I enjoy so much your updates, Wade. Thanks again for splitting it into shorter parts. I love the Bc Richard Mueller. It's really a beauty, and it's a pity there aren't many of these around anymore. You should consider growing this into a big specimen and dividing it often, and propagating as much as you can, so this cross will not disappear with time. You have so many beautiful cattleyas and encyclias in bloom. That cattleya skinneri alba is beautiful. Maybe the variety you meant whose flowers are nice and flat is c. skinneri 'Heiti Jacobs' FCC/AOS? I have one and it's in bloom right now. But I had some trouble with this plant in the summer, and it lost some leaves due to sunburn and/or draft, so the newest pseudobulb is smaller than the older ones, and the blooms are smaller than they could have been. But still, they have a gorgeous lavender color, that is very vibrant and it seems to glow a if as the blooms had a light of their own. The blooms opened quite a lot, and the sepals have turned all very much backwards (more than it should normally do). It's a beautiful plant. I showed it in my previous video (entitled "April 2016 Orchid Update, the good and the bad" ). The camera changes the color a little, and in the videos it looks bluer than it is. It's pinker than that. Of all my cattleyas, it's the one with the strongest and more vibrant color. I must try to grow it into a huge specimen size, because I can only imagine what a stunning beauty it could be with lots of spikes and blooms.

Is a collection complete without Apple Blossom? - I don't think so! I have one and will get more so that I can extend the blooming period. For me, it's just a MUST HAVE.

Great video. At about 8:52 you refer to the Cattleya as Blc Charmed Life. However, when I visit Sunset Valley, that plant is totally yellow with a red lip and not lavendar like the video. Sunset also do not describe it as being scented. I was wondering if you could clarify?

This is a seed grown plant and there is variability from one plant to another (mine is from Fred too).

@@wadesorchids7219 Could he have labeled it wrong? The parent plant looks like yours. Rhyncattleanthe Izumi Charm

Also to the left of the plant at 2:25, is that a Lou sneary or a lou sneary crossed back to rhynchostylis?

My Apple Blossom is variety 'Nora'. Yours will be slightly different from mine. 'Lemon Pie' is a very nice clone though. You'll enjoy it!
