You need this for mapping !

In this tutorial we look at the spout plugin for After effects and how to use it for realtime video mapping.
You will need: Content, a projector, a theatre, touchdesigner, after effects and a new computer.
Mapping and content creation are difficult to do together if You don't have a server inbetween - or are they? Because there is a very simple solution that uses adobe after effects, touchdesigner and a small but great helper by Ben Kuper:

Awesome! There’s also an NDI version of this for After Effects which works on win and mac to run this across multiple computers if needed!

Why not do this in after effects with corner pin plugin?

Then you would have to find a way to display a cornerpinned comp on the metal secondary preview without it snapping back and forth permanently. Or you can't work on a plain undistorted comp.

I've never tried it with AE. But with this Touchdesigner method you might be able.

Not me. But maybe that's a good question on GitHub.
I would think that the siphon window server might do a trick.

Yes there is a syphon version of this for Mac. I think it’s called aesyphon
