I’ve just started to get into the BCRS the last 6 months.. back in the 70’s I was an Abba fan… but seeing some of these bay city rollers groups and peoples posts saying things about members of the group I’ve never seen such bitchiness… I feel for Eric as he doesn’t have FB but I think the person handling his affairs needs to step up and either tell him or defend his name!!!!
@@blaineca I just was going thru different you tube clips and seen one for bay city rollers… and I loved it.. so since have watched so many and realised that they were a great band.. esp Eric and his guitar playing

All of it comes from people who have absolutely no influence in Eric’s life, they are totally irrelevant to him, so why do you feel he (or I) should waste time engaging with them? We both agree that, for the moment, it’s better to leave them shouting in their echo chamber and digging an even bigger hole for themselves. Eric doesn’t have FB, as you say, but he is aware of much of what goes on. If and when Eric wants me to come to his defence, then I will. Please don’t fall into the trap of believing that I have any control over him - anyone who knows Eric is aware that it is easier to nail jelly to the ceiling than to tell him what to do! When it comes to social media, I take my instructions from Eric - not the other way round. Look at the language that many of his detractors use - “Eric needs to do this”, “Eric should do that” - they are the ones who are trying to control him. One of the reasons that we have had a close friendship and working relationship for more than 14 years is because we have a mutual respect and understanding. None of the empty rhetoric posted in the fan groups comes from people whom Eric respects or who matter to him so, while I reserve the right to respond in future if necessary, for the moment I’m choosing to abide by Eric’s wishes and ignore.
I would be careful the person you may start bulling on line has severe disabilities, so don’t even go there. She did laughing mojo because you slandered our event again. Your not winning with the war of words, because the other event has been disrespectful to Alan son his biological son the only child that continues the line of the Longmuir name but they protect Eileen yet they denounce in hateful manner Eileen husband son. How can you challenge something so disrespectful as that. I have all that conversation that took place on a certain group and trust me when I say it will be used. I wish the other event well and hope all 150 guests enjoy themself like we did.
