squeeze it, doritos guacamole and hostess choco bliss
Guacamole Doritos was ahead of its time!
It debuted at a time when a lot of Americans weren’t even familiar with Guacamole - which is unfathomable to think in 2024 considering how popular it has become the past 10-15 years.
It’s time to bring it back and it’d be HUGE!
They sell it at my local Walmart I'm in calgary Alberta Canada
I want to also confirm they still do exist. I believe I seen them at my local seven eleven, it was a speedway a few months ago
The Latinos community in the US specifically Southwestern states was buying up Guacamole 🥑 Doritos
Some snack makers like Utz, El Sabroso, and Barcel, still make their own guac-flavored tortilla chips.
ive never met anyone in my life that didnt know what guacamole was.
The cheesecake snack bars was life
They were really tasty.
@@JuliaKdelRey I Agree
It was my crack during my pre-teen years
I liked them, but they were a bit intense for every day.
@@TyrekeCorrea Me Too
These food commercials are so very nostalgic and very entertaining better than today’s now.
For real they're not as catchy, creative or fun as these were
Agreed
Yeah, it seems like everything is all political instead of fun.
I wish the pizzarias chips was brought back. They were so good!
Guacamole Doritos would probably be a hit today
Yes, yes they were! I used to grab a bag of them almost every day from a local gas station in Texas when I was in Kindergarten and 1st Grade.
At the local gas stations in my area, northeast Tennessee, there's a brand called Gardetto’s that has a pizzeria mix that really good. I'm sure you can find it in your local grocery chain in bigger bags, I've just never looked. Not sure how it compares to those but it my scratch that itch.
I’m a 2000’s kid and I remember pringles pizza sticks. I was addicted to them. Seriously, they were probably one of the best ideas that pringles ever had and if they ever came out again, I’d rush to the stores to buy them. The sticks themselves had dust on them that carried the flavor, and the sticks were very much like tiny breadsticks, with two sides of the snack being round and the other two sides being flat. If I had to describe the flavor, it was a mix of pizza sauce, garlic and basil. That’s the best way I can explain it. It was so unique.
I loved them too
They were a favorite of mine too growing up, I miss them! Wonder if there are any good alternatives out there, because now I'm craving some haha
@@horse00626 There's a brand called Pretz and they taste like the Pringles one. They also come in honey mustard flavored.
So this is a bit off topic, but back then commercials were so much fun that made you excited for the product being sold. Not just snacks and food in general but also like video games, toys, movies, vehicles, vacations etc. We had positive messages in our commercials that reflect our mental state. We usually say how it was better in the 90s and I do believe it also because of the marketing. Now everything seems too corporate and depressing, and I believe it's part of of reason why we have more mental health issues than ever. How is it that a generation that's all about mental health awareness is the most depressed.
You can compilations of old commercials on UA-cam. I find it comforting.
Some of the snacks they head back in the 80s and 90s are way more better than the snacks are now today
@@dakkuri1Agreed 👍
@@dakkuri1 and healthier, not saying you should eat them as a way to get in shape but compared to all the process food today, they were much better for you
I mean corporations have a lot of power now, plus end stage capitalism, wage gap is at a all time high, rights are being slashed, government is corrupt... and mental health and physical health in the United States isn't about keeping people healthy, its about how much money you can get them to pay for subpar care.....makes sense to me that we are where we are today 😢
MARS: killed PB Max because they didn't like peanut butter.
Also MARS: Introduced M&M's peanut butter.
it used to peanut butter now it caramel
@@user-dl9fz9pl9o M&Ms has peanut butter too, in addition to the caramel
It's curious why they made it in the first place if they don't like peanut butter.
Don’t tell me about discontinued Ben and Jerry’s flavors. They had one called “From Russia With Buzz” that was the White Russian flavor mixed with some other coffee based flavor. The fudge pieces had ground espresso beans in them. You eat some of that and you were guaranteed to be awake for a solid week! I used to work overnight at Wally World and a few bites of that helped me power through my shift. GOD I miss it!
A friend of mine ate an entire pint of that in college and wondered why he couldn't fall asleep, lol!
@@theedmee It would light your ass up, that’s for sure! I was in college and that flavor got me through A LOT of all-nighters. 😂
Ever have Haagen-Dasz's Margarita sorbet?
Half of this list is stuff I've never heard of or never had a chance to try Lol Stuck between FOMO and nostalgia.
Flintstone Push Pops, Butterfinger BBS, Hershey Swoops, Altoid Sours, Original Wonderballs, Ritz Bits S’mores, Nestle Bug Pops, Whistle Pops, Creme Savers, Lollipop Paint shop, and many more.
They're All My All Time Favorite Snacks.
Def miss these same ones but have been lucky enough to still buy creme savers at my local grocery store or Walmart. Strawberry and caramel both. I wish they'd bring the others back 😢
@@tammydeetz7927 You get caramel?! Awww! I only got strawberry and orange creme savers in California and they're only in Hot topic or stores almost like it
@@tammydeetz7927 Me Too
The push pops still exist
I miss Fiery Haberano from Dortios that came in an orange bag 😢
I cried from remembering the Doritos Guacamole, I loved those so much and lost it when I couldn't find them anymore. They were actually quite tasty! 😢
Grew up in late 80s and 90s. That was a peak time to be alive. Early 2000s were also awsome. God I miss those days.
seeing the PB crisps just unlocked memories deep inside me that I didn't even know was still there.. words cant express how good they were
god i LOVED dannon sprlinklins. it's actually why i clicked on this video. "hey it's that candy yogurt thing i couldn't remember the name of!"
I so loved butterfinger bbs when I was a kid. I wish they bring those back
Me Too
Omg same. I miss them so much
I like the bars, are you talking they had these little BF balls?
Every time I watch the Simpsons I want a damn butterfinger.😂
@@user-xt8fm3tv6x Yeah
RIP golden oreo cakesters🪦 😔
🚻
Those made my stomach acid bubble 😂
They were the best idk why they’re gone
And the Nutter Butter Cakesters
Ah man, i remember way too many of those 80s/90s commercials, even for ones that were never sold in Canada lol. Squeeze It was awesome, maybe cause my mom wouldn’t buy it case it was “ sugar water” so I only got to have it at friends houses lol if u ever want your child to want something, just refuse to let them have it 😤😤😤
Other people's parents are always the GOAT.
I loved the cheesecake bars so much when I was a little kid, and I remember getting the butterfinger bb's when I went to Blockbuster.
What ever happened to Doritos’s 3D nacho! Little triangle chips? So good they just quit selling them.
Those were my favorite snacks! They tried to bring them back but they made them way harder and the flavor isn't even close. Just a triangle bugle now. Wish they'd bring back the OG 3D doritos.
OMG the Jello Pudding Pops were the best!! Philadelphia cream cheese bars and Kit Kat bit were delicious. What about Hostess fruit pies? I craved the lemon pie. Ahh yummy. A lot of the items had peanut butter in them. LOL
The Nestle coconut treasures were literally the best chocolate I've ever had. The coconut remained so toasted and crispy inside the chocolate. It blew my mind
I remember Yogos omg they were so good smh those need to be brought back
Yes! Such a childhood fave for me
We sure did loved food coloring back then
Butterfinger bbs were my fav miss them sooo much
Every 90s mom had half-melted Nestle Treasures in her purse, right next to the ripped half-stick of mint gum.
Guacamole Doritos were essential for every long car trip.
Every cool kid in school had Pizzarias in their lunch from home.
Snackwells reminded me of my grandma's house. She always, always had Snackwells.
My favorite snack was Amazin Fruit gummie bears and I've been trying to find as close of a replica ever since.
Monterey Jack Doritos were my favorites. This was...early 90s? for just a few years. but i still remember how much i liked them. nostalgia.....
Wat about them sour cream nd onion joints though!!! Mhmmmmm
*PB Crisps, Nerds Push Up Pops & the Tangerine Altloid Sours* all need a comeback. Such nostalgic tastes that I’ll never forget 😌
Tangerine sours did get recreated by Lofty Pursuits, but some people said the flavor wasn't quite right
PB&J Oatmeal Pies from little Debbie, Gelooze "drinks", Bagelfuls, Giggles cookies, Hostess Twinkie Lights, Pizzarias' chips, Pudding Pops and PB Crisps are my all time missed food/snacks. I also want McDonalds to bring back Bacon Egg Cheese Bagels. And I have many missed cereals like Ghostbusters Cereal, Rocky Road Cereal, Hidden Treasures Cereal, Filled Frosted Mini Wheats, Blueberry Morning, Smorz Cereal, Nintendo Cereal System and TMNT Cereal
I think Butterfinger BB's were discontinued for the same reason as the Hershey Bites - choking hazard.
I still think MARS made the dumbest choice on a candy bar that sold so well, and here we are, decades later, and they bring in a PB candy (M&M's) but didn't bring back PB Max.
They still got the buncha crunch on the market, though.
Why... Why does the world want to forget Sobe Drinks.... I go to the cold drinks in markets, and I cry. I cry that I see no Strawberry and Banana or Green Tea or Orange-Carrot Sobe Drinks. My childhood consists of cool glass bottles.
The glass 100% make drinks taste better.
sun chips just unlocked so much memories lmao
ahhh the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, when kids could still be kids
I actually used to collect the empty Squeezit bottles and have them engage in adventures and fights using my own imagination. Good times.
The 90's were a wild time for snacks.
The discontinued snack I miss the most is Doritos 3d I would grab a bag whenever I went to what's now a seven eleven
I remember those. I think they changed the formula afterwards to be more “authentic”. Didn’t work. Haven’t changed back. Wish the old Nacho cheese came back.
They brought them back, but they were definitely different. I think they are gone again.
@skilldeadly8888 the revival of Doritos 3D was a completely different chip. Texture and flavors were different. A disappointment.
Me too id love to have them back more than anything! The OGs and not the whack revival they pulled on us
@@Guardian5985
Yep. Taste is bland.
I was mad when the Little Bites were suddenly gone. I basically went through a bag a week, then I couldn't find them, as an adult I got over it. However, one of my favorite childhood snacks were from NABISCO, they were called Dizzy Grizzlies. They were basically a larger version of the teddy grahams with a chocolate coating on the back that was also covered in sprinkles. I wish those would make a come back.
I remember those Dizzy Grizzlies too. A lot of these stuff needs to be brought back!
Maltitol is generally used in most (if not ALL) sugar-free desserts. I run a bakery and whenever anyone orders a sugar-free cake or cheesecake from me, they should know to eat it in moderation. That’s like saying, “I didn’t know that would happen after I drank all that prune juice!”
"There's nothing particularly special about the Treasures chocolates"
Me, as a kid: "They look like little treasure boxes!!! I must eat them!"
The caramel ones were my ABSOLUTE favorites!
I was actually obsessed with the coconut ones. Those were genuinely fire to me cause of the toasted coconut
Man, if I could go back to being a kid knowing how good I would have it… wouldn’t hesitate whatsoever
I loved PB Crisps, PB Max, and Jello Pudding Pops.
I miss Yogos so much!!!
So good!
@@LucyLioness100 Very Good
Loved them!
😂 Same! The Welches attempt just doesn’t compare
I used to live for.yogo balls! Sour, berry, all the.flavors
So. Much. Nostalgia.
Thank you, Watch Mojo.
6:37 Every time the sugar-free Haribo bears are mentioned, I am reminded of someone on FunnyJunk who went by the name of peanutbitter. Bro ate some of these gummy bears and chronicled his tummy troubles due to them
Omg I love Yogos❤
Sweet potato and brown sugar Sun Chips were the best and I miss them so much
Man the Yo-gos bits was the best snack ever created they have to bring these back 😔
I'm not sure if they're still around or were discontinued, but one of the most nostalgic snacks I remember was Fruit Gushers. As a Canadian, I'm proud to say Fruit Gushers were the official sponsor of the children's game show Uh-Oh - another staple of my childhood.
I still miss nesquik cookies and cream powder. I had it once during my childhood and never got it again. Maybe one day they’ll bring it back…
Nestlé White Crunch was one of the best candy bars, in my opinion. I was so disappointed (& still very annoyed) when they discontinued it. Keebler Magic Middles is another snack I wish they'd bring back.
Was absolutely shocked to see a guy wearing a Mae shirt (old band).
From the list, I do miss the Starburst hard candy. Lofty Pursuits makes good dupes of the Altoids Sours from what I've been told, I'm just waiting for the holidays to spend that kind of money on a candy.
I also miss the Florida's Naturals fruit snacks, Brownie Chips Ahoy, and the Pretzel M&M's.
The sugar free gummy bears are sold in Australia at chemist (Drug Stores) shops ... I was getting pain killers (Opiates) during my cancer and also an operation ... they wanted us to drink this laxative ...explosive!
So my wife got me a bag of the Sugar Free Bears, eat two or three and easy movements in the morning ...plus they taste great .. LOL
Maybe they should bring them back as gummy laxatives! They have gummy vitamins and gummy everything else! (BTW, I work in a store, and there are WAY too many different kinds of gummy candy out there! It's ridiculous!)
I too work at a gas (petroleum station) and occasionally I buy chocolates (candy) and at one point we sold gummy bears (sugar free) for about a week before they got pulled (cancled).....H-O-M-E-R....🤠
@@user-xt8fm3tv6x It's strangle... I'm from Michigan, been here in Australia for 45 odd years. There are 325 K-Mart stores across Australia and New Zealand right now doing well. K-Mart was opened by Sebastian Spering Kresge (S. S. Kresge department stores) My grand mother would take me to downtown Pontiac to the store for an Ice Cream sundae... Back in the 60's my girlfriend got her first job at K-Mart.
As a young child, Yogos were my FAVORITE snack.
Mine Too, I Had Those For Snack Time.
Loved those! Always had one in my lunch bag or for a snack
@@LucyLioness100 Me Too
Oreo Sippers were good on paper, but I can see why they were discontinued.
Hershey Nuggets are the modern day version of the Nestle Treasures.
You missed "Suddenly S'mores!" Chocolate and marshmallow between two graham cracker cookies, you'd put them in the microwave and they would puff up! My mom and I had to keep ourselves from going through a whole package in one sitting. Then some idiot burned their mouth on them (because who would expect something in the microwave to get HOT?🙄) and they got discontinued.
Hershey's bites are available in Mexico but only in normal, cookies n cream and dark chocolate flavor
I miss those Kissables, the commercial was classic
@@LucyLioness100 Me too
Honestly, if Starburst Hard candy was still around I'd buy it as a stop smoking aid. It's nice to suck on hard candy when you're craving a smoke.
I loved the Keebler's Christmas cookies that are white icing with green and red drizzles on them.
It wasn't on this list but Screaming Yellow Zonkers was one of my favorites.
0:48 I Remember This!
I Was Trying To Remember The Name Of This Drink For The Longest Time! Thanks Mojo!
Same! I had to share this to my older & younger sister on account we'd fight over these all the time. Could never remember what they were called though. Only referred to them as the "Kool-aid jammers of the 90's" 😂
I definitely miss the kissables.
I remember that commercial set to “Largo Al Factorum” from ‘Barber of Seville’, such an earworm
Altoid apple sours were my favorite candy back in the day and I also really loved the planters PB Crisps.
Does anyone remember the different colored squeeze butters? I think they were by parkay. I remember them having pink and blue butter.
One of my favorite snacks to eat when I was a kid was the chocolate doughnut Cap’n Crunch. They had a little multicolored sprinkles on them and they were so good.
I was really sad when they were discontinued. My family tried getting a chocolate flavored Lucky charms but it was so disgusting. I think we threw them out after trying them for the first time.
That is how I felt when they discontinued Banana pudding cereal, it tasted just like banana pudding it was good, then it just disappear
Oh my gosh!! Yes!! I've been talking about the smuckers Snack N' Waffles!! I would eat the chocolate chips ones all the time in school as a snack!! They're sooo good!!! I miss them!!i also miss Butterfingers BBs, Hershey Kissables, and Oreo Sippers!!and cheetos Twisted!!
I remember having Cheetos Twisters. They were absolutely a wonderful snack. Man I missed those already
I Want Those Cheetos Twisted Back!
Don’t know if they’re still around, but I was in a Sheetz last year and they had FRUIT LOOPS CEREAL STRAWS. Had to get them. Were absolute fire.
You know what I miss? 3 Musketeers Truffle Crisps. So unbelievably good, like a better Twix. That snap they made with every bite was so satisfying.
3 Musketeers Truffle Crisps were such a unique treat! The crispiness and truffle flavor made them stand out. It’s always a bit of a letdown when favorite snacks disappear. Do you have any other nostalgic candies or snacks you wish would come back?
@@WatchMojo Snacks? No. But it's high time Quiznos made a comeback. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can compete with the Quiznos Classic Italian.
Doritos guacamole never went away. They just changed the brand name to Tostitos.
I believe so because they're owned the same corporate company
im from scandinavia but i am fascianated by american snacks so ty mojo!
21:14 They NEED to bring these back!
Family Dollar has a house brand guacamole tortilla chip
4:56 that Patricia Heaton?
That’s what I was thinking too. I was a fan of the Nestle Treasures Coconut.
Yes it is
PB Crisps were the best. I mean, the snack itself was amazing but they also had, by far, one of the catchiest commercials. That jingle has never left my head after all these years.
Guacamole Doritos made me stop eating Doritos and started my one sided beef with guacamole 🥑 😂 my mom loved them so much when they were out
I wanted to try the peanut butter boppers but I imagined the calories were through the roof. They must have tasted absolutely divine! Kudos Granola Snacks were yummy though. I had one once.
I wish the PB max made a comeback. 🎉
For those of us that remember all of these, take your vitamins, drink sk6me water and get ready for wheel of fortune tonight 😂
Enjoy Wheel of Fortune tonight!

The guacamole Doritos would sell like crazy nowadays it was before it’s time
Mmm, Patricia Heaton and chocolate together? Delicious.
I feel like I’m the only one who remembers the Kraft macaroni snacks. They were like cheezits/cheeznips but they were shaped like elbow macaroni. I don’t remember them lasting super long but they were great. I remember them in original cheese flavor and white cheddar.
I've never even had PBCrisp or PBMax, and I want them back just so I can try them both
Those cheesecake snack bars were soooo good
I was growing up my kids with many of these products, and many of them we kept away from. (sprinkles in yogurt, yuck)
The only thing I got was green ketchup, because it was so intriguing.
But that bottle stayed in the fridge half unused, and the regular ketchup was used way more. After 6 months of staying in the fridge, I threw it out, and nobody noticed.
There's just something wrong with green ketchup.
Anyone remember Screaming Yellow Zonkers?
