Julia Fischer and Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (Bavarian Radio Symphony Chamber Orchestra)
She is so strong! Owns every note. I like how she is constantly giving cues to her counterpart with her eyes.
aye!
о
Of course she is! How can a person play this and not be hot?
Think with a brain for your a change. Your comments only demean you.
She’s better than Perlman. Incredible.
This is one of the finest Winter performances I've ever heard.
totally agreed !!! especially than any other performers (maybe only for me^^)
"Damn, it's really cold and I'm shivering my ass off. Hey wait a minute!"
Every time i listen to this performance i get goosebumps...even just thinking about it...i would love to see that in person
Def. ^^ I think so too
imo it's the second best one. It's great but i like this one from Itzhak Perlman even more :3
Sadly it seems he only played winter that day.
ua-cam.com/video/hXq-imi271w/v-deo.html
What a performance. I would not have been able to sit still after the first movement like the crowd did. That was spectacular!

@
***** lmfao tru
I would have been headbanging my ass off!
how insulting! i cant even turn in this hole you call coffins!
Grumbel Bumbel 😂
Vivaldi with the 4 seasons: the impressionist before impressionism, the metal band before metal.
I can only pretend to imagine what Vivaldi was thinking when he composed this.
... Of winter?
It's night time in the forest. Snow is blowing through the pine boughs. Sometimes gusts. Sometimes heavy. Always falling.
Another conection...
@@LittleBlacksheep1995 Obviously, I guess Alex is thinking about how did Vivaldi put winter in sound language with the tools he had at the moment.
@@j.d.r.5491 I mean, it's one of the less common cases where a lot of the sounds are tied directly to physical phenomena, and in a concrete way with its accompanying text. As far as classical music goes it'd have to be among the less abstract. Although, I do kinda prefer to think of that big violin solo intro as something more raw and elemental than 'teeth chattering'/'shivering'. In any case it must be combined with abstract/impressionistic at least. And the 'wind' is combined into the same expression. Not overly cut-and-dried.
I love the fact that is not a single cough in the room.
💫👽💫
This is literally one of the best version I have ever heard
That's how Vivaldi imagined it to be played. That's what this woman-who has landed from Heaven cause she does not seem to be human- has done. He's completely resurrected.
To quote Westworld,
"Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin never died. They simply became their music." I would add Vivaldi to that list and this amazing woman is living evidence that Vivaldi lives..
Reea Fu ...
Reea Fu I agree but when people say “that’s how he wanted it” you don’t really know tho?
@Crawled Out Of Plato's Cave She's half Slovakian though lol
Whoah her skill is incredible! That performance was amazing and breathtaking Whoah. 👏🏻
+sakuralily7 She also plays the piano pretty well which is amazing to me.
My music teacher show this video to me in 2nd grade. Ever since then I was obsessed with this piece in particular. He used to let me sneak out of lunch so that I could hear him play for me. I had panic attacks all throughout Elementary school, and only thing that helped was him playing that song. I play it every time that I'm sad 😊.
Interesting! Well, the connection between music and wellbeing is indisputable!
Comfort and reality and wonderfulness of Four Seasons of Vivaldi is immeasurable profound and off the charts
This is by far my favorite interpretation of Vivaldi's Winter.
Probably one of the best solos of this piece
I remember this back in 1725, man this hit hard in the club
Bravissima Julia Fischer
absolutelly brilliant soloist, wow
She's easy on the eyes and fierce on the ears!
My favourite of the four seasons.
best performance ever!
adventure time is the bomb

Brings tears to my eyes
Mari Samuelson is way better.
Vivaldi is the master of classical music ! Wonderful music
then who are you??
vivaldi is baroque
may you dont know Bach, Bethobeen or schostakowitsch?
*cough cough* baroque *cough cough*
Yeah, Vivaldi made Baroque music
I love this piece, and she plays it with an indescribable passion ... Congratulations Julia plays beautiful .. !!
I can not find the best words ...Julia it is a wonderful player ....wonderful..powerful emotional....
I feel you.
She played it soooo well. So passionate and intense
Paganini caprice #2 was very well chosen. It is one of his most beautiful caprices and it complements "Winter" very nicely.
How do you just sit there and watch it like that. I know there is an etiquette but they'd have to throw me out cause i would be goin nuts hearin that. Bravo.
That's what I was thinking "Clap or something, You Bastards!!" XD
it is an orchestra, imagine if everyone in the room would go nuts, the performance would not be the same
@@MTudor-dn1ke r/wooosh
@@MTudor-dn1ke You don't have any idea how people back then watched classical music when it was still in vogue. Go read some books instead of spouting idiocy and bullshit on the Internet.
i_ Flawless Chris well, I see you’re new to reddit mate
It doesn't get much better than this. How could it?
Steve Cakouros you're right.
this is the perfection
Rev. Stephen A. Cakouros You know how it could be better? If we were there in person...
She is so beautiful, and her voice of the violin is more fantastic.
I need 2 like buttons for this video
Same!
Or a love one
just press the like button twice
I need 3
Dmitry KAA only 2?
Já 09 anos atrás eu tive um novo olhar para a música clássica, e foi a partir desse vídeo.
Então sempre que posso retorno e prestigio essa bela performance.
She is one of the best active players.I love her phrasing and tone colour.
Wow! She is top drawer. And the palace of the nymphs sounds like a fun place to hang out!
the best performance of winter
I agree with you! It’s probably the best interpretation of Winter that I have ever seen.
Listening to this in the heart of a frigid winter and I find it incredible that vivaldi was able to capture meteorological phenomena and somehow turn it into music.
완벽한 음악 입니다
줄리아 피셔 최고 수준의 음악입니다
Sublime.
tout est sublime.
Beautiful playing. A joy to watch and listen to.
This is the best classic song I've ever heard
@Emmanuel Mendoza no u
You should listen to Anne Sophie or Samuelsen! Thats the real Titans, this one is just human
I freakin love those closed eyes. She plays her soul here, folks.
Allways a heaven trasportation when Julia plays.
last summer I went with my grandma to a concert like this one and I was the youngest there, the rest were more then 50 years old. I was the center of attention when people saw me coming in (15 years old)
+Constance Matthews I was a fetus and went with my mom, I also was the center of attention.
Do you want a cookie or something?
Constance Matthews feel you 😂
This is weird to me because, where I live, everyone of every age despises classical music, especially the older generation. I meet ten times more younger people into music from before the 20th century than older. I wish I lived somewhere it was appreciated, if that is anywhere in the world anymore
(I don't remember writing this comment but oh well) but yes please I would love some cookies.
:39 is perfection 1:12 is amazingly brilliant. from 2:21 and 2:30 flows into 2:58 nicely. 5:58 sounds spot on 6:30 builds up to 6:53. 7:15 up to 7:50 is the holy grail sounds. 8:25 and on would make Vivaldi live once more as i do now. The rest of winter, they show off with perfection. That my friends is an Angel among many.
es ist einfach schön sie spielen zu hören sehen danke
absolutely AMAZING
What a passionate rendition of Paganini's second caprice for her encore. Bravissima
Oh... My... God!!!! This was incredible! Nobody coughed!
(or was my volume too low to notice?)
ikr
Diferent from ana vidovic’s asturias performance
Great!! incredible performance...
The best performance I have ever heard of this piece, by far. Absolutely outstanding. I will never forget this.
Magnifique ! Sublime ! Julia est merveilleuse dans l'hiver de Vivaldi. J'aimeeeee et même plus encore !!! :-)))
Wish I were there. I am sitting here listening and crying at the same time. What a great performance!
Her dynamics are incredible. Clearly defined volume and intensity while still projecting and filling the room.
Julia Fischer’a violin and technique. Always been my most top fave of all performances on Winter. It’s just so clean, smooth and perfect on timing and feeling, texture and just right consistency of audio. Everything so good. Wish alot more violinists had violins like her’s. It has it’s own melody
It was so well played that I keep watching it over and over again. :)
what an amazing interpretation...I would have shouted bello or something like that and stand..ALso she brings to her interpretations some nuances of the piano expression which really keep you on tiptoe and surprise you all along the way. Its such a crisp playing and technique as well. What a great talent!
When we lived in Norway, I understood what Vivaldi was describing with his Four Seasons. Now in north Georgia continues to speak!
Julia is SUPERB! Incredible gift she has! Also as a Pianist!
Truly outstanding . . . Julia Fischer has touched my heart; and I'm grateful.
Julia is amazing!!
lol y'all just like her cuz she's pretty and can play the violin well.
+funny guy Yes, she's easy on the eye's no doubt, but being an accomplished musician myself and a lover of Vivaldi and Bach, I truly think she's an amazing player and a musical inspiration.
Stephen Banville tru she is awesome. Theres no doubt about that but I'm sure she gained her popularity from her looks.
+funny guy Hilary Hahn is good by those criteria too (and she plays quite well too actually)
+funny guy There are not many violinists playing on this Level. Even if she was ugly she would be famous. Maybe, you wouldn't be watching this.
Breathtakingly excellent.
13 min... Put nearly hundreds of people in a single room, all awake to the fullest mode and no one saying a single word, this is a real magic of Vivaldi, making people watching the world for a few minutes.
I keep playing this over and over...
When I watch & hear exceptional musicians like Julia Fischer -- or anyone performing on that stage for that matter -- I regret the discipline I lacked in my life.
Cuando en la Tierra es invierno, en el universo puede oírse esto.
Thanks Vivaldi.
Your very fond of good music. Enjoy. ..
Paul Wing Thanks!
Te Antonín .....
Carina... gracias infinitas! no hay como pagar esto. gracias otra vez.
winter is coming
Winter is here
Winter is gone
Winter was brief
Winter was shit
stark
OMG another great playing. Crisp orchestra strings, and admirable solo playing. I never heard of this Fischer but she has a delightful baroque spirit. This orchestra is splendid also. They go together so well.
Amazing heavenly performance !
VIVALDI'S sound is more just a. "music" . This is a message to all Humankind.
Art and feelings are together right here!
My favorite classical song hands down. She nails it.
All I ever wanted was peace but how can I have peace when u can't call it a p i e c e
Yes, it’s not a song. It’s a piece.
FANTASTIC AND FABULOUS PLAYING OF VIOLIN
.For mine , the best interpretation of 'Winter' on youtube. This lady is outstanding ,
Beautiful! Im in tears
BRAVO!!!! su interpretación en muy impactante hizo que me gustara la música clásica
If Vivaldi was alive today, he would be composing music for heavy metal bands!
Haha. I was just thinking that when they all go at it it feels like they all should be headbanging.
Vivaldi was reincarnated as Brenden Small of Dethklok...
agreed
In your dreams.
Readme .txt I'll read you.
es la más acertada interpretación de el invierno, Antonio está feliz desde el plano espiritual, disfrutando su creación en manos de esta deslumbrante intérprete.
It isn't just a clean performance. It's full of passion.
I wouldve started a mosh pit

Winter is one of my favorite pieces of music. Great job guys & gals!!!!!
That kind of talent brings tears to my eyes and touches my soul...
Love this wonderful piece and Julia Fischer's volin performance!!! ❄♥❄
I love it!
She looks like she is making love to that violin. Passion written all over her expression. And that is exactly why she progressed to this level of mastery.
Excellent composition. Julia Fischer is probably the most talented, and beautiful, violinist. Bravo.
Thanks beyond thanks for all. I am in awe
Cada vez que assisto ou escuto essa música, meu coração bate mais forte.
Bravo!!!
Magnífico!!!
Now i have to accompany a violinist playing Winter... Whew!
with super great emotions... Love it!
An excellent musical performance.

Brilliant performance. Thanks for sharing.
Stupendo amo Vivaldi
Nunca vi tamanha perfeição na execução e naturalidade. Parabéns Julia Fischer, minha alma agradece ^^
Oh, What a beautiful music and performance!!
Great honor to all players!
impecable,,,,
3:36 - 5:37 One word to encompass this: Beauty. A perfect antidote for when the daily exposure to general philistinery becomes beyond unbearable.
Incrível. Me faltam palavras para expressar tamanha beleza! Bravo!
Woaw this performance is amazing!!!
absolutely beautiful
