Eddie Vedder Cover - Hard Sun + Guitar Solo!

Here's a cover of a song that I always felt had such a cool vibe and melody. Penned by Gord Peterson (Inddio), it was also famously covered by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.
To add my own thing to it, I decided to rip a guitar solo out at the end to spice it up a bit.
Credit also to my 15 year old daughter who sang the harmony, but didn't want to appear in the video ;)

Thanks. It's funny you say that because over the years, the singers who influenced my style have been wildly diverse - everything from old school crooners to modern rockers to pop singers. Over time, all of them have been woven into the fabric of my own voice. That's what I love about music - we each create our own personal style.

Thanks for the comment - I actually had the whole thing done without a solo originally, but after listening back, I felt it was missing something...so went back and added a guitar solo and felt it added my own personality to it. Cheers!

Correct! The video title was meant to imply that it’s a cover stylistically similar to how Eddie covered it. The description section gives more detail about songwriter Gord Peterson and that Eddie covered it.
I like both Inddio version and Eddies versions.
