My cover of Neil Diamonds Morningside from his Moods album. This was the last track on side 2, but a real sweet but melancholy gem of a song.
I tried to keep the 'vintage' sounding vibe as best as I could to keep that warm feeling the song should have.

Here's a cover of a song that I always felt had such a cool vibe and melody. Penned by Gord Peterson (Inddio), it was also famously covered by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. To add my own thing to it, I decided to rip a guitar solo out at the end to spice it up a bit. My dad has always loved this song and often asked me if I could do a cover of it. This one is an instrumental - originally released by Fleetwood Mac way back in 1968. Peter Green played this soulfully, so my goal was to capture the true essence of that melancholy vibe against a touch more modernized sound. Hope you like it.

8/4/24 - Ah... Toys in the Attic. I listened to this album on my Mom and Dad's Sears stereo when it came out (I was 14). It's my fave Aerosmith album. You did a nice cover of Sweet Emotion. A very nice cover. I just came over from your Neil Diamond "Play Me" vid. You did a really nice job there too. Guitar player here. Fifty years (I'm 63). I have a pretty good ear! You're pretty good!
