I love that song at the end. I know this is an old video and we are at the start of summer, I really enjoyed singing along with the beautiful song of hope and Christmas joy. I am old now but it brings back wonderful memories from my youth. I am the oldest of 4 kids and suffer from arthritis and this makes me remember my strength and vigor when I was young. Our family was poor but it was full of joy around Christmas as we helped my mom bake and prepare and cook all the Christmas goodies.
I don’t know if you read old comments. I’ve been sick and been on a Giselle watch marathon. The nativity scene your brother made was fabulous. I bought one from Amazon last year and was so disappointed with the quality and size. I wanted one for about the center of our mantle and 24 inches would have been perfect. I would pay $50 for one. I don’t know about Canadian shipping however. Love the singing at the end. You have the loveliest, calmest and most wholesome vlogs on YT. You’re an amazing young woman.
Love the Nativity your brother makes! It’s beautiful! Love your videos. You have such a joyful spirit. Always laughing with your friends and family! Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Not only is she always laughing, when something is disappointing she makes the best of the situation. I am working on myself to be more accepting when disappointments come my way. Giselle is a great role model.
Two questions for you Giselle! 1. Please tell us about your tattoo - what does it say / why did you get it? 2. You mentioned that you have left and returned to the colony twice in your life. Why did you leave the second time?
Hello!!! I always watch your channel. I do not know if you will read this or respond but i am watching all the way from Jamaica in the Caribbean. I love your channel because it is calming and peaceful and shows us the love of God in action. I wish everyone everywhere would slow down just to live the way that truly matters. God bless you and your family and the community. I was wondering do you guys do evangelism and missions? Like how do you reach out to those who are lost as a community? I am just honestly curious that is why I am asking. I hope you will respond. Blessings to you.
Hi oh wow Jamaica that is amazing and i'm happy that you enjoy the videos i so love to create them 😊 i guess you could say that with my videos is one way of doing that but, i guess that is still new. missions? do you mean like missionary work?
@@gisellewaldner9406 You replied! 😃 Well yes I mean like missionary work either in your country or elsewhere. And yes your videos are doing evangelism for sure. Does your church family eve go out and share your beliefs? It might be different there because maybe laws are restricting. I really love missions and evangelism so I always want to learn what others do to see if I can apply it also in my context.
I (as usual!) enjoyed your video very much! Thank you for taking us along as you live your life to the fullest. Your enthusiasm reminds me to “do all things as unto the lord,” so that everything becomes meaningful and satisfying. Your brother’s manger scene is simply very beautiful! If he ever wishes to sell them I’d love to have one for our family!
Pretty video Giselle.....and fun too!! The Nativity is beautiful....would your brother consider making them and selling??? I would love one......also please be careful of any rawhide made in China.....not good for dogs.....please check the labels....Christmas blessings to you and your family....
thank you for the heads up and Christmas blessings to you 😊 i told him that people are interested in the nativity so i might have put something in his head 😊
Gorgeous sky...beautiful music....may our Lord's peace and joy fill you and your family this Christmas season as we celebrate the Father's most precious and holy gift to us...💗
Hello from Russia! I am an Orthodox Christian, our tradition is very ancient, but I am interested to see what unusual forms Christianity takes in the modern world. Your lifestyle looks very unusual to me, but I see you filled with happiness and love for God and your neighbors. This is very inspiring! I observe Advent according to the tradition of the Russian Church, it is 40 days of completely vegan food, without alcohol and entertainment. More prayer, Bible reading and texts from holy teachers, as well as charity of course. We will celebrate Christmas on the ancient calendar on January 7th. God's blessings to you! Sorry for the mistakes, I don't know English very well. :-)
Hello to you too i love hearing where people are from it is so interesting and such a wide variety of places 😊 that is fascinating how you celebrate Christmas and no worries about the English everything seemed great to me 😊
Yay, thank you so very much for sharing your books where you get your readings from! I hope your brothers finger heals quickly. Thank you again for sharing!
Yesterday I found a shop that makes enormous meringue cookies, bigger than my head! Of course I bought a couple for the grandkids. They ate dinner in 10 minutes so they could get to the cookies, then took half an hour eating them. I didn't get a taste so may have to either buckle down and make some or go back to the shop. Love seeing Kona's wagging tail all the way out the door! Your brother has artistic talent as well as you with that beautiful nativity scene. I love it!
Giselle at Walmart they have a Great Value brand of creme brulee coffee and it is amazing!! I didn't like the Keurig so I got the cheap $8.00 Main Stays coffee maker and use the cup from the over the counter cough medicine and add 1 scoop to the filter with 8 ounces of water. After brewed I add my splenda and milk and ice, yummy!! Also a squirt of whipped cream from time to time. God Bless and Merry Christmas, love Marilyn from Tennessee!!
I’ve watched several of your videos and you mention the head cook. Could you interview her. I think most women who watch your videos would be interested in learning about her responsibilities and how those responsibilities effect what you do in the kitchen.
Thank you again for such a beautiful video. You are all so talented with your craftwork and singing. Your devotion is very inspiring. I hope your brother recovers soon. 🙏
A friend of mine just made the meringue trees too :). Hers were a bit more green though and she added sprinkles on top. If you still have some, they would look adorable on a Christmas cake with white frosting for snow 😀
Like your video and the Manger Scene your brother did , your trip to thrift stores ND y'all Singing , love the old traditional songs and listen to y'all sing ,Maybe you might to a complete vlog oh choir (y'all ) singing , such a Blessing and haven't watch you for a while , Merry Christmas to you and The Colony 😇🎵🇺🇸🎼🎄♥️

Since yesterday I've been watching your series because I'm now interested in your language, Hutterite German. When the pandemic is over I want to visit your community to learn Hutterite cooking and to know how to make the pretty traditional dress you are now wearing! Maybe you can open the cookery class for foreign women especially from Asian countries. :D
You have given peace and joy through your devotions and songs. I look forward to your vlogs each day. May God bless you and yours. Thank you for letting us go with you on your journey of life.
Oh I could listen to the singing all day long. It is so beautiful. I purchased the physical book as well as an ebook Morning Mercies and I am loving it all thanks to you. Can't wait for your next video. Many blessings to you
I use to make "nighty nights" which is a meringue cookie with mini chocolate chips or mini M&Ms inside them. The oven is set at 250 degrees F. Put the cookies in and then turn off the oven and the cookies are left in the oven over night or 6-7 hours depending on the humidity in your kitchen.
I commented already earlier but I just want to say that its so great that you showed your devotionals. I wanted to ask so I am really glad that someone asked and that you showed them.
I got new binoculars for Christmas! Mine are for bird watching. What a deal!! The ones your brother got look like “opera” binoculars or for inside theater productions? Merry Christmas! God’s ✌🏻
Shopping along with you was fun! I say “binoculars” the way you do. 😁 I couldn’t make out what your mom said about the coffee. You have more snow than we do in the eastern part of the province.
Merry Christmas blessings to you and your family...I still enjoy your vlogs and your good-natured outlook on life...you are young enough to be my granddaughter and are such a sweet person!! The nativity scene that your brother made is awesome and a great family heirloom for the future. Until next time!!

Those binoculars are pretty cool. If I was there, I would have gotten them. Now you will have to make a video of him using them. I want to go see something in a theater and could really use those. LOL. But I have already forgotten what I wanted to see so I am not going, and the tickets were so much so no, for sure, not going. But those little binoculars would be perfect and they are so pretty. I am so weird, I ALWAYS have a pair in my car in case I need them.
I love looking at your videos, the singing is so inspiring, you have really encouraged me with the way you deal with day to day chores, you have blessed me. God bless you and your family.
My grandmother use to make meringue cookies we called them nighty nights. She would make them mint ie mint extract and mint chocolate chips or chocolate chips I like the mint chips . Hi, Giselle! Thank you for showing us your daily life in your community! At the moment I'm living in Japan but a German-speaking person. And I could catch the German sentence you said in this video "Ich hob dich" or something like this when you entered the supermarket with your brother. If it's possible, could you possibly make a special video for us to learn more about Hutterite German?
What a fun and lovely video!! I just put a few Christmas decorations up, so this added to my Christmas spirit! I agree with all the others, your brother's Manger scene is really wonderful! Thank you for sharing music, and devotionals! As we say here in the South (USA) where I come from..Bless all y'all this Christmas!!
Another lovely vlog! Bringing peace and gratefulness to my heart. You are like a wonderful friend to spend a little time with! I love thrift shops! Everything is unique and when you find the right item it is very special. Like a happy surprise when you find something that is just the perfect thing you may not have have known you were looking for! Thank you so much for your videos! Christmas Season is my favorite time of year. It is amazing to share a bit of this time with you and your Community in this way. Your videos are a gift to everyone who watches!
Meringue cookies are so much fun! They are really delicious. The cooking times vary depending on where you live, and how much humidity exists. Somebody who lives in a place with low humidity might be able to bake the meringue cookes with less time, or simply with turning off the oven. I live in California, and we've done it that way (turning off the oven). It worked! I also eat gluten-free. I saw a recipe for a pie shell using meringue, and thought that would be really fun to try. Of course, it would be free of gluten as well. I'm sorry your brother injured his finger. Praying he'll soon be feeling better. Thanks for another wonderful video. Remembering you and your family in prayer. PS Thanks for getting lovely surprises for Kona, including the gift for Christmas!
i never really put much thought into the meringues but, it does make sense i feel like our air is more dry in winter. my brother is on the mend which is a relief 😊
Love the metal nativity scene.
It's stunning isn't it
💥 LOVE all your videos..

The nativity scene is beautiful, so clever of your brother to do this.
I love the end of the video with music and songs
The landscape is so peaceful - thank the Lord for nature❤️
I love the manger scene your brother made. How much would one cost if he wanted to sell them?
Interested as well
I wondered that too!
They would definitely sell! So pretty and simple. Would look lovely on a mantle above the fireplace.
Interested, its beautiful!
I’m sure wit would cost a fortune to ship. Canadian shipping is very expensive.
The Nativity is gorgeous!
Yay, it's Giselle! Blessed Christmas time to your family.
I love your nativity scene, so simple, but so beautiful!

Ooooh yes, almost like cotton candy.
You had one of my favourite Christmas Carols at the end, the Christmas trees looked perfect.

Wishing you and your family a very Blessed Christmas

at first I read your comment and I thought you said that your nephew is 3 and he was 5 feet not 5T !! LOL I was thinking boy -- he is a tall boy!!
