City should fund grade schools with after school art and music, and some sports programs, that would be more beneficial for kids and their parents, let alone their physical and mental health
I truly don’t understand San Diegans and their fight to keep away from change. They complain about keeping “historical” buildings. Yet, know nothing ab out what that entails. Once something is deemed historical there’s limited renovations that can take place to it, who tf wants to purchase something they can’t change the way they like. Plus if no one buys it it’ll sit and decay, then people complain to the city about maintaining something they fought to keep from being purchased or torn down. Similarly, people complain about the cost of living, but fight to keep new housing from being built. I truly don’t get what these people want! You buy it, maintain it and do what you want with it.
…okay, all things considered the fastest and best solution for the homeless is: charge them with vagrancy, then incarcerate them…while in jail they get 3 hots, a cot and access to medical, psychological and social services…plus free cable
I love this news reporting of stories that inspire, inform, and unite the community. Please do more of this kind of news.
Wait 8000 more like 80000 just in the downtown area.
