When I was in my teenager yrs on my bmx bike, me and friend went to a round tunnel….i wanna say right after Indian school and under eubank….in the arroyo…there’s a round tunnel that goes of to east….it also had devils tunnel or satans tunnel written above it….we went so far back that there was a huge spot covered in blood…it wasn’t paint..guess could’ve been something else….shorty after that the walls were covered in roaches…like the walls were moving…omg it was so gross. Nobody would’ve ever found us dumb kids if something happened. I will never forget that experience. I’ve been in a lot of the tunnels u have gone in as a teenager. I enjoy your videos!
@AlexMarentes, in the late 1980's i was homeless as 10th grade began. early winter i lived in the tunnels under albuquerque. there were many moments that were unbelievable that i never will forget. yet freezing to death on the sidewalks and or going to jail were worse than sleeping among those if you want a quick tour through the best of burque's undercity system i would be glad to accomodate.
Found your channel right before your "Hell's Gate" videos and you've been pumping out cool videos like crazy since then! I'm pretty fascinated by all the graffiti especially in these places where they don't ever get covered. I see some of the same tagger names all over town. All the time and cans of paint is a lot of dedication and I wonder about the lives of these people. How many are just high schoolers? How many are homeless or near it? How many are older now? How many steal all the paint they use? Are people mostly alone or with others when they go down there? Lots of things I wonder about when I see all the graffiti. It looked like the side tunnels with light coming through were places where people learned how to enter from the surface. Seemed like further into the tunnel the graffiti was denser around those side tunnels. I was happy for you that you were able to take the ebike into this one - it feels safer even just as a viewer. Anyway thanks for the interesting videos. Stay safe!
Here in Manitou Colorado it used to be the Devil worshipping capital of the world. We have caves on the opposite side of cave of the winds. Caution enter at your own will some still are deep deep into Black Magic. As soon as you enter and your feet hit the ground inside those caves you can feel the evil around you. And don't ever go behind the waterfall enter straight into hell. They have a real witch castle and lil nome people have been seen around her home. You can rent it for Halloween if your brave enough to stay the night. Motel behind the arcade is also haunted if your brave enough to stay there. But everything is evil they brought that to the town and still heavy into Black Magic. They can harm you with just a picture of you..💯💯💯💯💯
Ive seen a gold orb deep in the tunnels off the hwy and carslisle. To this day I still cannot explain what I saw and it was not a flashlight. We were deep in the tunnels
In my youth in the 1980's I remember the tunnels always amelling like urine. There was a big "satanic panic" back in the 1980's, and now it seems like it's back 🙄
@OGROBBC OH yes. I tried to go through one of them, but there was deep mud. I turned around, did not finish it. Need to take my rubber boots. I hear it ends at Westmesa High School while someone else told me it ended up near the county jail, which will be a long way. I need to make those tunnels for sure.
I lived in the NE. There was a parking lot with people living under it at the park near the FEDEX and bowling alley. It's on Juan Tabo connected to an arroyo. Now its an adult toy store.
@@AlexMarentes Yes, they were living underneath the street bridge and spending days in the park. It's the old FEDEX location on Juan Tabo. Between Menual and Candelaria. There's an Albertson's north of the park. The way the FEDEX had their parking lot covered more of the arroyo making a weird space for them under to hide.
Crazy video reminds me of elementary. Tunnel under Carlisle candelaria use walk far in to San Pedro nobody goes in there anymore 90s looked like this video
Before you get into the channel check the weather. Those will flood out faster than you can run or ride. You should check out where these channels empty out on N 4th and 2nd St area. Huge marsh and flood plain.
Says “trying to stay quiet so you can hear the noises” then speaks one second later lol. You’re in a tunnel with a road above you which amplifies any sound.
I grew up when all this was mesa none of this was here in the 70s Im totally saddened to see how screwed up it has become my whole family has deep roots from Coors to north 4th rio grand to Corrales all the way to 4 hills I think Albuquerque took a wrong turn somewhere I split in the 70s and have never been back until my grandmother died the north east looked like a ghost town around Coronado mall I managed Panchos on central and Sambos until it closed
Back in the 80's that arroyo was open from Juan tabo to tramway, now it is covered over. The branch going north might be the one called devils den, it opened up to a larger room. Nothing good ever happened in those tunnels, nothing good at all. This was all back in the days of purple gates.
Hey Alex, I’m Here From Burque Wey, my name is G. Albuquerque is my crazy city. I can go with you to these tunnels Iv been there before, as long as you go with me, there’s some way out here under the mesa. I’m talking Like as far out as Unser and further, and the others I know of Is Right next to Golf Course.
I wish you would have shown us what light was coming in from the north in the round smaller tunnels. This might shed some light on just how far east you went but I do appreciate your explorations.
@@AlexMarentes there were a few side round tunnels going in on the left and out on the right with what looked like sunlight hitting the opposite wall. It looked bright so I assumed it was sunshine. Not at the end but like kinda halfway from entrance to end
IDK if you're brave or crazy or both. I'm getting creeped out just watching this. I'd be afraid someone would block the exit by starting a fire and trap me inside. Hope you're carrying . . . .
You should go to Heaven and Hell. It's up by academy and tramway. Hell is a short tunnel that goes down a ways but Heaven is enormous. I never made it all the way through.
@AlexMarentes If your on Academy you turn north on Tennyson and after you pass the albertsons it's down on the right side. This is different than the one you've been to. Your bike might not fit in through the heaven entrance. (Because it's 6 short tunnels that all lead into the giant one) But it's 2 different tunnels that are directly across from each other. Hell goes down and Heaven goes way up.

Could you go explore a little beavertown? You can still see some of the railroad tracks and it's a good secret part of Albuquerque's history
25:50 - 25:52 there seemed to be a dissembodied breath that was noticeable compared to the other noises throughout.
Definite foot steps at times though... Strange
Just your imagination, homie.
Can't wait for you to post the other tunnel you saw at the end of the video ❤
