Thank you so so much! I have the same type of curve as you (right thoratic and left lumber) and I found many of your videos helpful! I am 14 years old. I recently discovered a 30° lumbar curve and 20° thoratic. I really hope my scoliosis improves. I tried the cushion while sitting pose and I immediately feel the pressure shifting to my right side. My physical therapist taught me the pose with the bolster and personally, I like to put on a TV show while laying in that position so it keeps me there longer.
I have scoliosis since a kid, and I always have a pain on my left side under my rib cage, I have done CT’s scans and they don’t find anything, I just wonder if it’s my scoliosis. I work at home and I am seating 10 hours a day and my body usually tends to go to the left , never to the right. I fallow you directions and it’s looks like I have left lumbar. Foot to the left, left side hip, right shoulder higher. Thanks 🙏🏻 fir this great information
thank you, but have you ever experienced a sore spot at bottom end of ribs? I'm short-waisted so I have had soreness, while doing this under a chiropractor's care during a 2-week period. I'm afraid to try this again. BTW, I'm 58 y.o. Thanks
Maybe the bolster was too high. If the muscles have been compressed for a long period of time and then open too quickly it can be too much. You could try a smaller bolster or cushion. Also small movements like cat cow might be good before and after to loosen up the muscles a bit more.
When you say "left" lumbar scoliosis, do you mean Levoscoliosis? My curvature is to the left (Levoscoliosis) and I wonder what leg is shorter due to this.
lumbar levoscoliosis - spine is bends towards the left and a convex line is longer at the outwards than inwards - thus right leg will be shorter and left leg longer. i recommend scoliosis activity suit.
Good evening....I am from trinidad and have scoliosis.....I got an apointment with physiotherapy two months from now at the hospital...I got my spine x-rayed but I can't figure out what exercise to do in order to start straightening the spine and minimizing the lower back pain. The curve is in the lumbar area. Can you help me with this?
@@DharmicKarn No, you cant.. when you fix your scoliosis fully you are likely to get back to like 1 inch or 2 up.. There is not such thing as exercise for growth but you can try doing basketball or volleyball

Is pushups helful in scolosis ???
it depends! Upper body strength is good.
Why don't you make a clear video that what is left lumbar, right lumbar and same thing for thoracic as well?
If you look through my UA-cam library you will find all of those. If there is anything missing let me know :-)

is it levoscoliosis or dextroscoliosis? Exercise is different for both types of curve
Good morning...the apex is on my low right.
Lumbar area
I can email my x ray for your perusal. Thanks
Can you please suggest me some yoga's from which I can increase my height in scoliosis
My age is 16years and I'm only 5.1feet
yoga will not help you grow taller but you can certainly improve your posture!
