless 🐻🙏🇺🇸
Great video content. We love all the different episodes. you have an envious life style. Long may it continue.
Thanks so much!
First lady is making food, cleaning up and being sexy in the same time, what a lucky captain!!!
I never wanted to visit Mexico before but you guys make it look interesting. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂
Its not lol
@@keithhall9298 Would you care to elaborate?
Good video
Glad you enjoyed

It may be time to get Emma her own dinghy. Some old used Avon that she has to keep patching and refilling, with an outboard that she can learn small engine repair on. She can learn how to haul it up on deck and store it on the tramp. Or even better she can learn to haul it up, deflate it and stow it. Then when she wants to use it she can break it out and pump it up.
Nothing like a little excitement in the anchorage. Been there, done that more than once both as rescue team and rescue boat. Thankfully, no harm in either case.

Thanks Peter! Much appreciated!
safe travels
Thanks!
No golf tomorrow.... staying up late for the last time before school starts Monday and then it's back to work.
Take the elbow slow. Rehab a lot but don’t strain until it’s fully ready. Re-injuring can delay recovery much much longer. Your crew will be much better due to this task sharing.

You've instilled very good ethics to Emma.
We hope so. Sometimes we feel she is giving us good ethics. Nothing gets by this one.
I made my comment before she startex to cook she really loves cooking
Up in Monterey California I worked on the Whale Watching boats up here. We mixed Cayenne Pepper in with the bottom paint. We heard to use it from a commercial fisherman. 2 years later, pulled the boat, the bottom of the boat was barnacle AND muscle free. Little algae. Maybe try that on your next dry dock. It works GREAT.
Does it sluff off and does it have an environmental impact? I guess if you are making your money seeing the environment you made sure it was safe.
Bottom paint works well in cooler waters. We had bottom paint on basik that lasted 8 years up in Seattle. Once the Sea temperatures reach 80 degrees (27 C) its a different story. We have seen every conceivable paint combination with not one standing out. If bottom paint works then you most likely should not be swimming in the water next to it.
Isn't this like the third time you've visited the French Baker? 😎

Emma that was no random Drone attack. Skynet is real.
I hope no one is attacked by evil machines in this episode.
"Don't get better "
👍
The l better the girls are at scrubbing the hull, the longer it will take his arm to heal “all the way” lol 👍
👍👍
5:52 hope you guys are plugging your ears for hull scraping...what's the remedy for ear critters again? vinegar and peroxide...?
At the time, Teal was the only one with a hoodie so Emma and I were taking turns wearing that when we are underwater scrapping the hull. Now we all have hoodies. Emma and Teal also wear earplugs. I (Linh) can't seem to get them to fit in my ears. lol
😎
👍
Quick episode sad to say. It goes so fast. 😢
Maybe you should have paid a bottom scrubber to do the job, happy wife happy life.
Hard to find bottom scrubbers at anchor. Much easier to hire when in a marina. The rates in Mexico are roughly $1usd per foot for monohulls and one and a half to two times that rate for catamarans.
Looks like your Jib and main halyard need to be tightened.
It is Not going to be to much longer and Emma is going to be the tallest person on Bask...lol
Well, that episode went by way too fast. 😪 It was an interesting snapshot into your lives.
I said the same. Way to fast.
If you get hit on the head by your own drome perhaps you need to have serious words with the pilot. 🙂
The moon landings were not fake. Oh wait, wrong channel.
😂😂😂
To Short!
Nice day on the water....What??? No fancy recipes today .... one of the highlights of this channel .....I am left......unsatisfied...😢..😅.....
My wife identifies this channel as the sailing chief ..... with the overly perfectionist husband and the awesome daughter ..😊.....
Enjoy your day
Fairwinds from the @captains.chair
I will be sure to double up on the cooking next time! Lol, she is right on the overly perfectionist hubby and awesome daughter! Have a great start to your weekend! Cheers!
I think by next week's video lyn is going to develop a mysterious injury that flares up right before it is time to clean the bottom of the boat and it will be Emma alone down there but fret nor she will make a Miraculous recovery when it is time to cook some outlandish spread of food so Emma will still be able put it away though I still wonder even after years of watching where?
Linh
I'm surprised that some mfg. hasn't come up with a boat hull scrubbing drone for the cruisers yet .
Enter the dimensions of your boat- the drone does a 1st pass to get a 3D picture of things.
2nd pass it gets to work. An hour later- presto chango, ur good to go.
It would make the Onboard Lifestyle so much easier for the crew just say'n.
Linh can be the spokesperson for the mfg ad. However, knowing how drones like to attack Emma... maybe not.
French baker, pool, friends... the excitement factor is off the charts. Only 10 pounds put aside Linh?
I don't think so. U could just look at French pastry and gain 10 pounds. Delicious calorie intake matters.
Compass has a panic attack every time Emma leaves the boat.
Thanks for the update Basik. My Friday is so much better now.
They make window cleaning robots and pool cleaning robots it should be an easy addition!
Many just use a broom with stiff bristles to scrub the waterline from deck, might be a bit harder on a cat to do under the bridgedeck but even if you did the rest and then only had to get in the water for under the bridgedeck. maybe the broom method damages the hull paint?

milk the elbow. They need to learn and be able to do everything also. You will have a better crew by the time your elbow is healed 100%.
Lol, we already know how to do everything. We just like a little help. It's been a few months of pulling double duty! I'm tired!
Teal I fear is becoming a dairy farmer
lately......he is really milking that elbow injury for all that it is worth.
Yeah, he certainly wouldn't want to listen to what doctors told him to do to recover properly without re-injury.
I don't know about the other viewers, but personally, I'm tired of Mexico.
We love Mexico, but you are right, it is time to leave. We are currently heading south and will be visiting Southern Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama over the next few months.
@OnboardLifestyle Personally, I would love to see you go through the Panama Canal and then to the Med. I adore Portugal.
@@satguy That might be in the cards for us! I (Linh) would love to sail to Portugal.
Subscribe since beginning. Linh is sailing junkie. Too much fix up. Baja coastal sailing losing interest
No worries, basik is currently 1,200 nautical miles south from the bottom of the Sea of Cortez...our backdrop is definitely changing.
Ya’ll should consider full-face diving masks.
❤ ✌️
🙏
Milking that shoulder injury, dude man up already
I've seen that! Maybe I'll do that.
Yeah, what do doctors know, telling him to take care not to tear it again. 🙄 By the way, it's his elbow. Also, the first sentence is sarcasm.
