It's unfair. No one can beat Jerry Lee in any version of any song :) I'm a huge fan and I first heard this from Jerry Lee. A song by the Great Silver Fox Charlie Rich, piano blues, rock & jazz legend, another all-time favorite of mine.
Pretty good version, but backing at times too loud. Sheryl still sounds like a Country singer though, not a Blues singer. Jerry Lee is uniquely the one who turns his Country songs into Blues, crossing the Country/Blues lines effortlessly. Still, Sheryl is a good singer and well worth a listen.
Great job Sheryl. CHARLIE RICH and JERRY LEE LEWIS (still standing strong at age 84) would be proud.
