garbanzo is such a good boy, he deserves all the birthday cake in the world :) this has been very informative for me as our labrador has recently been diagnosed with progressive retinal atrophy, he has already lost his night vision and is slowly losing his day vision. i hope garbanzo gets a home, he deserves it :)

I hate when a poor little innocent ANYTHING is hurt purposely. But, yes... we were put here on the earth to be stewards, and to have the ability to help other disadvantaged beings. God simply gave us that capacity. 🤔

My heart breaks for him. A dog who has spent his entire life in a shelter already has tons of potential traumas and fears that need to be dealt with. But a poor dog going blind on top of that? This poor boy must be scared 90% of his time and that's just so sad. I know he went to a facility for blind dogs now which is good! But I mean, living like this, only for one year, is just so sad.

This is also how many people hope all the dogs in the shelter get a home, I don’t get why people abandon their pets, they have been there for them and care for them, I mean your their owners, I have a dog that is blind and deaf, we brought her to the beach once and she ran into a metal pole, I worry about her all the time, but I wouldn’t put her down, trade her, or abandon her for the WORLD. All those people out there who feel neglected or anything else, were here for you, there are people who love you, don’t give up.
Aww! So Heartbreaking. He is so full of life and just wants to be loved. He really blossomed when spending time with Rocky.

I don't understand people. I've got 2 dogs one can't hardly stand cause he's so old and he's deaf. I have another dog who can't see, which she runs into stuff all the time, cause she's old too. They smell, kill my back, I've got to work twice as hard to care for them and I worry all the time about them and I wouldn't trade them for all the money in the world and that's the truth.

It’s so heartwarming to see a blind dog jumping to a person, I really really really want every single dog you show on your channel and how sad it is to those animals being scared and neglected most of their life. Those dogs deserve more than a home and love because all the dogs you have showed all have heartbreaking stories.

My dog died 2 or 3 years ago, he was def and it was really hard to get over it, I believe when he died, he could hear me, every word. I talk to him every night and cry its really really hard. 3 years later im still recovering. I have his ashes in my house in a box and refuse to look at the box. He was so sweet and his name was Sparky. I'm so sorry for your loss, I wish the best for you. Be strong, like Sparky. Love you Sparky.

I LOVE Garbanzo! He is adorable and if I could, he'd be the first I would adopt! Have worked with special needs, deaf and blind people for years. There is ALWAYS a double benefit if someone works hard enough! This dog has an AMAZING personality! I am praying he is adopted SOON! The BEST, is watching him in the water.

I'm sorry for all the animals that are sad broken but you sit with them and you love them and I love what you do and I love them I wish I could keep them I have a pet cemetery of all the dogs and cats that I had I only have one dog and a cat now but I had a whole bunch I'm sorry of the sweet precious dog that how to rest for all eternity he will be able to see him in heaven as we do we have a great relationship with the god of the universe then we become righteous and our pets become righteous love you all appreciate what you all do how is your baby how old is your baby now? Garbonzo really loved the ocean. Losing his sight his sense of smell is so important, and the ocean was a time where he could literally get into the smells. It’s so heartbreaking what we do to our animals, but yet they still like us. Thank you for what you do and for encouraging others to do the same.

Such a brave and happy boy! I’m legally blind, and I can tell you as a human, the beach can be a scary place with the sound of the waves crashing! But Garbonzo faces it like a champ!!!
