So many awesome weapons especially the ones with special attacks. Like Muramasa, Estoc, Death's Scythe, Zaghnol, Chauve-Souris, and the Force Gloves (I really love the Seven-Bladed Sword, Laser Sword, Dragon Killer, Feather Sword, and Versatile Spear too)

Amazing how ahead of its time CoD was, these weapon classes and unique moves and attributes remind me of souls games and Nioh, also the joke weapons were probably an inspiration from Monster Hunter, another game I love to bits... would pay a hefty price for an expanded remake of this game, 3D Vanias are underrated, it just needed a better hardware and tools than what the PS2 era had to offer, which is why its level design is quite lacking. Imagine an expanded weapon moveset, more innocent devils with new, unique moves and purposes, better enemy AI, camera, an actual sprinting button, and level design similar to souls games... (extra points for an option coop/MP system)

I came to see the Morgenstern in action. Wanted to be sure it was a quick one handed like the mace though I thought it was. I'm doing a crazy run and I got my early carbon steel. Didn't want to waste it on a heavy slow swing axe. 40ATK! The Morgenstern is gonna carry me for quite a bit :)
I'll have to check out Crazy Mode sometime, tried it in Lament of Innocence but the enemies were just so dam tanky at the beginning lol. Trevor mode looks interesting too.
Scythe hurts.. the only weapon i never got in this game😢

just beat the game again, fun times - used max luck gear the whole way and had virtually zero problems getting all materials
the golden bones farm using the save point trick (go in and out until the 3 skeletons dont spawn, that means golden bones has spawned slightly to the right) at wyvern boss wasnt to bad either, i got 3 to spawn within 20minutes - gotta get those eggs

I still have the original guide book for it, though the glue and backing is failing. It has everything in it except how to steal things, find that online. Was a few i had to search up.

Actually the pumpkin ID has a special move, when it's cry it kind a deals damage to the enemy and it's very rare move you can accidentally pull it using pose or on Auto attack

@@allyssa3733 Hope this one and the innocent devil vid have been handy lol. It's a fun game so a remake would be cool. One thing they could tweak is adding some form of sprint since there's a lot of walking around on such a big map. The teleportation rooms did help, but certain spots were still a good walking distance from them.

How are you playing this in full resolution and HD textures? I'm running it in PCSX2 and can only figure out how to do 480p
Make sure you have your Renderer set to Hardware (Direct3D11 or OpenGL) instead of Software which locks the resolution and graphics to the game's native settings.

This game got so much shit in it my only issue with this game is the fact I think the level designs variety could’ve been a little better but everything else is awesome with this
Yea this is probably the weakest level design in a Castlevania game and Hector walked/ran too slow which made some areas a chore to travel through. Other than that, it was a fun experience overall. A remake of this and Lament of Innocence would be dope but Konami doesn't seem to care about this IP anymore.
Avenger-senpai true I have a ps2 and this is pricey but I’ll get around to getting it cause I have a demo of it in a jampack and I love it I like the whole rpg elements and innocent devil system but ya I do wish there was more variety in the level design but the music and gameplay is nice
what is the best combination of weapons armors and devil/fairies in your opinion?
I can't really say since it's been quite a while but it boils down to preference and what type of enemy/boss you're facing. I tended to use a high strength build so that would be something like Death's Scythe, Masakado's Helm, Dracula's Clothes and any Pumpkin I.D since they boost your stats.
Since the Pumpkin I.D's are bound to die I'd switch it with Gargoyle if I was facing a boss because its move "Conflict Fall" can do a ton of damage to a single target (if I remember right). If I was farming or facing a bunch of enemies I'd switch to a Bird Type that knows "Carpet Bombs" since it's great for clearing out a bunch of enemies at once. The Bamboo Lance is also great for that since it has the best reach.

when i first got to good farming spot i made all versions of each pet i would need - then i mainly just used a golem the whole time since i knew at the end i would make a corpsey and wanted to have good stats for 2nd gen since i wasnt going to farm several generations on my way through
Frying pan is fire a tribute I'm pretty sure.
I believe it only applies for the final combo finisher though (Square, Square, Square, Circle) when the flames pop up from the pan. Similar to the Muramasa which has a Thunder attribute final combo. You can check out which other weapons have attributes in the video's description!
How use a fire or ice.
I don't think there's a weapon with an Ice stat. There are four weapons that have a fire attribute: 19:29 No.31 Frying Pan, 25:49 No.45 Versatile Spear, 34:37 No.63 Bomb and 35:31 No.65 Fire Flask. You can find the timestamps and more info of other weapons in the video's description for the other attributes like Lightning, Dark and Lifesteal.

Yep, there's a few others as well. The Face Guard is a reference to Jason's hockey mask from Friday the 13th, Nyoi-Bo is a Dragon Ball reference (Goku's staff), Alucart Mail is a reference to Alucard's Mail armor from Symphony of the Night and Dragon Killer is based on Guts' Dragon Slayer sword from Berserk.
