    i suffer from whiplash more than a year and this actually helped me more than upper neck exercises it doesnt make sense but i felt very big relief

    I have a right thoracic curve am 70 years old in good physical shape and have just discovered yoga for scoliosis. Thank you for your terrific instruction.

    z it helpful in improving kyphosis along wd scoliosis.... when back blades are jutting out badly

    Hi Christine.Do you think by doing your yoga exercise it is possible to reduce curve? What about dr fisherman poses? Have you reduce your curve?

      I have certainly stabilized my curve and know many people that have actually reduced their curvature. I incorporate Dr Fishman's poses in my programmes but don't limit it to these particular poses as I believe we are more than scoliosis and the overall aim is to feel good in our bodies regardless of the degree of our curves.     i have left sholder higher than right ...is that mean i have left thoracic scoliosis?

      nona abdullah not necessarily. Only an xray will tell you exactly. Try the adams forward bend test if you can’t get an xray done. Have you been diagnosed by a doctor?

    Hi i was diagnosed of dextrocoliosis of the thoracic spine 14⁰. Is it bad or progressive? And another question is there any proper way of how i should be sleeping correctly? Thank you

    Is it possible to correct 80% curve by exercise,or yoga?

      you mean 80 degree? That would be very unlikely. You might be able to achieve some improvement but you will really have to get some very targeted exercises.

      by the way, I was diagnosed with 18° curve at the age of 11. and now I am 29 y/o. Can it be corrected doing this yoga poses?

      You can certainly improve your posture! The best approach would be to work with someone 1:1 to be able to tailor the practice to your specific needs!

    I have osteoporosis but right shoulder inbalance and my spine is curve too, and my right hip also should I do this yoga? Is it safe? ?

      Yoga is safe as long as you listen to any signals from your body. In the beginning some things might be uncomfortable so you just do a little at a time. After a while it becomes easier and then you can build it up. Yoga should never be painful however!
