I just wanted express my very deepest gratitude and appreciation to this young wonderfull person from Russia , who by his great talent and work made my life so much better. I have never thought that I will be ever capable of playing any of Mark Knopfler songs in its oryginal beauty. I even had it all against Mark himself that he didn't teach how to play his style - even if he probably didn't have the time to do that. With Pavel Fomenkov engagement in popularizing Mark's artistry , my dream become reality. I will be always grateful to him . Always.
Wow! A pleasure! For me it’s as interesting as for everybody, extremely enjoyable songs to play and to sing. Thank you.
@@PavelFomenkov Pavel ! What a surprise ! I am really speaking with you ! Jeez , the Internet and its powers ! And you're so kind. Not only you share what cost you so much effort , but so gracefully.... You are amazing human being. Let me take one more advantage of you. When you find the time and whim , could you do the lesson on Mark and Chet "There'll be some changes made", from their album "Neck & Neck " ? I know that I am only one more soul , but I love this song ! I love you better , though, so only if it doesn't interfere with anything you do ! Let me shake hand with you ! You're the greatest ! Yes, you are.
Best cover version (and lesson) I’ve seen - showing the picking pattern is especially helpful, thank you!
Павел, вы большой молодец! Спасибо )

Pavel you are a genius, please keep posting videos in between your studies !!
A really fast lesson today for a song about fast food. In total about 1 and a half hours in the making, I don't think if I'll manage to make a lesson this fast again, but anyway. It's called an inspiration, folks!
Pavel Fomenkov great lesson as usual.,thanks from France
Great job! Thanks for listening to my request!
Such great work Pavel!! And not just on this song, but on all the songs you have here!! Thank you so much! For many of Mark's songs, I never expected them to work so well on a single acoustic guitar!
Best, B
You're the best. Thanx!
Thanks for this great lesson, Pavel!
Hey Mr Man, great job on this! Thank you!

Thanks a lot for the lesson, Pavel. I'm still following you! :-)
I need a Big Mac after that...

Hey man, I love Mark Knopfler's music. Great channel!
good explaination, good job
Like it
superb ..thanks !
Really great cover, been hooked on this album again since watching The Founder, and trying to learn how to play this song again.
Thanks for sharing
I heard the whole idea for the film came from the writer hearing this song of Mark's.
Great song choice! I've been wanting to learn this one for a long time... I think that pretty soon you will have covered the whole Shangri-la album! Thanks for another great lesson,, as always its top notch.
Thank you again Anish! I've seen your amazing questions under some of my older videos, don't worry, I'll answer, just want to group my thoughts together and give a proper answer. Take care and thank you!
I love these passionate Russian music lovers, like this guy or Lex Friedman, the AI podcaster. So romantic. I find it endearing, because secretly, I am exactly the same way.
Thank you! Just subbed to Lex, seems like a very nice chap.
Yes, and his podcast it's phenomenal
Your Channel is for sure , the most interesting for learning mark awesome fingerpicking technique on UA-cam . Really good good job ...
Get lucky please
It's actually my next choice. Thank you!
Superr!!!
Thanks! I requested this song too. It looks like we will have to wait a while for Marbletown. I don't think that one will be this easy.
Absolutely! I can play it already, but a lot of little things I can accidentally drop or miss, so I want this particular song to be as accurate as possible.
Have made good progress with these incredible tutorials, Pavel. Thank you. Saving for an OM28, but I may start hunting for used AJ. Calling Elvis?
Very nice lesson indeed! I have been following for a while, is there a chance of getting this tablature?
Great stuff! Just signed up as a patreon ..
Amazing! Thank you so much for your support. By the way, consider lowering your pledge, because I post quite often, hence I think 1$ is more than enough :)
Pavel Fomenkov I set a max pledge pr month ☺️ And I'm more than happy to support with that ammount.. Just keep it up 👍
Pável I love your videos not only for the fine Guitar work but also for the way you explain it and your comments about the song each time. Q, do you think this way is how mark shows a song to the band for the first time?
Thanks! A brilliant question, Eduardo. I think it's something along those lines, because you simply can't break the song down more than with a performance of just you and an acoustic guitar. As long as I play accurate chords, I'm pretty sure that the songs get their way to the studio in this kind of a naked form.
Eduardo Castillo actually, it think it might be the exact same way he introduces songs to the band. I currently came across an interview called « mark knopfler on guitars » if you want to check it out, where he explains that most of the time, he writes songs really like just a chord progression on his acoustic guitar and thinks about the arrangement later!
Very good work! Do you know what does Richard Bennett?
Dovresti fare una lezione sui tre assoli, cosi sarebbe molto più' completo.
Ancora un buon lavoro, grazie
But the solos is just E minor pentatonic, I don't know what to say really, you just learn E pentatonic and the rest is just licks, licks, licks, hundreds of them. And trying to get the feeling right. Exuse me for using automatic translator, but I love Italy!
