This is very good training! I like his non-flashy interjection of comedy without him pausing for reaction.
Great training. I'm a retired LEO who taught DT, impact weapons and firearms for many years. You're teaching skills in a way it took me 25 years to learn. Thanks for teaching people quality skills.
I can not believe this is free for us all to watch and learn. Thank you for doing this. Not just edicational, lots of fun too 😂 Much respect.
Just finally got a holster and going to carry soon. Most of this info I remember from your past videos, but these S12 videos are invaluable. Thanks Mickey and crew.
Don't rely on just 1 holster. 2 at minimum with different configurations. I have an owb/iwb, a shoulder, a belly band and a bandoleer type.
Wear what is most comfortable for you that day just as long as it gets you ready access to your gun!

Moving your pelvis out when holstering in the appendix position is a great tip! Thanks!
@24:30
I’m a lady & I’ve always done that, pretty much common sense to see where you’re pointing your loaded weapon
Lol ( watching while on break at work)I like the humor, I will finish this when I get home.
Wow! This class has evolved light years from years ago. Definitely practice makes perfect. Good job Mickey.
Everything evolves
What's amazing about these videos is that I spent 20 years in the military and wore an side.arm never heard of none of this. So much for infantry tactics. In addition just retired.as a law dog never had a range master explain or teach this.. Since this video ive tried your method it all clicks so.well.thank you for taking the time to explain it ..
Just wanna say thank you for putting these class videos/your knowledge on UA-cam. Can't tell you how many people I share your class videos to. Because of the way you break things down, n the reasoning behind specific movements. Mick you are an excellent teacher, the 🤣 random dick jokes🤣 make it that much more entertaining. Love all your content, keep doing you. You freaking rock brother 👍
Another extremely good and useful video, great break down of the Draw Stroke. Thank You for all you do and contribute to the community.
Always ❤️ the videos and what you do for the gun community Keep doing what you do
The draw is even more important than accuracy.
At bare minimum, you get the drop.
here, here.....dry fire practice can be done anytime building muscle memory
Yes the draw is important, but not more important than accuracy. Both are equally as important. some of the greatest gun fighters Wyatt Earp, Frank Hammer. Even Wild Bill Hickock shot a man at 75 yards in the heart after Tutt had shot first and missed. my advise is work on your skills both draw and accuracy.
Love these vids.. always very informative and a little humor mixed in to lighten things, maybe one-day I can get the vacation to take some of your classes. That'd be frickin awesome!
Another great video! Still doing the work at home thing due to Covid so I followed along with my EDC while working... had all mags/ammo in my bathroom...lol.
Thank you for the training Mickey!!
I always watch your teaching sir I learned a lot
Hope to be able to take a class from you soon!
Dude, you won't be disappointed
Better! I like the muscle memory being developed.
Great content Mickey. I can listen to fundamentals thousand times over love it.
Looking forward to Shelton 22.
WOW THE WIND TALKER MOVIE I LIKE WHEN HOW
very informative information, And for free? I just got my CHL(concealed handgun license) And plan on getting more training. Thanks for the hard work you do.
Damn this guy loves his lingo...
Thank you for sharing your classes. A lot of trainers won’t put out drills , tips, and philosophy on UA-cam for free. I definitely want to train with you soon
Very good👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
You plan on coming to Utah at all? I'd love to participate in some of your trainings.
Spot on instruction as always. With ya on the NRA comment 😂
I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THE TRAINING BUT I LIVE IN NC AND MONEY IS VERY Tight
Use the grip that works for you...even that daft uncomfortable one he was showing.
With 5 kids and a wife I don't have anything left
You have 5 kids man 👨?
Imagine you are being captured on camera to be released on ASP at a later date. You will look efficient if you are efficient. I hope I can get to one of your classes like this one.
Whats that?

@@CarryTrainer I thought I saw you and John on a video together before, and I didn't know if you have other people comment on your YT channel.
I really get a ton from your videos, but getting there and "doing" is everything.
@@theplinkerslodge6361 Hope to see you
Awesome tutorial! I’m guessing your having a friend help with your videos.. one guy gives way too much headroom which is showing a lot of trees and sky. Also have your editor match the color on your cameras, one camera is perfect but the other tint is way off. Thanks for all you do
It's a hard habit to break!
👍
Can someone explain the benefits of shooting with either just your left eye, just your right eye or both eyes holding with either left or right
Carry Trainer and Warrior Poet both have videos about this I believe. Most would say shoot with both eyes open for better situational awareness. There's also cross eye dominance and they have tips to help you decide what's best for you. Hope that helps...
What holster is he using at the beginning of the video??
Hey, Mickey, when I draw (I'm using OWB holster in 4:00 position) to get from "position 1" to "position 2" _in the most efficient manner_ (i.e., plane of the arc of the muzzle parallel to the centerline of the body--if that makes sense), I can tell I'd be flagging my right knee and toes of right foot. Should I introduce a curved trajectory for the muzzle outside of that plane (but now the draw is less efficient) to avoid flagging said body parts? I think I know the answer, but interested in your answer. THANK YOU
You are way overthinking dude...
@@Me-hv9fk How so? Do you muzzle flag people you don’t intend to destroy, or do you not care?
Any knife experts here know what type of knife that was being pulled out at 3:20? Big thanks my dudes

Orientated?!Not a word,Mick.Oriented is what you meant.Being a master of English is just as important as being a master of the gun.
Didn’t know English mattered in the middle of a shootout
hey,, time to holster hahahahahahahah
The bad language is necessary on training?
What the hell happened to you man I haven’t seen a video from you in a year
I recently ordered this gun from *immaglockdealer on wickr* and finally got to shoot it today. The 300 grain rounds aren’t that bad but the 500 grain rounds kick it’s a lot of fun to shoot
does anyone even do revolver classes these days lol
Yes they do
14:55 blonde did not fully insert the pistol and trigger guard is exposed.
Negative on that. That holster had a bit too generous a cut on the plastic.
Targets don t shoot back
I feel like there is way too many people there

This a joke
Thou shalt not teach what thou can't do. I've yet to see this guy put a full mag through one hole, such as that in which he teaches as only acceptable. Someone please tell me this guy is a joke.
