But, I like the option for occasional DTL. Thanks for the review.
Just curious why you get so many of the same tanks? Different colours or just spares? Wouldn’t it be better to get spare glasses? Not much can go wrong with a tank really, just wondering as I know people do that. I just bought one so hope its good never used nautilus coils, hows yours mate?

Off to Dublin for the weekend and taking 2 of these....no brainer for a beater. Very clever from Taifun to introduce those who may not have ventured into high end to the build quality and finish of their products.
I remember just getting into vaping as a newbie and was a totally wickd fan since that was the shop I first seen in my town I visited it weekly. I spend so much money on, mostly, atomizers because it was so easy to ruin them, so fickle, and usually 1/2 of a pack of 5 didnt even work right! Man I was frustrated but that was all I knew at the time I gave them so much money for these bad atomizers and I still think they use them. The improvement and pace of technology is genuinely great and, while there is plenty to worry about regarding pace of technological advancement in other areas of life, vaping has really been great with their improvements in all areas and without the prices increasing. Bought a cheap aspire pockeX and was so impressive for the price, better than my older costlier kits. Moved onto the aspire store. Their selection of vape juices are amazingly tasty and rich. Could do with a few deals though as competitors can outdo them. Was in a shopping centre, Glasgow where I'm from, selling ejuice. £5 for 1 bottle. £18 for 16 bottles. The Nautilus 2 Vaped really well. Even though filling it was a nightmare. Does this have the same type of vape? In know it's same could but different housing.
Hi Todd, thanks for the info on this, I bought one of these a few months ago and was going through coils and liquid so fast (like you said 2 days) and was having to constantly refill it which i didnt have that problem on my old one. I splashed out on this one as it looked well made. I was using 50/50 on a 0.4 coil and that turned out to be a very costly, i double my budget switching to this. Ive since switched to a 70/30 which i add a shot to and seems better but coils still dieing out fast. Going to try lowering the Wattage from the recommended 23-26W to 18-19W as I was using it on 23W and see if that helps. I also bought the larger tank as you have shown to prevent me from filling it up all the time. My feelings on switching to this from an aspire Cleito are not very positive but I love the Tank which I get the feeling is how you feel. Fingers crossed lowering the Wattage even further will improve things. Finally I found the larger plastic tank doesnt screw all the way down anymore on either side which is a shame but it still works ok, this may have been my fault though after trying multiple liquids to find one I liked and having to clean it. all the best! Subscribed! Stay Safe.
The best way to extend your coil life is to switch to unflavored eLiquid. Maybe that doesn't sound appealing to you. But, don't knock it unless you've tried it.
Hi Smart451cab, Funny you say this, as this is exactly what I have done. Im now using the large shot liquids and adding the Nicotine myself. You are 100% correct as its now going alot further and im enjoying the taste more. I was going to ditch the setup but now im sticking with it. Stay Safe.
Nice review. It has similarities to the Triton Mini tank that I still use (discontinued now) which imo is better than any Nautilus tank Aspire has made. I've been wondering what I might use as a successor and this looks to be it. The only cons look to be the 24mm diameter which may overhang on some mods and the drip tip isn't the best looking but that's easy to swap. I never use a high VG liquid in any Nautilus BVC or Triton mini coil, they just don't like it.
I totally agree. I have the Triton Mini and just forgotten about it. Until a couple a months ago and I realized how good it really is. And that was when I got the GT. The Triton Mini is probably the most underestimated tank of all time. It took me a new GT tank to realize that. Now it sits proudly on top of a Teslacigs punk mod, both in copper and all three of us is just feeling fine...
Other than it being made in China I would call that a high end looking tank. Aspire has really been on their A game. I find myself vaping the 1.6 ohm coils at 15 watts. They do have a hard time keeping up sometimes but I'm using a 70/30. Great review as always.
Good to see you changed your mind on the review 😁. Looks like a fantastic beater ( I dont feel like rewicking today ) Tank. Thanks for the review Mark 🙂.
Never heard of breaking in a coil but whenever I vaped at 25W I always have the burn flavour... What W should it be set at and for how long in order to bed in?
In case anyone is interested a mini version of this tank is available with a 22mm diameter so no overlapping issue on mods. Btw a PSU extension tube is available for both the GT and the mini so you can blow a raspberry at TPD's 2ml limit.
Had a original Nautilus when they 1st came out , first coils for it was same look but horizontal coil then the BVC coil appeared , think they've been on the go since Guy Fawkes was vaping . Nice review.
Is really like it,I tried a friend's and In my opinion it's not a direct lung tank, a very very tight soft direct lung at best, as a medium to higher wattage vaper (60/100) I killed a mesh coil in two hours using standard 70/30 vg pg juice, if they brought a direct lung version out to retail I'd be buying a silver and gun metal for myself and a couple of gold ones for the Mrs, shame it's a mouth to lung only. A direct lung version at around fourty to fifty Watts, COME ON ASPIRE, READ MY COMMENT AND MAKE US DIRECT LUNG PEOPLE HAPPY.
Oleysn Gedeysn - I see you wearing a suit in your pic, so I might deduce that you are a little more we’ll off than the average joe. That being said, I do just fine. But I do have priorities and dumping money into vape gear that I might not like is not one of them. There’s been plenty of rta’s throughout the years that have received great reviews. Unfortunately, just like everything else in life, it’s all subjective and not everyone likes the same thing. If I had the option of trying a tank before purchasing it, and it was one of the best, then sure it would be worth the money. But tossing down over $100 just to find out if I like it doesn’t sound very tempting. Even if you are suggesting it. Lol.
matt shanks don't get me wrong, I always try to test an atty before I spend the money. There is so much vape gear out there that it's important to test the stuff before buying it. And of course not every atty made by the Taifun guys will suit your style of vaping. You have to find out which of these is the best for you. I only said that the atties they made (and the three of them I own - GT3, GT4 and GTR) are worth the price
Thank you mr.Todd (why are you still not a “Sir”??) for a nice rveview. I love my Taifun GTR, and since i always use 50/50 i will definitely try this one out. Now... iam old and don’t know anything about hashtags and how that wirks, but #GIVE ME THAT MOD!. 😉

The real deal with the Kabuki was that you got the short vapour path of the Nautilus Mini with nearly double the liquid capacity. Yes, it was expensive for what it was (assuming you bought the authentic version), but that's where the flavour raves were coming from. That and a bit of the "it cost more so it must be better" placebo effect, I'd imagine. Also, it didn't look like Victorian-era lab equipment and weighed six or seven stone.

Really love mine! Definitely takes the place of the kabuki tank. Awesome review bro 🍻
Great honest review as always mate thank you for sharing.
The change in the airflow gives you a different kind of vape to the nautilus og or the nautilus mini
Why only 24mm 😭😭
Would have loved to run this in a Xvostick
Great review Mr T i do love my Nautilus GT keep up the good work
Hopefully aspire and taifun will make an affordable rta. Fingers crossed.
that would be nice
matt shanks Why? Only price wise? Smokerstore did a lot of amazing RTAs already mate. 👌🏻
All of them are worth the price
Oleysn Gedeysn - my statement stands. I don’t have a taifun testing station readily available. So until the price is lower, I’m not rolling the dice.
Excellent review.
Nice review.im still using k3 tank.will get this tank and finally upgrade my old k3
And the Nautilus GT mini (22mm) performs even ("a click") better!
Won't fit on my Pico 75's. Boooooo! Good review as always Mark.
What was the opening audio sample from?????????!!
From a fav music track, Primal Scream - Loaded but that is sampled from a 1996 film called Wild Angels.
Great review Mark 👍
My base isn’t unscrewing
Great review Mr 👏👏👏
That is a very nice looking device indeed 👌👌

i prefer the aspire triton mini coils, give me constant results.
Sadly, also 2Ml in Denmark.. Thanks for the review
Thanks for watching :)
Good review Mark.
Thank you as always :)
its one good looking tank. but man i wish they would make a 22mm version. Only cause im selfish and 90% of my mods on fit 22mm lol
The yellow drip tip though.
Pity they Don't have a 22mm diameter version
I'll wait till the RBA comes out
Nautilus RBA heads have been out for years.
@@ToddsReviews Damn. Then this is a pass for me. Great video as always Todd.
@@ToddsReviews Todd, which RBA head is compatible with this particular tank if you don't mind me asking?
So nice, I like that a lot
to bad they don't make an RBA head.
Been around for years, not sure you can get them now but they had them like 4 or 5 years ago 😁
@@ToddsReviews I did not know that. I quit smoking 5 years ago and did not get into the nautilus until 3 yrs ago. I'll have to go looking. Thanks for the info.
Hey 1st here, WOW!😎
