if i dont put the study in my A01 can i still put it as A03 and evaluate it or do i need to have the key study in my a01 to put in in AO3? e.g mcdonald’s study
Yep :) Studies can count as AO1 (if described accurately and in detail) or you can briefly outline it to use as AO3 (effective link to the question needed of course!). If the essay was on interference (for 16 marks) in order to gain all those 6 AO1 marks you could: 1) Describe what interference is 2) Define pro-active and retro active interference and give examples BUT this would be a challenge to get all 6 marks from that, so that's why I would describe one study reasonably well to pick up some more AO1 marks. You can then use that study as AO3 too if effectively linked to the question.
Are we allowed to include the same points but with different evidence? Like you did in the video with supporting research evidence but using mcgeoch and McDonald and baddley and hitch
If you mean provide two pieces of supporting evidence for the same point - yes you can do that. But higher level marks often come from developing your discussion through counter arguments so try to incorporate those into your answer.

@@BearitinMIND thank you this helps 🤩

If I’m understanding your question correctly, you can use alternative studies to the ones I’ve used if you’ve learned different ones 👍
@BearitinMIND no I meant as in can we include the same point but in different paragraphs
So 2 paragraphs on the same point of supporting research evidence but we use different studies
If you mean provide two pieces of supporting evidence for the same point - yes you can do that. But higher level marks often come from developing your discussion through counter arguments so try to incorporate those into your answer.
Think of PoRn Proactive old interfere with new retroactive new interferes with old
Thanks for carrying my 12 marker
You are most welcome👍
