I enjoy Your videos Mick. I always enjoy your shooting drills ! And Your pursuit to to train for excellence! I comment a lot on your videos because I like Your training wish I could afford to train with You one on one! Keep on keeping on I have really enjoyed Your individual videos and the ones You do with one more person! I like drills and shooting with results!
Great video. Really appreciate your content and looking forward to training with you next month in Lebanon, PA. Cool that you're cutting down on the F-bombs. I struggled with it for years. It just isn't necessary and distracts from conveying information. Keep kicking butt!😎💪👍
Very cool. Always solid. 30-50k per year! Man, that's impressive. Wish I could do a fraction of that! I have a hard time motivating myself to go to the range alone. I try and ask family and friends to come with and it's like pulling teeth. I have painters tape all over my room for dry fire practice. 1/2"-2" squares. Every day I practice going through them all to speed up transitions etc. I see a marked improvement each range trip, but it's too long in between. I just know this doesn't necessarily help with follow up shots and recoil control, other than practicing my grip. Sometimes it's just nice to have an outside perspective to help evaluate, spot, or maybe even record so I can see my grip etc later. What do you suggest?
As a "legal" gun owner it's probably a good idea to keep up with the latest developments around legislation regarding the legalities of firearm ownership...there are people who are constantly lobbying against firearm ownership especially for personal defense...in SA 🇿🇦 there is an organization called "Gun free SA"..that is constantly at this.. unfortunately we dont have something like the 2A, and our govt does give them an ear..and also believe that private firearm ownership is the primary supplier of guns to criminals( through theft and loss) but its been seen that the police lose more guns than private citizens..so knowing the law is important anywhere..👍🏾
Micky, I took a class with you last summer and I’m looking forward to taking another next time you’re in my area. My question is about lead poison. I saw your video on the subject and feel like I do more than most shooters. I shoot mostly outside (but not exclusively), use lead wipes, shower after shooting, wear gloves when I clean my guns, etc., but I recently tested high for lead. How do you and others who shoot a lot stay safe? I shoot about 800 rounds a week. Is it simply that I have to shoot less? Thanks
Hey there. First, I'm not a doctor or a scientist, but I do know exposure is required for it to get into you. I'd be interested to chat. So you still have my number?
Even now that my kids are older and have been taught to handle and respect firearms, I still put my EDC in a quick access safe if it's not on me. It's just part of my routine.
The problem is, people try to keep these things away from kids. You have to show Them what a gun is and what it could do. Don't hide it away. That's how they get in trouble.

As always, good talk, great information.
87° here in Michigan.
Situational awareness. Definitely something to constantly be training on

They should be reserved for special occasions
Necessary is a subjective term. Perhaps you need to lighten the F up.
See what I did there?
See you soon .

In Mexico, it is difficult for the good ppl to have access to firearms

And here in Michigan, they changed some laws here recently so we have to keep up with current status
Indeed
Hey Mikey, great video as always. At what age did you start really getting into guns, or what age did you start taking it seriously as a profession?
I've been interested in weapon craft my whole life.
At what age is appropriate to begin teaching firearm safety to children?
Great question. We did a few videos on this.

I see a lot of children finding guns in their parents bedroom and getting hurt these days

Where at? I haven’t seen an extraordinarily large accounting of this. I wonder if it’s regional?
How many?
Bologna. Quit being dramatic.
