I don't go out to bars and restaurants anymore it's too expensive and rent Is killing me.
89% of nothing is nothing. SD has been a boom/bust town since the 1870s. DTSD is deserted but for street drug bums. Restaurants can't survive beyond the first year of free rent given them by the developers. The only night life has forever been SDSU students partying in the Gaslamp. Baseball hats everywhere.
Hmm I live DT and while it’s not as booming as it was prepandemic, it’s definitely busier now than it has been the past couple years. There’s a resurgence.
