Hard to believe that Maggie was 57 at that time. They dd a wonderful job on the makeup to make Maggie look a lot older. It's hard to believe that Maggie has looked the same even without the makeup for 30 plus years.
I remember I was at a very low point in my life when this movie came out. I felt very old and honestly believed my entire life was insignificant . I can truthfully say I walked out of the theater feeling 20 years younger at the end. The one line tink says still hits me every day. Quote I can see why you have such a hard time finding your happy thought with so many sad memories
The thing that I always liked is Rufio had no problem admitting that Peter was the Pan and gave him back his sword. He was never disloyal, he just didn't believe that he was who they said he was.
When Peter came back to see her that 2nd time, that is when he had his adventure with Jane in Return to Neverland. What made Peter finally stay behind?, he fell in love and it changed him...crushing Tinkerbell in the process. Perhaps that is why she tried to kill Wendy when Wendy was a child? Wendy was viewed as a threat to take Peter away from her, it just happened in an unexpected way, many decades later on.
This movie wasn't made by Disney, so Jane doesn't exist in this universe. Besides, Hook came out years before Return To Neverland and those DisneyToon sequels aren't even part of the main canon. Let me ask you this, do Jane or Moira even exist in the books?
@@davidwallgren7575 Jane DOES Exist in the Original Story. J.M. Barrie wrote an Epilogue about Peter Returning to Wendy's House years Later, and Discovering her as an Adult and Mother. And she allowed Peter to take her Daughter Jane to Neverland. Jane also Eventually Grows up and has a Daughter who Peter also takes to Neverland. But Jane's Daughter was Named Margaret, not Moria. So the Film makers Decided to Change it and tell their own Version of what Happened. Disney also Decided to tell their own Version too with "Return to Neverland".

At Least Disney Decided to give the Movie a Theatrical Release, Instead of sending it Directly to Video like the Other Disney Sequels.

Even the Grandmother said No. Yes times were different when this movie was created, yes our childhoods cherish classic scenes like this, but that does not take away the fact that in today's standards...this is Sexual Assault.
