Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. Yes, I ended up upgrading the bearings in this to some quieter ones. If you wanted to spend the money you can buy bearings designed for low-noise environments, and it would make it much quieter.
Thanks! I appreciate that. Yes, more videos coming soon hopefully. For the strap it is just a braided nylon flat rope, I think normally used for supporting young trees.
Yeah, the bearings I used were the main cause of the noise. I got them from the discount bin at my local hardware store. A few months after I made the video I replaced the bearings with higher quality ones. It made a big difference. I encourage you to try and put something together, it doesn't have to be as complicated as mine 🤪.
What size are the barings
Best DIY build i seen so far, very good quality result. Do you think there are any different bearings that are less noisy?

Fantastic
It's late but please send specs to build.
Hi, unfortunately I don't have any specs or plans for it. I wish you the best of luck if you decide to build one for yourself.
Dang! I was hoping it would be something I could do. Pretty cool nonetheless. A bit noisy and the Dremel was like going to the dentist! Eeeeek.
