    Regarding the wicking and heavy VG, remember this is based on the included coils, it could be that other Nautilus coils will in fact work better with heavy VG but as always, start off with a low wattage then adjust to taste.

    I'm using this with the 1.6 at 12 watts 80/20 high VG. I'm getting better flavor than any other tank that used these coils. I've owned the Kabuki and most stock Nautilus. No other has wicked high VG so I'm very pleased. Personally I think the in the coil direct with o ring aid suction/wicking. And the small dished end helps with flavor. Of course it is subjective but I'm loving it. Coil life I can't attest to I'm only at four days but it hasn't dropped yet. I'm a bit of a kayfun snob and I'm impressed, cheers

    14 months later: I've been using the Nautilus 5ml for years, and have a stockpile of a dozen of them in preparation for the US vape ban. Somehow, in my satisfaction, I overlooked the GT until recently. It was pretty much your video that got me off the fence and prompted me to order four of the GTs, which will be delivered in a day or so.
    I'm primarily MTL and heavy on the PG. But, I like the option for occasional DTL.
    Thanks for the review.

      Just curious why you get so many of the same tanks? Different colours or just spares? Wouldn’t it be better to get spare glasses? Not much can go wrong with a tank really, just wondering as I know people do that. I just bought one so hope its good never used nautilus coils, hows yours mate?

    • @Vector_Ze
      @Vector_Ze 3 роки тому

      @@richardlong2094 Sorry I took a month to reply. I didn't get a notification apparently, but just stumbled back on this video.
      They're spares, I'm stocked up for decades without making another purchase. Not worried about the glass, since I have the stainless steel replacements and probably a dozen of the unused original glass. But, the tanks themselves aren't bullet proof...especially the base part. A drop while attached to a heavy mod has done in more of these tanks than I like to admit. But no glass to break! :-)
      Facing the uncertain future of challenges to buying online here in the USA, I pretty much built a stockpile that should last me a lifetime. I've been using the original Aspire Nautilus since its debut and have a collection of the ones that have failed me over the years (primarily due to my clumsiness). Not sure why I've kept the dead ones really, but it has helped me get a rough idea of how long they last (last ME), and it comes out to a couple years apiece.
      I'm probably going to die with a ton of gear left behind unless I live to a hundred. That includes mods, tanks, coils, nicotine...everything except batteries and liquid, which will be available even if the USA bans the devices altogether. It's not all Aspire stuff, but among my stash are a couple hundred of the Nautilus coils. I've got three different flavors of Nautilus tanks (original, GT and 2S) and they all use the same coils, one of the reasons I'm so invested in them.
      I vape mostly unflavored PG & Nicotine.
      I switched to vaping nearly a dozen years ago. Already most of my gear is old school. So, a decade from now I'll be the eccentric old man with the antique vape gear, heh. Works for me!

      @@Vector_Ze can you suggest me which nautilus to buy?I've tried them before with 1.6 and 1.8ohm coils and they are excellent for mtl vaping.I'm trying to decide between nautilus gt, gt mini and nautilus 3...

    • @Vector_Ze
      @Vector_Ze 2 роки тому

      @@djurovic99 I've never tried the Nautilus 3. It's sure a good thing the 'drip' tip is replaceable though. I hate the trend to sucking on a tailpipe with the wide bores that are in vogue. I guess that's directed to DTL vapers, so it's odd that a MTL tank would ship with a wide bore tip installed.
      Considering the stockpile of original Nautilus and GTs I have on hand, I'll likely never buy one. In fact, if I was to buy another tank today I think it would be the Innokin Zenith Pro, which I really like! The only drawback there is my huge investment in Nautilus atomizers and I'd need to buy more coils for the Zenith Pro...but, like the Nautilus atomizers Z-coils are compatible with a whole line of tanks.
      If I were buying a Nautilus today, I'd be torn between the GT and the original 5ml tank, but I'd probably go with the original. It lacks the convenience of top fill, but the 5ml capacity means it's an all-day vape without refilling. And, I have a handful of the stainless steel glass replacements on hand for them.
      I appreciate your asking my opinion, for what little it's worth. Yeah, if buying today it would be either the original full size Nautilus or the Innokin Zenith Pro.
      But, you might prefer the GT if tank capacity isn't as much an issue as the convenience of top fill. For what it's worth, Nautilus atomizers are available all the way down to 0.4 ohm, though that's a bit too low for my taste, I have tried them.

    I used Nautilus BVC coils for years and loved them! I found better flavor and vapor production from the Innokin plex 3D coils a few years ago and never looked back. This review is spot on. The coils are indeed the key. The tank is just "new clothes" and does look really nice!. Thanks for posting!

    I remember just getting into vaping as a newbie and was a totally wickd fan since that was the shop I first seen in my town I visited it weekly. I spend so much money on, mostly, atomizers because it was so easy to ruin them, so fickle, and usually 1/2 of a pack of 5 didnt even work right! Man I was frustrated but that was all I knew at the time I gave them so much money for these bad atomizers and I still think they use them.
    I even spent £30 on an Odessey tank special, spoiled by a white "totally wickd" circle logo on top of the stainless steel tank, they had with 5 year guarentee, and comparing that to this, this is like double the price for cheaper nowadays. The improvement and pace of technology is genuinely great and, while there is plenty to worry about regarding pace of technological advancement in other areas of life, vaping has really been great with their improvements in all areas and without the prices increasing. You get much more for what you pay than you used to 5 years ago.
    I use this Nautilis GT tank with my mod I got from, joyetech I think, just a small black box, circle button at top, rectangle screen can show clockface on standby, 2 buttons below, and below that the usb charger connection. I can't find the name for my mod anymore. Not a sign on the box, inside behind the battery, its impressive actually that there are no logos.
    This tank sits on top fine but the circle sticks out a bit, but its fine.
    So using Aspire these days. Bought a cheap aspire pockeX and was so impressive for the price, better than my older costlier kits. Moved onto the aspire store. Their selection of vape juices are amazingly tasty and rich. Could do with a few deals though as competitors can outdo them.
    Was in a shopping centre, Glasgow where I'm from, selling ejuice. £5 for 1 bottle. £18 for 16 bottles. And I'm glad too see through this because that one bottle of ejuice HAZARD FLAVOURS tutti fruity was so sicking just so wrong tasting I dumped that out as soon as I got home, only bought a bottle due to running dry while out.
    Also have Liberty Flights which are hellova lot better than that tutti fruity, especially like the ice blueberry at 1.2%, but now I'm on 1.8% I like the berry nice flavours.
    But even these do not compare to my current ejuice from aspires site, VAMPIRE VAPE. The Vamp Toes like vimto flavoured is so pleasant and pinkman (so many flavours named after heisenberg all over different shops! All taste similar). Have DEKANG blueberry which havent tried yet but is supposedly been voted best in the world brand years ago, under a different name.
    What are your current favourite ejuice flavours? You probably use different types from the normal 50/50 pgvg mix for normal atomizers. 0.7 ohms works nice for me nice strength and hit. Tried 1.5 ohms like I used to use and doesn't have the same strength and hit effect of the nicotine so don't bother with them. Remember trying the 0.4 ohms and it was so strong a nicotine hit couldnt even taste the juice. But want to give it a try. Ideally I need to cut down to 1.2 and just use 1.8 percent for some days of the week for an extra nicotine boost. I know there is the salt nickle with 10-20% nicotine. Feeling constant jitteriness due to the higher dosages at the moment.
    Trying out a newer product out in Glasgow at the moment, nicotine pouches, not SNUS but just packets of nicotine with flavour put on the upper lip for a different and stronger type of nicotine experience. NORDIC SPIRIT is the name. Tried the mint flavour and stronger Wideberry flavour. I use them when I need that extra boost other than coffee etc. Interesting new product. SNUS as you may know is used across Scandanavia Sweden etc at tobacoo cut product put on the upper lip, not compared to this just nicotine.
    Feel like I've got a solid vape set up for a good few years anyway. Depends if I continue to use nicotine or not. I love the start after a break, feels like a clean stimulant, then at 1.8% 100ml or 18mg of nicotine content.
    After a while starts to get agitating. Lower the nictoine content, disuse, then start again months later but the tolerance rises so quickly within days to a week! Still pleasurable. And the flavours! The vapour!

      And with the banning of vaping on my university campus... Give them an inch take a mile is worryingly true these days. I guess it discourages nicotine use but hey getting drunk in the university bar is ayy okayy! Everyone has their vices and some vapour blasted in someones face may be unpleasant but confiscating the whole item, disciplinary on your record, would piss me off so much I'd probably end up smoking fags in anger. lol too much but yeh,

    With all of the coils that are geared more towards MTL it's a good idea to use the thinnest liquids you can find. They just don't wick the thicker liquids fast enough to keep up.

    The real deal with the Kabuki was that you got the short vapour path of the Nautilus Mini with nearly double the liquid capacity. Yes, it was expensive for what it was (assuming you bought the authentic version), but that's where the flavour raves were coming from. That and a bit of the "it cost more so it must be better" placebo effect, I'd imagine. Also, it didn't look like Victorian-era lab equipment and weighed six or seven stone.
    This GT looks to be the same sort of thing, outside of the 2ml zone at least - short and narrow chimney, decent capacity, and pretty into the bargain. (And for those who always have flooding problems, you can bottom fill it if that floats your boat.) I'm not much of a clearo user myself, but I'll probably be giving a few of these away as it's cheap enough and you can practically get coils at the pet store.

    Hi Todd, thanks for the info on this, I bought one of these a few months ago and was going through coils and liquid so fast (like you said 2 days) and was having to constantly refill it which i didnt have that problem on my old one. I splashed out on this one as it looked well made. I was using 50/50 on a 0.4 coil and that turned out to be a very costly, i double my budget switching to this. Ive since switched to a 70/30 which i add a shot to and seems better but coils still dieing out fast. Going to try lowering the Wattage from the recommended 23-26W to 18-19W as I was using it on 23W and see if that helps. I also bought the larger tank as you have shown to prevent me from filling it up all the time. My feelings on switching to this from an aspire Cleito are not very positive but I love the Tank which I get the feeling is how you feel. Fingers crossed lowering the Wattage even further will improve things. Finally I found the larger plastic tank doesnt screw all the way down anymore on either side which is a shame but it still works ok, this may have been my fault though after trying multiple liquids to find one I liked and having to clean it.
    all the best! Subscribed!
    Stay Safe.

    Nice review. It has similarities to the Triton Mini tank that I still use (discontinued now) which imo is better than any Nautilus tank Aspire has made. I've been wondering what I might use as a successor and this looks to be it. The only cons look to be the 24mm diameter which may overhang on some mods and the drip tip isn't the best looking but that's easy to swap. I never use a high VG liquid in any Nautilus BVC or Triton mini coil, they just don't like it.

    • @frankeberhardt
      @frankeberhardt 4 роки тому

      I totally agree. I have the Triton Mini and just forgotten about it. Until a couple a months ago and I realized how good it really is. And that was when I got the GT. The Triton Mini is probably the most underestimated tank of all time. It took me a new GT tank to realize that. Now it sits proudly on top of a Teslacigs punk mod, both in copper and all three of us is just feeling fine...

      Oleysn Gedeysn - I see you wearing a suit in your pic, so I might deduce that you are a little more we’ll off than the average joe. That being said, I do just fine. But I do have priorities and dumping money into vape gear that I might not like is not one of them. There’s been plenty of rta’s throughout the years that have received great reviews. Unfortunately, just like everything else in life, it’s all subjective and not everyone likes the same thing. If I had the option of trying a tank before purchasing it, and it was one of the best, then sure it would be worth the money. But tossing down over $100 just to find out if I like it doesn’t sound very tempting. Even if you are suggesting it. Lol.

      matt shanks don't get me wrong, I always try to test an atty before I spend the money. There is so much vape gear out there that it's important to test the stuff before buying it.
      And of course not every atty made by the Taifun guys will suit your style of vaping. You have to find out which of these is the best for you. I only said that the atties they made (and the three of them I own - GT3, GT4 and GTR) are worth the price
