You’re my new hero... I need to sell my old JD LT150, but after watching this I’m gonna go F that thing up... probably fail miserably but I’ll drink a bunch of beer and have fun doing it.
Is it a hydrostatic transmission? If so you can pulley swap it like this but they don't last long
I enjoyed it , very professional and no wak music thank you!
thank you for these videos , they’ve helped me a ton
No problem Ty for
Sick as hell man. Great work. That is exactly what I'm going to do to my old murry mower!
Just fix the camber in your front end mini straightener Wheels and plus use a rubber hammer
very informational video I am doing the same and I learned a lot
I made a extension bar goes on top of the shifter linkage extends about 4in made out of 3/8 ratchet extension
How did u do the gearing because of torque issues
imagine how fast you could mow the lawn with that beast
10mph
You can put smaller tires so you can lower it more it will just be slower
I would like to say thank you for an idea that you came up with for your shifting linkage. As I was stuck with mine and I saw what you did with the 3/8 socket and from there I was able to finish my linkage thank you
That's good to hear would like to see your build
@@greasemonkey348 I will try to send you some pictures. If I can figure out how to. Ty
@@joestone2068 on my Facebook group you are welcome
@@greasemonkey348 sorry I’m so late getting back to you we got like 33 inches of snow up here in Vermont.
@@joestone2068 that a lot
On the motor it should be a 6 1/2 inch poly/2 inch pulley on the bottom tied to the motor
What did you end up doing with the steering rod underneath I’m in the middle of lowering my craftsman not sure how to setup steering yet
That looks reel good on the ground
Do you race im giong to start in 2020 just so i have time to build this summer of 2019 how do i do camber
I would love to go and race but around my area that nothing for that you can make any machine the go and race as long as you have fun doing it
How fast does it go I got one and it's a 3 speed and goes around 55 with live axle, exhaust, and no governor and bigger carb but I didn't think just that would make that much hp
I had mine up to 62mph on my Road 2 scary go any faster had it up on jacks full speed with a speed gun pointing at the tire it was doing 78mph
Anyone else notice the two sheriffs sitting across the street @20:45
Good eye!
Love your videos really helpful!
Looks badass man
Tengo un tractor con moror 15.5 hp lo puedo hacer que tenga mas velocidad
ty
Looks really good
Nice vid
The front end looks broken.
Yes it do lol
Why film in the shadow?? Hard to see your work.
Ya sorry for that
Where did you buy the jack shaft from?
Just buy a piece of 1” shaft and cut to size
U can’t just buy a jack shaft
Twisted R RACING his mower will 88mh you need see his
Why is it always white around your welds. Is it a primer or just something from you flux
i guess it's zinc spray for rust protection..
I’ve never seen him weld... I’m sure it’s JB Weld, he cleans it up with a grinder and primes it. Then starts recording again.
hes probably using a stick welder and it burns really hot.
@@niftyt1 its not jb weld
Nice bidget build. 👍
do you absolutely need the camber at high speeds?
It seems like more to do, and camber is very tricky with hand tools
It was a very squirrely machine that very high speed
@@greasemonkey348 i mean, u were hitting 62 mph on a mower, mine will prob. only go like 40 or something
Where is part 3 lol
I have exactly this mower and im turning it into a gocart too but it wont start. Any ideas?
Carefully remove and clean carb. Take lots of pictures and work over a bench with cloth cover so parts don't bounce away. NOTE how Linkage goes.
How did you setup your clutch?
Still use the original the weed eater clutch is really close to the engine so even with a jackshaft it works
Where did you relocate the pattery?
I made a battery mount off the back nowhere else to put it
Bit to much camber bud
Fr tho u want like 10 15 degrees. And camber is for cornering witch u do t want a mower cornering so fast u would even use the camber bc the center of gravity but great motivation
Your clutch is stuck on
where is the battery
It went on the back of the machine
Did u move it later on cuz when u furst started it . It doesnt seem like its their in the back . Is it in the front under the gas tank ?
Way too much Camber!!! Adjust carb. Engine pulley is not likely 2" Probably 4. Cover the 9" pulley completely. Put suspension springs back under the seat. Runs Ok, Change Camber...new spindles, new attempt at slight camber.
Idle is really high
It is wacky but most larger briggs idle at 1700-1800.
Older single cyl splash lubed engines are around 1200.
To go along with Mrhillfolk there is no muffler so its louder and sounds like a higher idle
Its slow as a turtle..
When I had it it was not slow it was a scary death machine Duffer with the death wobbles and high speed
Kinda slow
