It might be worth mentioning that when annotating ebooks, if you change the font size, it will put your writing into a “sticky note” automatically like the Kindle Scribe.
@@jeffreymoss Also, you did such a fantastic in-depth review of this device! I decided after watching this video to give this eReader a chance after debating between the BOOX Note Air 3, Kindle Scribe, and Kobo Elipsa 2e. All of the eReaders I currently own are Kindles; however, I’m very curious about the Kobo ecosystem, and your review further piqued my interest.
I connected my device to the computer, dragged over a PDF, wrote some notes on it, and then reconnected and moved the file back. All my handwritten annotations were there on the PDF on my computer. I can't see an ability to do typed notes on the PDF, just annotations from the pen. So I think the answer to your questions is mainly 'yes', but just know that the annotations are limited to the stylus.

Hello. Two precisions: the Kobo Elipsas have exactly two swipes all screens incluiding home. Up/down from the left border sets the front light level, and swipes from the top border enables to alternate between last books opened.

That's a great tip!

Good call. I also forgot to mention that, while in a book, you can quickly double-tap the screen to refresh it.
