i haven’t used these headphones in years because i had no tools to solve this issue, but you saved me a lot of time with this fix, i got it within 2 min of trying!!
Thanks! Your video was extremely useful. I watched another guy show it and he took the battery cover off. You don't need to do that to fix them. Appreciate it! 😋
Thank you! I've done the paper trick before but had no idea which area to stick it in. I was able to get sound by placing it randomly but the slot you suggested rebalanced the audio including the noise canceling. Thanks for the save!
Thank you for the information, you are 100% correct. The paper didn't work for me (Operator error) but I was able to wedge a couple of thin slices of foam where you said to put the wedge and my right side is working perfect again. Thank you again for the good instruction.
Thank you, had to stick it in the second slot rather than the first slot for mine but worked great! Saved me buying a new pair, maybe I’ll get another 3 1/2 years out of them now!
I'm a senior electronic maintenance engineer and I have used similar fixes if the print has bad solderings or so and I am in a hurry. Thanks for telling where the fault is. It may be slightly challenging to solder the ribbon cable too. But it that works it's OK to use this method to fix your own phones. But if you sell them it would be nice to telk the buyer that you fixed it by this method. 😅
For those curious why this works, my guess is that the paper prevents the diaphragm from pressing against the casing, allowing it to vibrate freely again
No way this actually worked for me, I watched dozens of vids and the least technical was the one that worked.

I was ready to open up the headphone to get it fixed but then I came across this video and it worked!

Dumb question, but what is this actually fixing? Bad driver? Soldering connection coming undone?

Fixed exactly are you described. Maybe on the second slot instead. Just jam a folded piece of paper to make better contact and save yourself $250.
I'm glad I could save you some cash.
Thank you boss🙏🏼
