They went above & beyond here. Lots of Starfield fans are saying we can expect a large contiguous playable area around the Va'ruun city in the forthcoming Shattered Space expansion, & this would certainly give the rover much more purpose. Combine that with the excellent new maps..... Damn! The first time I got the Rev-8 I drove right around New Atlantis (which takes ages due to the cliffs & the large lakes). Whilst I was on the journey I saw my first Aceles in the wild. It really gave me a hit of the kind of organic open world exploration bethesda are famous for. I'm actually a big fan of the new direction they took with Starfield, but if they can re-incorporate the old school exploration & discovery vibes, I think a lot more people will start to see what many of us already do in this soon to be great game.
Damn just found your channel. Love your perspective on the game and couldn’t agree more with everything you say. This game really feeds into that inner child we all have and encourages you to engage your imagination. Nothing beats the freedom that comes with Bethesda worlds. Subscribed.
I won't deny I'm a sucker for Bethesda slop, but I can't say this game is a "good game." Note I've played about 60-70 hours. I truly hope it makes a comeback like cyberpunk, and it seems like it's very very slowly (but surely) making it's way there. The REV is great and it seems to imply there will be more vehicles coming (I pray not through CC, but likely to). I also love how it's weapon can be affected by the Lazers skill, Demolition skill, and Heavy Weapon skill. Hopefully the DLC next month will bring alot, cause if it's just a couple starstations, 1 city roughly smaller than the UC capital, and 1 planet (which I'm honestly expecting), then there's likely going to be much disappointment. And I hope there will be more DLC later on like Todd says instead of a One and Done. I'm not meaning to be outright negative, since as I said I enjoy the game and wish it the best, but I want to be critical in a sense that is reasonable with both good, bad, and hopefull
This game is incredible I’m basically playing elder scrolls oblivion in space, Starfield is one of my favorite games
