Do you have any videos on getting a rat to lose weight? I just took in a very overweight rat and I'm hoping I can get her weight down

Make a rat playground and let them play a LOT, dont feed in a bowl, scatter the food and make them work for it, look up foraging toys shadow has good vids on it as well. Make sure the food is healthy and look up how much rats actually need per day, I've seen most people give them way too much

@@SpiritPhilosophy definitely getting some foraging toys. I know the food is healthy, no other rat looks overweight at all. I've definitely been throwing a lot of food into the cage but they don't eat all of it, so I'll be sure to trim it down and get some foraging toys. I also started putting it on the top level of the cage since she prefers to hang out down below, so she has to do some work to get food
