This inspired me to build a "Sisay Lock" build for casual. Obviously, it won't play as well as a CEDH build, but for lower power, it seems like a very fun way to play 5 color control! Something I always wanted to do, since playing Ur-Dragon gets a little boring lol. Your deck and discussions about it inspired my build a lot, so I humbly thank you! :D
"I'm everywhere but part of nothing. I get to talk shit about everyone without having any responsibilities" That's a big fucking vibe coming from my guy right there I love it 😂
Maybe I am doing my math wrong here but at 11:40 when Mons says he can win on his next turn BUT could he not have used 2/6 treasures to Otawara his own Dockside to hand (since he has 2 legendary creatures). Recast Dockside with 2 treasures leaving him with 2. ETB gains 6 treasures, goes to 8, activates Sisay with 5 (has 3 left), find Emiel, flickers with remaining 3?
The real question is, why is this channel's comment section always trying to correct the content creators? Do you really need to be validated at all times, with every comment? Make you're own content then! Sheesh
@@blayko3271 I'd say the content creators are no different from other players (in the sense that they're always trying to improve) and that those comments are beneficial to them.
@@blayko3271 It is less of a correction and more of another point of view. Sometimes we get tunnel visioned playing and I always appreciate people telling me "I would have gotten Abrupt Decay there because..." I feel like it helps me see lines I wouldn't normally see. Makes me better. I love this channel and the content here. I have learned a lot because of it. It wasn't meant to be critical. Sheeesh indeed.
you think all 4 stax creatures out at the same time was funny. in one of my Winota games, my opponent cast rite of replication on my non-legendary stax creature, I think it was my glowrider and made 5 more copies, basically screwing the whole table over and giving me the game. His reasoning was "I need blockers" lol. naturally I killed him last since he was helping me
So, with three stax already on board, seeing that Mons had the win and those stax didn't bother him, but interrupted interaction from other players against him, the decision was to put another stax to basically leave Mons undisputed. The stax didn't even progress his own gameplan. This game was frustrating, felt like king making imo
This is what I came into the comments to say. Unfortunately this can happen quite easily and is a difficult decision in any game, and really why stax is the hardest archetype to play. When it comes to Thalia effects it is pretty important to make sure that slamming them down is actually affecting the entire board rather than doing exactly what happened in this game. It kind of looked like the Winota player didn't entirely know that Mons is on and almost entirely creature based deck, but Sisay is almost always a stax/ROL deck that doesn't care about these sorts of effects at all, so three Thalia taxes will do literally nothing except hand him the game. I do really understand that the Winota player had nothing else to do because of the land situation but unfortunately IMO that hand shouldn't of been kept because of it. (I'm a Winota player) Great game though. I freaking love the idea of Godo instead of Void Winnower in NGA - I'm currently playing it and loving the deck. I might give it a try!!
@@Dasquee This ended up being a situation where making it "fun" was more important. the moment called for it. in a tournament game that would have played out differently (: Slamming those thalia effects over and over was not the most optimal play by any means. but getting them all into play was too good to pass on. Bucket list got a checkmark that day (:
This was an educational game on how to tilt Ashani.
you're welcome
@Martin Hansen makes for good entertainment. But admittedly it's easy to tilt ashani.
@@WhoTFareyou2 also very true :D
Hahaha def was!

That is cool. Good luck. Sisay is really fun!
@@cedhtvgameplay3974 I'm loving how modular she is. Being able to cheat out planeswalkers or creatures is so broken!

This channel is OG and has always been enjoyable, but man. Recently the channel has stepped it up quite a bit! Awesome video!
Excited to see that deck with all the rude players at the recent event LOL
I think this game is a good example of how stax can accidentally kingmake opponents.
YES!
As a Winota player, that board state was magical christmas land and makes me smile 😁
brutal game let's see another one with this pod!
Sorry we only recorded one game. Or well 2 but that one was really fast so I will see how I can showcase that one in a good way.

With Great Stax Comes Great Responsibility
I enjoyed Winota memeing
Cool game where people do dumb things, Ashani should not play in this pod lol
Bruh how do you not have the sissay win!! Sakashima!! Niami, teferi
I think I had some combo cards in grave or something don't remeber this game that much anymore. Long time ago now.
Fun game but couldn't honestly understand the Whoopie Goldberg guy
hard to answer. What player are you talking about?

Trust the stax player to make the game unplayable and then lose anyway. Stax is supposed to get you to your wincon, not make the table hate Magic.
