That’s so disappointing to see that friendly check-in agent allow that passenger circumvent the baggage allowance by packing 20kg into one carry on bag! Depending upon class of travel the allowance increases, but there is a maximum per bag due to the safety of others onboard. That unfairly sets up the cabin crew for unnecessary challenges at boarding. It’s way and above the cabin allowance, for one bag. Depending upon the airline the bag can be no heavier than either 8 - 10kg it also won’t fit in the overhead stowage. It’s a real trap with various allowance rules depending upon whether one is travelling to and from the US where it’s X amount of pieces with a good weight allowance, or.all other destinations where it’s weight irrespective of the number of checked items That’s where eTickets bite, the original coupon based tickets clearly showed the weight/price allowance per sector. If all on one continuous journey the applicable allowance gets applied the entire journey irrespective of how many sectors travelled. The rule applied is based on the country the journey originated. So confusing for people not paying attention to the details and can cost a lot of money, especially if there are multiple sectors. Internet reservations and ticketing is so convenient but there are many traps for those unaware.
That might have depended on what was actually inside the bag, for example, essential , medication, baby change and feeding products and equipment or anything else which simply couldn't be put into the hold. We don't know everything.

Take care, safe travels, and have a terrific day wherever in the world you are. Best wishes from down here in Australia! Cheers, Anton
I hate crowds, and I'm terrified of flying. I want to die with both feet on land thanks. But the predicaments these passengers manage to get themselves into are amusing. But don't take your mad out on the agents and staff, they're just doing their jobs.
We need to take a good hard long look at all the service agents down to the tarmac workers and recognize and take hard notice that none of them are miserable, they all always have a smile on their faces, none of them are in poor health like high blood pressure at a young age, none of them are obese and they clearly all exercise before they start working in the mornings, therefore none of them appear to be in poor physical health, and as we all know typically they live well into their 80’s to 90’s and can get around and have a sharper mind then half the Americans in their 50’s. Maybe we need to find out their secret because I have been to at least 15 different airports in the states and the customer service people quite literally will refuse to help you until you get so frustrated with the stupid computer kiosk you want to put your fist through the screen, and even then it’s like pulling teeth from a llama before they will help you. Instead of super cool amusement things to look at or interact with our airports have rip off gift shops, rip off fast food places, and rip off bars. Sad but true. Maybe if we served healthy hot meals like they do we wouldn’t need so many fast foods in the airports. It has always fascinated me that they make just about everything they cook from scratch, they do it so quickly, and keep their kitchen immaculate while doing it, and you can clearly see how every family cooks and loves with their entire being no matter what and a lot of Americans love and cook with conditions and a do as I say not as I do attitude.
Miss Nina Amalina, with the beautiful purple eye shadow, was an absolute gem. Calm without mothering, efficient but reassuring, pleasant but earnest, exceedingly polite without being distant or officious, and above all: empathising of the passenger in distress. Having travelled most of my life as a diplomat's child, I have seen most every culture, and Ms. Amalina is honestly a wonderful exception to the state of virtually all airport customer support staff worldwide, which is de fakto burned out. The absurd level of stress airports impose on travellers and staff alike -- even those not on the autism spectrum like myself -- makes even slight problems, seem like the end of the world. This woman should be commended.
It’s a matter of life choices. I’m 59 and have travelled and lived all over the World 🌎 I have no house, no car, no husband and no children or grandchildren. I chose a different lifestyle.
@@mariawerner8447 I didn't get to make the choices to be able to do that. I couldn't get a decent job in the field I went to school for while this guy was in prison because every background check brought him up. After decades of dealing with the fallout from this other guy's "life choices". I don't have a lot of high maintenance toys and a really small house (some pool houses are larger than my home), the car I have is 20 years old, and a job that pays pretty well now, but the life choices of other people (in Madison and Washington) have reduced my "wealth" to where I only get to watch tv shows of people going on holiday as opposed to getting to have one myself.
Back in 1999 I had to send a box back by ship from Japan containing dirty clothes, gifts from the teachers and students, etc. It took a month. Gotta say, business class on JAL was fantastic! However it made us over fours late because we sat on the tarmac at JFK in our puddle jumper on route to Philly.

Know the allowance for each flight you are taking if it is with more than one airline.
There are also different allowances for travelling DIRECTLY to and from the US (the 'piece' system) and others for anywhere else (the 'weight' system).
That catches a lot of people out. From memory that was the issue in the documentary that I commented about, where the agent made some poor choices.
If you would like to know more or wish to clarify anything I've said, please respond back and I will reply, sooner I would hope than this time!
Maybe share this information with your friends and family when they travel.
Many many people are caught out every day with this subject - everywhere.
The poor check in staff end up by being the 'heat-shield' for people's justifiable anger and frustration over what seems to be unfair and unclear rules.
I hope this has helped in some way, I often wish I could help everyone understand all of the nuances with air travel, but I hope I have at least helped you.
Take care, safe travels, and have a terrific day wherever in the world you are.
Best wishes from down here in Australia!
Cheers, Anton
My husband had that happen to him in Agust. They let us remove somethings for his carry on . So it's very common to get confused about
Singapore is to be admired!
I hate crowds, and I'm terrified of flying. I want to die with both feet on land thanks.
But the predicaments these passengers manage to get themselves into are amusing. But don't take your mad out on the agents and staff, they're just doing their jobs.
I guarantee your corpse won't know the difference
Singapore is an amazing city and this airport is a gorgeous oasis!
looks like a giant clusterfuck to me, just like every asian city on earth.
I can’t understand a word of what the Christmas Tree inspector says! 😀
2:41:40 lol 😂 this line killed me

I flew a few times via Singapore. Really very helpful staff and beautiful airport.
35:57 FYI that is diplomatic Cambodia passport. Moral of the story do not mess with Singapore even you are travelling with Diplomat passport :D
not sure why anyone would want to go to singapore or cambodia in the first place unless they had to for work.
@@Smokey420Greenleaf Singapore is a beautiful country
This woman should be commended.
shes an angel :)
She is a babe.

I don't understand weight limits when all that weight is going in the airplane anyways how does this make sense
I wondered that too. I thought I misunderstood at first.
I can't afford to drive 40mi to the nearest major metropolis, but these guys can flit all over the world. Must be nice.
No shit, right?
Ive been watching these all month, thinking the exact same thing. I don’t have $800 laying around to pay a fine for coggarettes
I think frequent flyers tend to be diplomats or those on business (i.e. their employer pays for it).
It’s a matter of life choices. I’m 59 and have travelled and lived all over the World 🌎 I have no house, no car, no husband and no children or grandchildren. I chose a different lifestyle.
@@mariawerner8447 I didn't get to make the choices to be able to do that. You and I actually have the same surname as well as the guy in my state that did a really bad thing to a little girl and did 10 years for it. He has the exact same name as me (even the middle name) as well as a father with the same name as mine.
My brother was angry when they pulled me and my students from our earlier JAL flight and bumped us up to business class because one of my students had a replica katana in her luggage. Gotta say, business class on JAL was fantastic! However it made us over fours late because we sat on the tarmac at JFK in our puddle jumper on route to Philly.
I sent stuff by third class mail from Japan in 2004 and it took 2, but no one ever took them out of the JP mailbags so I have Japanese mail bags
Only two runways? Did I hear that right? How can they handle that high level of incoming and departures?
Efficiency by air traffic control and the fact of having the runways built spaced enough to handle them as indepedent runways.
when was this filmed?
2015/16 idk but it looks old lmao
there was a sense of sadness in the narrators voice when he found the bird clear for Avion Flue 🤣🤣
59:00 is just wrong. it's flight attendant, not military.
Great documentation!
But watching this dude trying to open his beer is the most embarassing thing i ever saw....
Tong's mother seemed to be so busy on her mobile, she didn' even realise her son was missing!!
1:02:55 yes because that’s such a threat from some grandparents
What's wrong with a vape

Friendly as hell. Get outta line though and you will have your ass handed to you.
Such a great network wish I could be part of something great like this .
Kyle is such a himbo.
why does he say that some of the pilgrims might be saying goodbye for the last time? won't they come back?
Not forever, but before departing 🤣
All Kyle needs to do is take the lady to dinner and then marry her!
Wonder when this was filmed dude had a damn blackberry phone
😂😂😂😂
Arnd 2015
Should do Narita; incredible!
Yes!! Then for fun, they should do a comparison with JFK or LAX and how passengers treat agents and the entire circus, lol…. Granted, yes, they know they’re being recorded but their service is absolutely amazing.
Can someone tell me what's the Social Media of Kyle?
2:34:24
Volcano
Edit THANKS FOR THE LIKES!
56:44 AYO pushback virgin🤔🤔
Kyle's a bit of a plonker. Never ceases to amaze me how "world travelers" think that crossing international borders is the same thing as going down the local pub. And then opening his beer is his highest priority, never mind if he damages airport property. Maybe someone should tell him about Singapore's judicial caning.
49:00 Threat Level: CAKE 🤣
24:20 she might end up paying more for a new bag
My guy has the same kind of crazy ass bad luck as me.
Gen z is doomed if he can’t open the beer . Jesus !!!!
