Salute to the engineers, who developed and saw this through amazing work, well done ladies and gentlemen, well done. Once again all the engineers and workers stay blessed.
Engineering, the life enjoyed today, it is a result of amazing knowledge and true spirit of humanity --- as humans, we must live in peace and harmony and continue to do amazing things, we can't stop.
So many years ago Mayor Daily in Chicago planned to replace O'Hare airport with a brand new airport just one mile off the Chicago Loop in Lake Michigan. The new "island" would be built with the residue of Chicago's trash which would be formed into bricks measuring 40" x 20" x 20". Set in a large rectangle, then filled with sand pumped in from surrounding lake bottom. Eventually the project stalled, amid many complaints of fraud, mismanagement, etc.
Many power plants evaporate water into steam that spins the turbines. That water is distilled. Why aren’t we using that water in combined power and water plants? It seems so obvious but I’ve never heard that explained.
That water is what you see billowing out of chimneys. Its steam. Im convinced that most greenies think its smoke as you see those images frequently in environmental sob stories.
Hoover Dam. About a thousand years ago, our citizens would rather let the government spend their stolen tax dollars on other countries. One day you might wake up.
The Flevopolder is the largest man made island, and in Dubai I think those islands are also larger. Still an incredible technological accomplishment, especially in deep waters.
The Japanese are brilliant! They display such an industrious nature. If any Country is capable of creating its National Defense Japan can and will do it. Strong Work Ethic and their Economy will save them. It is an embarrassment the U.S. spends its Tax Dollars every way but sensibly. Your Comment on Airports is so true. " And yet Putin s threatening to launch nukes periodically over last 2 years, and in late 2023 Russia President Vladimir Putin signed a law withdrawing Russia's ratification of the global treaty banning nuclear weapons tests, And "Today, the risk of global thermonuclear warfare seems like a nearly forgotten nightmare "
It's because dumb people believe that a nuclear power can be defeated - NO, they can't. As the last act of war the nuclear power will lunch their ICBM's in case they are losing the war.

They need to place air ballasts under the base of the island then inflate them to properly stop the sinking of the island. it would not be easy but effective
Its just like Hong Kongs Chep Lap Kok airport, where they levelled an island to make way of the construction, and built a double decker bridge to connect it

Sorry, but the architect has disappointed me... "a bicycle tire?!!" It is a missed opportunity of the greatest kind. Why not shape it the top of a commercial airplane? It has already a side building (a wing) and the bridge to the next Iceland could have been shaped as the second wing. :-)
We must never forget that The Soviets put missiles on Cuba because the US put missiles on Soviet borders first.... Nor should we forget that the US actually put troops on the ground in Russia in the 1920s, along with Britain Australia and other countries..
The U.S. put missiles in Italy and Turkey as a deterrent to Soviet invasion of their NATO allies. Soviet invasion of Western Europe, preventing that invasion, and the ability to respond to and stop that invasion were central to ALL of Europe outside the Soviet Union. The Soviets forced nuclear missiles on Cuba because it was the only land from which it could deploy its limited range missiles to hit all of the U.S. Krushchev's reign was ended shortly after due to the failure of action and to his decision to initiate the crisis.

As usual someone has to jump in and defend Boeing....again. Airbus made this announcement because Boeing has gotten close to testing a full scale demonstrator. This video mentions Boeing's plan for a 737 replacement as a footnote, and aircraft that will almost surely arrive before 2035. Okay. Airbus continues to dominate Boeing in the narrowbody sector, but continues to have its lunch eaten in widebody. But hey, what Airbus fan wants to hear that? Right. I said it before and I'll say it again. Airbus will still be busy delivering a massive backlog when Boeing delivers its first all new narrowbody aircraft since the 757, and Airbus will copy whatever works best about the aircraft to also scramble to build a competitor because nobody will want a re-engined A320neo neo. As usual, we'll see what happens.

Wow very nice Ilove Japan ❤❤❤
Japan was up to this challenge because it's Japan! I respect their ability to say yes, not no.
Just to remind: Project is from the famous Italian architect RENZO PIANO.
Yes and the UK has still done nothing about Heathrow airport just do nothing but speak about it for over 15 years with no action.
