I have to learn to balance the watering routine for my plants. they all seem to be happy, but they do not bloom. I will try a little harder. Thank you for sharing with me. Have a wonderful day!
I had no idea that there were so many types of lipstick plants, absolutely adore the Black Pagoda and the Pink passion! I have the Mona lisa, black pagoda, Thai pink, twister, and the gracilis lipstick plants. My Mona Lisa is constantly in bloom and is a show stopper. The black pagoda’s bloom is not as impressive, but it makes up for it by the gorgeous foliage. The other plants haven’t bloomed yet but I’m hoping they will this summer.
Oh, they must make you so happy with all of their blooms. The leaves on these plants are amazing, but the blooms are so extra special. I am so happy for you. Enjoy your bloomers!!! Happy friday
Greetings to you, Glenys is Australia! Thank you so much for watching my video and sharing your new plant cutting with me. If you dont mind me asking, what type of plant did your friend share? I always get so excited about new plant cuttings. They are like newborn babies waiting to show their personalities.
Rachel you and the plants are gorgeous!!! I love your collection of Lipstick Plants!! Omg the Pink Passion and Curly Lipstick Plants caught my eye, it’s a must have for sure😍😍

Gorgeous plants, as always! Goldfish plant and pink lipstick plant are on my wish list. I just have to attach a bar in front of my window, to prepare for hanging plants. I love their Hoya-like leaves.
Thanks for sharing your collection. They are really pretty. I just received a Pink Thai Lipstick plant. I received a cutting of a black pagoda in a trade and now it is a full plant but still small. I am waiting to receive my recent purchase of a variegated mona lisa lipstick. Similar to this family, I just purchased a Columnea Julia which blooms red so I am looking forward to them getting big.
Oooooo.... your growing collecting sounds amazing! I will have to look up a picture of the Columnea Julia. It sounds amazing! Thank you for watching and sharing😁
So happy I found your channel!! So I have a huge pagoda (bought that way, I can’t claim to have grown her that way) but thin leaves…I now know I need to adjust care and save her. Thanks 😅

Thank you so much. I love them. The black pagoda is definitely a top contender in the beauty contest. The veins are amazing. thank you so much for watching and sharing!!!
I know this is a older video but did they ever bloom for you? I have a Mona Lisa lipstick plant and it hasn’t bloomed for me either. I noticed there was some bad stems on it so I pruned it some and a week or so later it was full of blooms. I was so shocked and so excited to see flowers on it. Not sure if the pruning helped but it’s worth a shot for yours
If I get a lipstick plant, my mother, who must be an angel by now, would be amused. She never gave up trying to get me to wear lipstick dating back to my first dance at age 16. I never did. I like it on others.
The goldfish plants are so pretty. I think I saw yours in one of your videos. the leaves are very shiny. Do you still love pink lipstick. I love every color of lipstick. its just something happy. My dad didn't like the dark colors that I loved to wear. LOL!!!
I just found a curly lipstick from Home Depot and she has a bug that eats her new buds. Have you had that problem? I have always showered my plants down weekly and then do an alcohol spray but these buggers won’t go away unless you spray them more often
Hello Horsewomen! Oh, no!!! I am so sorry there is a bugger on your plant baby. No, I do not have anything eating away at my lipstick plant, but I have been adding a little bit of cedar oil into my spray bottle before I shower down my plants. I add it before I shower my plants because the cedar oil can burn the leaves. I hope you are able to find a solution for your plant. Thanks for watching!
These grow roots very quickly in water. I put them into a flash of water for just a couple of weeks. I put the black pagoda into soil, and just pop her into a baggie . She grows just fine.
