Thank you for the innovation and design of the light bar. Im printing it now as we speak. Question though...are you running the light strip all the way around, and if so, what are you doing in the corners? I saw the strip was cut at the corner so did you solder extension wires? You went onto showcasing the remote and light levels without showing the whole results of the light mounting. Thanks for all you do!
Good question. I ran the LED strip continuously around. It was tricky going around the corners and the strip wasn’t perfect in the corners. When I made a similar LED upgrade to my Bambu Lab X1C, I did cut the LED strip and soldered wires around each corner, but I took a shortcut when making the LED strip for the Magneto X. Either way will work; it’s a matter of if you want to put the time in to soldering wires in the corners. Thanks for the question.
@ristinnovations okay, how did you do that without kinking the light strip as the angle changes in the 45 degree corner and won't let the strip lay flat in it.
The LED strip isn't flat in each corner. It's "suspended" in the air at each corner. It's a bit hard to explain without showing you a photo. I think the best thing is to cut four strips and solder wires in each corner to connect the 4 strips, but my continuous LED strip was easier for me at the time.
I just got mine printing and saw this in the search results. The filament feed path is ridiculous - I shortened my PTFE tube, so it did not drag on the build plate, Like your idea.
I wish mine was printing anywhere close to as good as yours. I have had mine for a few months now and it hasn't been doing well since day 1. The support is pretty good, they have sent replacement parts and are working with me, I just don't have the expertise, nor the tools, to really do things as properly as they need to be done. The newest models seem to solve most of these issues and concerns, and honestly.. just look nicer.
I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Magneto X. I’m glad Peopoly is working with you to sort out the problems, but I know it can be frustrating, especially since you paid so much for the printer. I hope things improve with your specific printer. Thanks for your comment.
You don't need the vision miner glue. The liquid glue from bambu is way cheaper and works extremely well. Also no need for brims at all on abs with that glue.
In my experience, although the Vision Minor is expensive, I have found it lasts much longer than various glue sticks. I was being conservative regarding the brims because I wanted to make sure the print was successful. Thanks for your comment.
I own a specialized printing company strictly modeling for industrial and businesses all around washington state. Were interested in this Magneto X but from what we would need out the door the price tag hits $2,000.. We need a large, quick and reliable printer that can print PPS,PA6-GF, PAHT, and PET-CF 24/7.. I want to pull the trigger on this but very hesitant due to the amount of work needed if something goes south.. Anyone vouch for this machine in a production setting?
PPS alone needs 320c from the hotend, but the current hotend on the magneto x maxes out at 300c. I'd take a look at the Qidi Plus 4 - it can do 360c and has a heated enclosure all for under $1000. Only downside for me with the Qidi is the build volume of 305x305x280 was just a little smaller than I need.
for a company that needs reliable printers, x1-e probably or just upgrade a x1-c, Qidi plus 4 can do it at a better price but its new and has issues, still waiting on mine
@@songhan1586 yeah I am kind of glad I didn't order a Qidi Plus 4 after seeing some of the quality control issues and even fire safety issues when using 110v instead of 220v

@@TheEdgeofTech Hi Jim, I had a great time! I picked up a Death Racer Kit so I will be ready to compete next year.😀
The enclosure came with cable ties that attached to the top frame that holds it perfectly with no slack no matter where it moves

Thanks for the vid! Your solution for the LED lighting looks like a must have. I wonder how hard it would be to implement RGB control?
If you mean to connect it to the printer electronics, I’m not sure. Thanks for your feedback!

Do you think it would be easy to replace the hot end with a Revo?
Its on black friday sale for 1300 and includes the enclosure too.
can i get a opportunity to design your next thumbnail?
