Unfortunately, the "Joker" sequel missed it's mark. It doesn't offer nothing new or adds anymore kind of depths to the characters. Plus I think they were trying too hard to make Joker into a sympathetic character. Lady Gaga was alright, but I don't think she comes close to Margot Robbie. But the thing that completely ruined it was making it a musical. It doesn't fit well with the tone and felt that was thrown by the script writers who were running out of ideas.

And the crazy thing about the Batman Beyond flashback is, after some complaints, they created another version that took out some parts and the blood... but ended up giving Joker a more fitting and more gruesome end. Instead of a Bang flag through the heart, he gets caught in some electric wires while on a wet floor, slips and pulls a switch, electrocuting himself. In a dark humorous way, he died in the equivalent of slipping on a banana peel. Somehow, like 4kidz with the Shadow Realm in YUGIOH, Batman Beyond found a "kid friendlier" death for Joker that was somehow MORE disturbing than the version labelled for older audiences

I remember watching this movie with my bff and i felt more than bad for Jim Gordon especially when the song "i go Looney" (although the song was pretty goofy and funny to hear) and the moment when Jokko diffuse pictures of Barbara. Emperor Joker is technically the worst thing he's ever done, but that entire arc got undone when Mxyzptlk got his power back, so there weren't any lasting consequences. The Arkham Knight Matter of Family DLC subplot was pretty evil. Joker and Harley use a device to keep a girl with cancer alive long enough for her father to build a park to the Joker's liking. After the park is complete, the Joker and Harley stop the girl's treatments and convince her father to sign the park over to the Joker. Think the daughter dies and they dad goes not long after that
