Is there a greater chance of water ingress using this step flashing technique over a lapped square step? I have just had this done and am getting water ingress.
Get some lead sealant in all the gaps before pointing, should be fine.

It called Turn in flashing lead and also know as Easyflash lead bending.
Its called a lead bender mate
Called a woman
Its called a peice of 3x2 with a slit in it
