Excellent review this is my favourite tank and ive only got the clone version, i know shame on me! but the original is on my christmas list for sure, ive had this for 3 or 4 months and i love everything about it the filling port the simplicity, looks but most of all the flavour is the best ive experienced on a single coil. Amazing!!!
Funny that this came out today since I built and am vaping my GT4 for the first time in a while, very similar decks in how the af hits the coil. Great review Mr.Todd!

Definitly my favorite RDTA this year! Good to see you are enjoying it aswell :) As a comparison with the default air disks the airflow is a bit more restrictive than the default GTIV airflow and with no inserts installed it is a bit more open than the GTIV with open draw post. If you do wanna purchase more restrictive air disks they are sadly 11€ per insert NOT per set at least here in germany. I personally really like the 3x1.5mm or the 3x1.2mm for a nice RDL vape. Edit: As for the liquid spilling into the airflow while filling. I recommend putting cotton around the o-ring the way they show it in the manual. It really helps with that and condensation around the afc in general.
Great review, I'm glad you finally got your hands on it! Only tiny little feedback is the air disks are sold per disk, not a pair, so you can mix and match.....it becomes quite costly to buy a variety of them to try out.
Love Taifun from GTv2 V3 with 2mm peak insert and now recently the 4s with MTL + post I got last week from someone in Spain, this might be by next and last, if I can get the extended tank kits. Thank you

Great review Todd. I notice you’re lifting your coil slightly, as opposed to pushing the coiling rod down into the crescent cut outs on the deck. I’ve been struggling getting a flavourful vape (it’s in the classifieds at the moment through frustration), as the top cap gets very very hot - vaped between 18w & 28w, depending on wire and air disc. The manual says to push the coil down, which I’ve been doing. I’m hoping lifting it to the top of the posts will improve things 🤞🏼
Same as the GT4 for me, got more flavour lifting it up rather than down as recommended. Zero issues with hot top cap and I really do love this tank. Hope you find your sweet spot with this one Leon.
I have it though i love the taste and draw it can provide it doesnt feel intuitive to use and kinda overengineered. And the odds of setting airflow and things correctly keeps me from really using it a lot.
I love the design, but my "vape budget hands" are telling me hold out for the new Haar, in block. :) But the GX looks like a SpaceX spaceship..and that floats my addled boat a bunch.
For me it’s garbage, cannot get the thing to keep up with wicking whatsoever. Watched so many reviews and built/wicked it numerous times, took the little screw out too. Five pulls and it’s completely dry and tasting burnt, have to leave it to re-soak some liquid. Don’t have much prior experience of these, maybe its supposed to just do a few pulls and break - that’s no good to me though 🤷♂️

Little hint. If you swap the airdisks, it is best to tuck your cotton back on the cables afterwards, or you can have wickingproblems.

Got my hands on the DLC version. Tryin it out now. Very smooth airflow and tasty. Not sure if I got the wicking down 100% but so far Im liking it
