I've never been able to find a good gluten free cream soup in stores or a good recipe for one. I made your soup substitute tonight and actually used it in a green bean casserole and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
I'm really glad hear that the soup base worked out for you. I've found a few store brand soup concentrates that don't contain wheat, but it's really disappointing that GF soup concentrates just aren't out in major brands yet.
