Best Scouts 1) Tatarin - Can go though anything, and can flip any rolled over vehicle or trailer with ease. Not a great roof rack, utility is limited. But for what it does, it's untouchable. If you have a vehicle or trailer that's in need of rescue, never mind cranes or strong winches. Hook the Tatarin onto it, give the engine a shot of gas, and whatever is rolled over will be rescued in no time. Or if you just want to own the terrain with no fear of snow or mud whatsoever, again, Tatarin. 2) F-750 - Ultimate utility, best support truck by far. Doing a task where you need to repair a broken car or truck, or have another vehicle somewhere you crashed that need repair. The F-750 carries enough repair points and fuel for all your needs, especially if you want to bring along a service trailer to have just that little bit extra. Capable offroad with top engine and UOD II offroad tires which are eh, more or less mud tires anyway like the OHD I. I can always count on this vehicle to get where it needs to go and repair whatever needs fixing. 3) Yar - Possibly Loadstar to, but for me the Loadstar drinks fuel to fast, it's best add-on (the pickup bed) isn't that great for support, and it tends to usually get stuck a lot even with UOD II's. The Yar is a bit on the slow end, but with medium low it'll crawl though muddy area's the Loadstar can't get though. And if need be, the Yar floats, so you can float it across rivers where the Loadstar will just drown in deep water. Like the Loadstar the Yar can also pull scout trailers which iswhy it's on this list, you need at least one scout that can actually use scout trailers. And I just think the Yar beats the Loadstar at that job. It's less fuel hungry, can go over rougher terrain, can float across rivers and has a better roof rack for utility. Loadstar has the speed advantage over Yar and is probably better on roads, but otherwise the Yar beats it in every regard. So Tatarin > F-750 > Yar > Everything Else. Yes, I would say the F-750 is a damn fine truck indeed. Great rig and one of my favourites.
@@rurrochman Loaf doesn't really do anything special for me. I do still use it from time to time but I'm not into it like Mr Lone Wolf is. A 4X4 scout that I revisited in Season 7 and has really been impressing me the past few months has been the Chevy CK1500. For being the first truck you get in the game, it's been amazing me the places I can get this little 4X4 to go to. Once all decked out, it's actually a little beast of a truck.
Tatarin is just a cheatcode vehicle, I almost think it should be it's own class. I understand why they added it, to reduce frustration and give a solution to any problem, but it's so OP it dilutes the rest of the game.
@@c.j.1089 It does have some short comings. It can surprisingly easily get high centred on rocks. Can't go in super deep water and of course isn't very fast. But in general yes it is extremely powerful.
Man I just started the game but when I saw the F 750 I needed to have it. Little did I know what insanity I was in for. Getting the truck took me one day, and all the upgrades (mainly the engine) took me two days. That's when I realised I was playing the "dark souls" of vehicle games. But now I'm back in Michigan and I can only say it was WORTH IT!
Hi it’s me on another really old video, I remember using a mod scout to find the final engine and I did feel a little dirty afterword but man the f750 is great with it. I personally like using Russian trucks in Russia and USA trucks in the US and I brought it to some other American map and I did some light 2 cargo deliveries with it and it felt great. Another fantastic truck review btw, I love watching them
I started playing Snowrunner for the first time and downloaded the F750 mod. Tows scout trailers. Has mud tire options. Literally has anything and everything you want. Straight from the beginning of the game. It's my favorite vehicle so far. I use it with an atlas crane, repair/fuel supplies and keep it around as a big wrecker. Tows big 10 slot trailers with ease.
I heard that is a cool mod and Im glad you're enjoying the game :) For me I actually dont use any mods and wont for the forseeable future. I just wanna play the game as it is ya know. I definitely do watch people with mods and browse them though. They do look really fun!
I like how the jeep wants to land on its wheels. It bounces and ramps off of rocks, but usually lands on its wheels. S+ on the power if I remember correctly. Fun for a small scout.
Yessss! Love this truck dude! I 100% agree with you and wish you could play this truck from the start but going and getting it is a fun activity and the Ford F 750 is a great reward!
Love this truck too! I was pretty jealous watching you drive around with this thing on the base game. Pretty smart how you went and grabbed it! Great Stream today as well Scruffy!
Thanks for another great truck review 😁 I remember rescuing this truck in Kola but didn't see a use for it there, thinking it would struggle with the deep snow, as opposed to the tatarin. But now I'm in Yukon and this truck has really delivered on this map with its great ground clearance, always on diff lock, power and of course the plentiful supplies of fuel and repair add-ons. I like it lot!
You’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Before they added the final engine for the F750, it was rough. It’s power was really bad, but since that engine upgrade it’s been quite the Swiss Army knife of the scout class. It’s just such a great scout
One of my favorite scouts, I used it for a decent amount of times & I am saving it for the new maps of phase 8 .... I guess I will enjoy exploring the wholeap on one run using the F750
One of mine also! I have been using it a lot on hardmode and looking forward to seeing it in action on phase 8 as well! I’m sure it will thrive there too :)
I love this scout and using it for first time at yellowrock (Maine),while followed by a loadstar i can work around very nicely. Loadstar makes some competence to this one somewhat, but this one can have minicrane+roofrack wich helps with range and also if you tip over...
This is one truck that is worth jumping ahead and grabbing even if the recovery mission can be down right miserable with a stock Chevy and the subsequent runs to grab the upgrades before returning to Michigan. However the end result is a scout truck that can handle enough hauling jobs and cargo recovery jobs that it becomes essential for compensating for the short comings of other trucks as you unlock them.
This is my No.1 scout with the tatarin following very close at 2nd place. The reason i choose this over the tatarin is because of the handling. Tatarin takes a bit longer to turn and is required to turn to the other side to set the vehicle straight. But the F750 turns very quick and most of the time doesn't need to be counter-steered to set it straight (power steering ig. If that is a real thing in snowrunner.)
I have done entire missions with the truck it is my favorite scout that I have right now I’m in the middle of getting the tatarin right now but this a really great truck
Things is, if you're gonna go to the hell hole that is Lake Kovd so you can play this truck in Michigan, you might as well drive a few more miles and pick up the 10V engine so you don't ever have to go back :P
Very Professional Review, very nicely done. This may seem a little odd but one of my favorite maps in this game is Imandra. I used the F-750 to scout the entire map. I do admit I did get it stuck once or twice but that’s why you bring “Da Horse of a Vehicle” with you to get you out of trouble. For those who don’t know the LoAF is the King of Snowrunner. Cheers!!! 🤘😬🤘
Thank you so much! Yea it’s very capable; I’ve watched a friend scout all of Urska River in one go with this vehicle basically; it’s fuel consumption and range just stunned me after seeing that.
I have never been High centered on this truck ever since I got raised the upgrade. The only high centering happens when the ground clearance is lacking
In agree they having truck tires on a scout is advantageous for sure and its not a huge downside like you said, but I wanted to cover all bases as well.
Considering how important tires are for getting through mud and snow, having those UOD 2 tires is the biggest upside the f750 and Loadstar have over most other scouts. Only Tatarin, Yar, Marshal and Gor have access to tires with better mud rating.
Possibly has one of the funnier derp horns in the game and was my go to scout for quite a while too. The thing is a beast … if you have its engine upgrade otherwise its trash
I gotta smash the horn on this thing and check that out. Yep that new engine really makes this thing awesome. I’m so glad they added it to the game bro
It’s a great truck but I don’t think it belongs in the scout category. When you compare this to the kodiak it’s interesting. As always Nathan a great upload, thank you!
I recently got this truck and was excited about finally getting to use it especially after the reviews, it’s utility potential and the process involved to get it! However after using it to bring back the cargo of oil from the big cliff on Drummond Island for the Cousin Cletus mission, I have my doubts about it. It struggled to get itself off the cliff and get back to the main road. It also had trouble driving into the area to drop off the cargo. Currently it has the 6V 5,0 engine and Offroad gearbox. Any suggestions, or is it not that good without the 10V engine?
So in the video, I mentioned this issue actually. Without the Het/10V 6,6 this truck is going to struggle to pull anything other than its own weight. I think once you have that engine, its going to be a huge change in your perspective on it. Being that you already have the truck, you must've been to Kola, so you are gonna have to go get its engine to see its real potential.
