broo my S3's ESC died this morning, May she rest in peace! so i checked acedecks site and they have clearance on this board so I ordered my second deck!!! So excited!
I 100% agree about the deadband issue. I was really surprised no one brought this up until now. I have the NYX Z1 2023 and really diss like that dead zone. Causing sudden, dangerous, jolting will fall off the board if you are not careful. On my DIY AT board with Focbox i can safely "punch it" knowing it will never through me off the board. It's my biggest gripe with an otherwise great board.
Came close to buying this,I bought the Meepo Voyager & Ill have it tomorrow, like to know how the belt drive is compared to gear,I would think should be better as less power loss due to gears, damn maybe jus bite the bullet & get it
Update: I received the 90A belt drive, normally I go directly. Good thing I decided to keep the 190mm tubeless. I used to consider myself as senior rider with over 4 years and 4000Km. I carve and slide alot and been using different DIY variations of 12S4P/12S5P VESC based + 6355 6374 motors. OMG S+ mode almost killed me, this is much quicker more aggressive than any VeSC configuration I ve ever tested . S+ mode was completely overkill for me right now, I ended up modifying Ecomode in order to hit 56kph. Honestly Eco mode is closer to my VeSC 90A per motor configuration on 12S4P. Don't buy this if you are new to esk8. Do buy it if you think that you can easily handle any AT style board. The jump in power remind me from the day I switch from Wowgo 3X into Eovan carbon. I'm excited!! Streetwheels will wait a bit I need to tame this thing and feel comfy in S+ mode before trying to slide this beast in 100mm urethanes...
Thanks for the review, good job. I appreciate you including range unlike other 🐈⬛ well known youtubers...I barely got 24 miles with the 14s3p but I am also about 50 lbs heavier than you.
Was soo happy to see u were doin a review on the nomad. I got to rip one around DC for a bit and Daaamn. No need to up shift to get through traffic. A perfect amount of acceleration. Getting to 25-30 is the best part. 😎great review💯💯and great to see u back. Luv it man 🤙
32 miles. Dyaam. My OG ares got around 27 the other day with similar riding (180lbs) Acedeck is killing it. I’d love to see the 14s3p 60a version in comparison. 🙏🤙😎
Love your reviews!! You and Drew are #1 for me. Anyways, I’d love to see you top reviewers doing your favourites list. Favourite top 10 boards you have ridden. I saw Scott Davies did an awesome one the other days with his top 3 boards in each category, it’s a welcome departure from the standard reviews, plus gives us better insight into what we could buy next.
thank u so much! Yes thats a great idea. However we gotta knock out quite a few boards and wheels first. then we can get to that. But the more experience we get with more boards, the better that top 10 list will 🤘🏼

Hi. Could you please help me decide. I want to buy my first electric skateboard. I'm in between the Meepo Ninja hurricane bamboo and the Acedeck Nomad N1 gear drive all terrain. I don't want to spend more than $ 1.200. I'm 200 lbs. Which one do you think is better? Thanks

Solid review. Cant believe how it walked away from the Zeus Bamboo. Didnt realize also how massive this board is. Have you had the chance to ride the Ares X3 Direct Drive or see it in person? WOnder how the power of the DD with dual 50A ESC does.
Hey I know this is an older video but I was considering either purchasing this or the 4WD m50A bamboo Zeus pro and I was curious on how this would compare. Thanks!
Glad you're back, love your content. Stay safe as you continue to heal. I know you got a back log of boards to review, is the Acedeck 4wd direct drive board one of them?
That must be a really quick board. You're obviously a better rider than I am, but I can hardly see using the acceleration in mode 4 on my Titan X, which isn't this fast (based on how it left the similar Zeus)! At what point is it just bragging rights? Maybe at your skill level you actually want that much acceleration... although I can't see me ever wanting that much, lol! At some point you're also trading off weight for that acceleration. In my (flawed?) way of thinking, you'll always feel the extra weight, but how often will you truly use, or want, that max level of acceleration??? Seems like there has to be a happy medium somewhere, no? Anyway, thanks for including the brief medical updates, it's awesome to see you riding again bro!
I agree, I just dropped $5k (Aus) on an epic custom mountain board, i love it!! But no way I’m getting close to max acceleration or speed, it would be suicide
@@ssoffshore5111 The power of the N1 attracts me,I have big sportbikes(busa&14r),I was lookin at the belt drive N1 it has 652wh instead of the 828wh of the gear drive, dont like gear drive cause u cant change wheels BUT the Titan X has a 936wh battery so it looks like the Titan X might be faster

That remote lag is the deal breaker for me. Also, I'd prefer some flex In the deck.
Im late but its been fixed a long time ago
Yea just got one last week. It’s buttery smooth now. Carving at 25mph with his board is a dream. I don’t have the balls to ride on S+ mode lol
Nice break down and jazzy carving as usual.
When you said in my opinion these trucks look absolutely beautiful, man you weren’t Lying. Damn those trucks look nice.
One of the best reviews, next propel PIVOT GT.
Like to see a comparo btween these 2
Same! These are the two boards I'm debating right now! Pivot GT vs Nomad1. It's a tough choice.
You can also buy a 90A customised belt drive version(which I did and receive it in a week or 2). The idea is to put street wheels on it.

Glad to see you up and running, even if not at full speed . Ace deck , I need one in my garage. But I'm thinking the x1.

Perhaps the next generation will be flex bamboo, with a split battery. That would be cool🤙
