@@Mechness it's because of that song that I started following Tool. The bass line on it is out of this world, it was just a youtube recommendation at first. I'm not from the US (where tool is not popular outside of the metal scene ) and never was into metal until adulthood, All I knew was a couple of Metallica songs. Now, I'm all about metal.
On a side note, the they also nailed Lateralus.
Covering mostly Rage against the machine and Tool .... this must be my people

Another very well done cover. Band played extremely well. Sophia nailed the vocals. I love the spice she brings. It's not Maynard and it's not meant to be. It's her own smoky sultry pepper version and I fucking love it.

How incredible these lyrics are. The way Maynard put them together seems almost impossible too think of. Imagine writing to this instrumental..the way he structured the words to the instruments is amazing.
Also, usually tool covers are deafening...you sound natural for this and have an absolute beautiful voice.
Would love to see Brass Against play side-by-side with the bands they are covering, with each playing every other verse. Could be cool to hear the change mid song.

One of my favorite tracks and y'all crushed it, as always. Sophia adding this sultry tone to the verse and rage to the chorus, excellently done. And the bridge where the brass cuts loose makes the arrangement sound jittery and desperate.

She is the REAL DEAL - power, passion, sultry, firey, and a killer set of vocal chops to top it off. I don't follow vocalists as a rule, but I gladly make exceptions when they're exceptional.. and she is the hottest thing I've heard in a while.

I mean, it's not even about chops a lot of the time (like in the chorus), he (or whoever is writing his transcriptions) just doesn't bother getting the parts right
I grew up playing Jazz, and Concert Band in school, Alto - then Tenor Sax, and as a big TOOL fan, I tell u this works.. . Sounds great 👍

I was ready to rage and hate on this band for having the audacity to even dare to cover a tool song and rework it .but before I could type the audio started and wow what a great rendition and a great listening experience and a great band. Will definately look for more of this band, you earned my admiration, respect and support.
