I own a 15 WK2 and test drove a 22 WL. The wl for sure is tighter for me (6 foot 350 lb) compared to the WK2. The WL drives better and feels more solid. I still prefer the WK2 and thinking about getting a new one. The prices are crazy. Damn inflation smh.

Wk is a better looking SUV. Just leased a 2022 Laredo X Altitude package fully loaded for $420 a month and $3k down. Will probably be my last Jeep since I do not like the new models at all. Also the black piano black in the interior is a horrible choice. But most cars are doing that now for some reason.
I'm thinking of leasing one as well. That seems like a great deal! Mind me asking what state you live in?

Really? To me, the WL looks very much like a WK2. So similar in so many ways. It's evolutionary, not revolutionary as far as the design. The interiors are much more different than the exteriors.
They are both way overpriced.

The WK still has that classic look of past Grand Cherokees. While the WL has confusing design language like the WK and WL had an illegitimate baby. The front fascia of WL doesn’t work with the rest of the WK body. It looks great on the Grand Wagoneer but not on the GC.

Asking "How much?" is a far better, and completely different question.
If you're paying $800+ per month for a depreciating asset, you will likely never have any significant net worth / wealth.
If anyone buys a car just for resale value or to say 'it's worth a lot' is a moron.
Cars (especially Big 3) are over priced now. Wonder why foreign automakers are doing great.
WK2 looks better, this body has lots of fans around the world and WL looks like a crossover in this kind of styling.
All new cars are over priced i always thought kinks should be worked out before they go to market their was a time when they drove them 100k miles to work out issues before they was massed produced

They basically already do, once they add the digital cluster, passenger interactive screen, and get a new cab for the HD’s, It will be back to the drawing boards again 👍🏾

I think everyone prefers the old style because it looks like the pervious generations you can’t beat classic … Jeep take notes don’t make shit geared towards soccer moms.
I think the new body style is so sexy. BUT SHEW i own it and my 2022 WL needs 3 new motor mounts already with only 20k miles and a new water pump. Thank the lord its going to be covered but i have owned over 20 cars in my life and this is the first brand new car i have had to get things replaced so soon.
You are wrong jeep is no longer making the old body style. The last one rolled of the assembly line about a month ago.
The WL killed the Grand Cherokee as being a Jeep....The WK2 was the last true Jeep Grand Cherokee....Rotary Shift and paddle shifters are the worst possible set up for any kind of off roading...I have owned a GC since it was introduced as a ZJ in the 93 model year....A ZJ then WJ and now a WK2....skipped the WK was not a fan whatsoever and the WK2 will be the last I own unless they go back to the ol tried and true....and to me the new WL rear end looks exaclty like the Dodge Durango that's been out for years and the lower trim models look junky that WK2 in this video is lower trim and still looks good....sad days for Jeep GC fans
