@@DrewElia of course bro, im sure a handful of people got it. Well all the dudes around the pizza table will have gotten it lol and now everyone but those people are not getting it by this comment…or maybe they did 😝
If they had option for extended version (looks too short in the rear) and having more colour would be great. If they could improve the design, that'd be nice also.
That's dope and the sound is epic. I gotta find some one in NYC that can do this work in the future lol. Seems like an upgrade I'll be doing eventually. Quick change is always a welcome.

Yeah, it’s not tooooo complicated but you do have to have some extra tools to get some parts apart from your original set up. I love them and yes they do look cool!
im between this or swapping everything for boardnamics trucks on my hurricane and putting M1s on it. Cant do anything right now though as my my receiver decided to kill itself.
I want to get Meepo Hurricane and want double kingpin I also want to not get speed wobbles like I see a lot of people crashing on youtube. can I just replace the bushings with harder ones and tighten them as far as I can and still have decent turning but get rid of speed wobbles??? what would you do>? Thank you: ) p.s. I am 240lbs
I have a hurricane. Harder barrel shaped bushings from a good brand, like riptide, will definitely help. But honestly, if you wanna avoid speed wobbles, get a board with traditional kingpin trucks. DKP trucks are better for sliding and carving.
So bushing set up will 💯 help you in reducing speed wobble but not completely eliminate it, you need to be confident in your riding ability and learn how the board feels under your feet! I suggest getting one, and just enjoy slow pace riding before you take off!
I’m not sure, it does fit the BC2/BC3 but I don’t know if the velar will use the same truck system? Omni will update their website once they get it available
@@DrewElia for it being my first esk8, i feel like once i am comfortable and good enough where i might be able to sell it later on and get something bigger(range). Do you think the boutique boards hold their values better than overseas boards? Thats my hope.
I’m not sure you’ll have clearance from the wheels and deck. Or the motors themselves touching pending the width of the trucks. Best to reach out to Omni directly!
Well as you saw in the video when I hit that pothole, that wasn’t when I actually damaged the bottom, it’s very resilient in, but hey you don’t have to run those street wheels on it. You can swap out whatever you want to!

Absolutely loved the look and feel of this product! Top notch remarks all the way around!!
That's a nice setup! Ride looks smooth. Gotta love the sound of the belts on the ramp up.
Great video and set up.
Love the Omni gear drive, paired with the mad 105 it’s just bliss in my eyes!
Great set up. I love the interchangeability of the wheels. So good.
Thanks Craig! I agree this is one of my favorite set ups as well!!
Awesome setup. I would splurge but I need the tubeless tires due to mixed conditions where I live. Happy with my Meepo gear drive for now..
Right on! Good choice my man!
It’s great to see you back on the Hurricane Drew! Also, I ❤ the FF references 😂😂
Haha thanks Ronan!

Thank you for understanding that 😆

He honestly didn't get very far with that motto lol

Extended how?
@@DrewElia Make it longer so they don't get in the way when sharp turning or carving (just in case 🤪)

This will
Actually for the board you just got! Easy to do, if you ever want to do it let me know I’ll
Help!
@@DrewElia that’d be awesome🙏🏼. That’s something I’d love to learn!
Let’s talk about the perfect street 😮

Their trucks are amazing, and their gear drive is great as well!! Hard choices yes new receiver is probably better

Ouch. I felt the pain whenever I saw scratches on parts😭
It’s meant to be ridden! Can’t always keep everything perfectly clean, I know though I was like ohhh that hurt me 😆
Hey Drew, would this fit the new Onsra Velar??
I’m not sure, it does fit the BC2/BC3 but I don’t know if the velar will use the same truck system? Omni will update their website once they get it available
I think I might be getting a refurb kaly xl50 with gear drives
There are a lot of boards out now that rival the kaly, just saying, in specs, price, power,

Will this fit the Tynee Mini 3 Pro?

does this fit on the tynee stinger?
That would be a great question for the Omni team! Let me reach out and see what they say. My only issue is clearance. The tail and deck hitting
Did I miss the step by step guide?
I’ll tag their video of assembly!

Thanks my dude
Man that’s SICC!!!
Thank you so much my man, yes I love this set up as well! Gear drives aren’t for everyone but this one is perfect set up for my needs!!

Makes no sense to make this where it’s so low to the ground. No one rides on just a flat surface. Fail.
