When I first decided to carry every day and started my training journey and figuring out the whole proper gear thing, I wish I would have checked certain channels on UA-cam. Yours being one of the main channels I wish I ran across! It would have saved me a lot of money and time weeding through the garbage I started off with. Even though I’m squared away with knowing what to look for in gear now, I still get some great info from you. Thanks, man!

Micky, I appreciate this video so much as our capabilities are based on how we train. It is always the hard work pays off.
I try to dry fire at home whenever I can. I at least put in 30 mins a day to practice my draw and trigger handling. I am far from where I want to be and I always want to go to ranch whenever I can.

You're like a father that every man who doesn't have a father should have. Always teaching essential life skills. I have a playlist called "life's tools" with you and select few other you tube channels that I value. I always dry-fire 3 times a week with only the 3 ccw's I have, always carry a pp spray, pistol, knife, TQ and always stay aware of my surroundings.
Thank you for always providing important life skills! and being funny!

Excellent presentation. Thank you for your time and knowledge. I would prefer a world where it was not so easy to inflict violence upon others, but that is not the world we live in. So, after long consideration, I am working on improving my handgun skills and when I feel ready I will get my ccw license. I hope I never encounter a violent situation, but I would never forgive myself if I could not protect my family, friends, or innocent people.
Also, I am usually extremely fit. Normally, I run 50+ miles per week in the mountains, often waking before 5am so I can still spend time with my family and work. And many bigger adventures are thrown in when time allows. Fitness is key to quality of life, mental and physical health. I also do core, pull-ups, push ups, Mtn biking etc. And I am a welder so I move steel all day.
I’ve been considering jiujitsu for some time but it’s really difficult for me to pull away from my mountain endeavors. There is only so much time in the day.
I will watch many more of your videos. I appreciate your sincerity and expertise.

Responsibility. When you stated the reason for Responsibility, you said it all. Being an old retired peace officer and Army Ranger, I was responsible for my men in the Rangers. I was responsible for the 12,000 citizens who lived and worked within my beat as a peace officer. And the responsibility to myself to go home at the end of my shift.
One gun. One holster. Great points. I carried a 4" S&W mod 28 for almost my entire career. Trained every day. And when it came to responding to armed confrontations, I reacted appropriately, and went home at the end of my shift because of training to win.
You sir, are teaching and training others to remove the "Hollywood Syndrome" from their minds and instilling rational and responsible thoughts and actions. Excellent presentation and constructive discussion. You have my respect. Back in the day as a street cop, we had a saying about officers we trusted. "I'd go through a door with him any day." Meaning I know he'd cover my back with absolute confidence. And I'd go through a door with you anytime. 👍

one fail in majority training is always using 2 handed grip to shoot... you might not have both hands available when you need to shoot, I've had a broken arm, broken hand etc both hands not always available.
I've had 2 times I pulled trigger on a glock 17 gen 1 where I had to find the slide/barrel/spring as they flew off when gun fired, glock has great warranty but won't have one after 2 broke.
