Gta Definitive Trilogy would like to have a word (Yeah it was a different developer, but I have to believe Rockstar sent their own testers to test the game...)
"Jason & Lucia might not even rob this store, they'll probably rob a different one" I can see Rockstar do that for the final game, considering the first trailer is done to show more of Lenoida instead of the game's story.
The gang isn't riding in New Austin in the rdr2 trailer btw, the heartlands near Valentine was originally going to have brown grass like in the trailer which is where they're at in the trailer
Rockstar games usually look as good or better than the trailers but there's definitely some tricks they do to make it look better. Like in GTA V's trailers, positioning the sun in ways that can never happen naturally in game to make the lighting look better, GTA V's 1st trailer using mocap making the NPCs look like they interact with each other when passing by but that never happens in game etc
This time npcs are gonna be much much much better. They have filed a patent for better npc animations. I saw a game developer describing this new tech. As she described gta 6 npcs are gonna be groundbreaking.
@CaptainGlack Definitely was, the trailers basically depicted organic life going on around you-people hammering down for sale signs in front of their house, people hiking together on Mt. Chiliad, people passing by and saying hello etc. I'll also point out, V was basically marketed as this 'Heat esque Heist simulator,' where you build some awesome crew of guys who have a range of different skills and contributions-doing at least a dozen or so heists with the ability to do 'smaller' crimes on your own, i.e. robbing a bank. I'll also point out, all the artwork for the game was showcasing firearms that would never be in the game . . lots and lots of really cool looking (and accurate to real design) firearms that we totally didn't get, instead we got a bunch of horrendously designed and fictionally named weapons that couldn't pack less of a punch if they were BB guns, they were sooooooo bad. There's a ton of other problems with it too and reasons why it's easily the worst 3D-GTA.
Even in the GTA5 trailer, NPC interactivity was slightly exaggerated - such as female joggers eyeing a male jogger, which is something we've never encountered in the final game. So I do expect the NPC interactivity in the GTA6 trailer is at least slightly exaggerated too for marketing purposes.
Yeah I’ve seen female joggers eye off other people who cares tho.. might be slightly over exaggerated but it’ll be good they spent a lot of time on this game and I’m glad. Kids wanted this game to be released in 2018 and I’m so glad they didn’t rush it because of some annoying fans.
@@DIRTYPLACCY True but why do you pretend like fans don’t have the right to get mad? Yes R* was working with RDR2 but I can assume they’re able to make both games so if so then fans do have the right to get mad
In GTA 5's first trailer, you can see that they were using slices of the map in certain parts, as you could see where the map abruptly cuts off in the back, probably for performance reasons.
For most of 2011 the game was running at on average 15fps on the Xbox 360 and almost a slideshow on the PS3 😂. Later in development they managed to optimise well.

I'd go even further and suppose that they barely showed anything at all, the bits of videos from snapmatic, tv news or other media are just a part of ingame internet and television. I think they will expand on exploring the media even more. When i was little, i didn't pay a lot of attention to gta4 programs and websites but now, reading and watching it is funny and entertaining.
We need to remember that the 1st GTA V trailer was released a lot early comparing to what Rockstar had prepared because of some leaks or something like that so its explained why its way better in the game than in the trailer because rockstar had less Time to prepare it (the trailer released 2 years before the game instead of 1)
Rockstar is the only developer that actually doesn’t disappoint when comparing trailers to actual gameplay. Red dead 2 looked exactly the same in game as it did in the trailer and on a high tier PC it looks even better.
@@Dan1el7493 I'd say some of the lighting looked better but that may only be because they can cheat and position the sun in ways that never naturally occur in game so the lighting looks better.
I think my favourite bit of speculation was Grove Street and CJ having a major role in GTA 5 because you can see the iconic location and an easter egg of the vaguely similar NPCs on bikes. The rumors for Rockstar games are always more elaborate than what is seen in game that even realistic expectations could be far off, I love it.
I feel like they will reuse a lot of vehicles they have been pumping into GTA Online. These DLC vehicles were made while GTA VI was well into development, could have been intended for both from the beginning. I'm sure there will be minor tweaks and more detail added, but I just have a feeling a ton of cars will return.
@@dudemp4 Makes sense, I really wouldn't even call it lazy. They put a lot of work in to those models would be a shame for them to just die with GTA V online
@@TheSavageFactualGTA 5 is over 10 years old. Their car models literally look out of date. That's why. Yeah I want the old cars to stay, but we definitely need new ones.
One of your last lines about the characters, cars and clothes, I’m really taking to heart. As in the GTA5 online trailer there was a sports jersey (I’m sure) that I really wanted and was set on wearing it when online came out. Even to this day it was never actually added into the game 😂
I would like to add that GTA VI has been already in development since 2014, which means that the game had 9 years of development before the trailer was released. That is not the case for GTA V which started development in 2008 meaning that it was kind of rushed and that can be seen in the trailer with the character models changing and some elements added or edited. So based on that I believe that, unlike GTA V, GTA VI will have much fewer changes from the trailer.
while it technically started development in 2014, there weren't many people working on it it was mainly about how the story and stuff should go, all development resources went to rdr2 and gta online during 2014-2018, in 2019 they first started scouting Miami so we can assume they *actually* started working on the game in 2019.
"No gameplay no game" Almost every dev/publisher will cherry pick the best and most cinematic parts of a game to show off. Issue is, while these moments occur or are possible, they are rarely indicative of the overall game, half of it, or even a significant portion of it. Obviously they can't show the entirety of a 40 hour game, but it's the kind of thing that got No Man's Sky in (and out of) legal trouble. "Hey, yeah this has a 1 in 2,023,235,105 chance of happening, which means we can use it". It's kinda silly for people to get hyped at cinematic trailers for this reason, because if you are excited for a 60 hour experience over a 2 minute trailer, you often will be disappointed in a good portion of the remaining 59 hours and 58 minutes. Wait until actual, minimally edited gameplay is shown by somebody OUTSIDE of the production staff (as games often use artificial set-pieces even in gameplay trailers, see Rainbow Six Siege or The Day Before)
You misunderstand the meaning of the trailers, the one from rainbow six is a clear example of ubisoft being ubisoft, making totally new graphics and pumping textures and lights just to a portion of "gameplay", thats actually fooling customers, while the gta 6 trailer 1, just like the ones from rdr2 and gta5, 4, are teasers , dont show gameplay( neither show cgi stuff) but shots of the in game world by making it more appealing by changing light source and doing sepcific animations just to make the video more flowing, because its purpose is to give a small taste of what the game is gonna be. As of now every gameplay trailer from rockstar was never misleading, then ofc there will always be the one genius who points out the smallest insignificant missing detail.
You forgot that rockstars trailers dont look better than the game. Only in a couple areas you can say they look e better but for the most part it’s obvious that rockstar literally just makes a trailer from the games current state the continues to improve upon till launch
I feel like the shot of the “vice city” sign, or even the sign itself wont be in-game. It doesn’t really make sense for Miami to have their own Hollywood sign.
I wished you mentioned this in the video but in GTA V trailers, you see there was clearly visible use of Global Illumination. Implementing this in a video game of 2013 would be way so much ahead of its time. This is what contributes the most to make the recent Forza Horizon look so realistic. But it was completely absent in the final game. It feels like a huge graphical downgrade but I think it was done for the limitations of hardwares back then.
Even comparing GTA V’s trailer to it’s original release version on the PS3/360, it’s clear that the trailers were actually LESS graphically impressive, and it’s even more evident for Red Dead 2
Rockstar has never lied in a trailer once. The only cause of this happening is certain animations would be changed. CJ’s walk that Ryder and some of the pedestrians and ballas have was supposed to be CJ’s original walk and they changed it after their first trailer. Niko’s hairstyle, Michael’s look, Franklin’s look, small things like that. As far as gameplay goes they never lied.
@@Dan1el7493maybe because even nerds wouldnt care about a guy selling his house and people walking on a mountain in a 2013 game so they scrapped useless stuff to focus on main features. He wasn't lying about the vehicles spotted in trailers because tbe crown Vic cop car were in the first trailer then they switched it to an updated crown Vic specifically made for GTA 5 however for whatever reason the crown vic was never really used and they made it to where the LPSD used the Ford Taurus interceptor even at the time of release the Ford Taurus police car hasn't hit the streets of real world cities yet.
This is what I've been saying, I see so many Streamers talk about how revolutionary the game is because they simply saw an npc throw an object at another npc and catch it. It's likely not going to be in the game as it's purely for show. Rockstar has done it for years. It's not bad, but don't set unnecessary standards for this game. Edit: I would still like to see stuff like that happen though but I'm not expecting it.
red d*ad redemption 2 was released 6 years ago, that game is still one of the best looking open world games you can play, there's always something that's happening that keeps you immersed, you'll be walking along or riding your horse and stumble across some stranger that needs you to find her keys for her horse, and when you compare it to red d*ad redemption 1, its incredibly different and fresh, If they can pull the same amount of polish off with GTA6 at minimum, I'll be more than happy.

Every game studio lies in trailers. When i say lie, i mean they exaggerate things like NPC density. Here’s how the Gta trailer would have been done in the beach scene for example. They would have de-loaded the entire map, only that small portion of the beach would be rendering, then they have manually spawned in NPC’s, placed them in certain positions, selected animations they wanted each one to perform, added assets and framed the scene perfectly, and then run that in engine to get the shot. If they moved the camera around nothing would be there. In conclusion, when walking down the beach on launch day, this is not how dense the beach will be. Does this count as lying? Technically yes, but technically all of those NPCs and animations exist in the game but the scene has essentially been faked to give the illusion that the beach will be like this
Of course Rockstar is doing the same. Just watch the GTA5 trailer again. There are so many scenes that make the world look alive. But nothing of that made it to the game. In the game you don't see families hiking, you do not see people hamering "to sell" signs into the ground. etc@@RuziNuk3
@@RuziNuk3They did the same with GTA V's first trailer. Graphic-wise the game will most likely look even better than the trailer, but I don't think the beach will be THAT dense in actual gameplay. Rockstar might not lie when it comes to looks, but they often show NPC's playing unique animations that you never see in the actual game.
2:50 This is not New Austin, this is Heartlands, just beta version of it with not green grass, they were going for that more classic dusty look originally. You can see that it's heartlands by these two big rocks
Only argument I have is just because a video is made “in-engine” doesn’t mean you’ll get the same graphics and performances. Remember, it’s a pre-rendered, staged cutscene….which ALWAYS have higher framerates and better than performance than real time GAMING. The hardware (and game engine itself) doesn’t have to work nearly as hard to display a high res, high frame rate cutscene be cause it’s already been processed and rendered. It’s just showing it. That’s all. Compared to having to do all the processing and calculating and displaying in real time? Not even close. That’s like saying a Honda civic can do 200 mph because it’s the same company that makes the NSX. Its “in-Honda”
We know we'll get better graphics. Thats what happened to Gta 5 and Red dead redemption 2.1st trailer always look awful compared to the final product, huge amount of side by side comparison if you want to check out
That’s… not how in engine cutscenes work? What you’re referring to is a PRE-RENDERED CUTSCENE, not an In-Engine Cutscene. A pre-rendered cutscene is one where you render the scene at maximum graphics and display it as a video to the player, the game engine does no work during gameplay to produce or affect pre-rendered scenes as it’s just pulling an mp4 file from the game files. Rockstar (alongside most game devs these days) don’t use pre-rendered cutscenes. They use In-Engine cutscenes. When these play, the engine still has to work at full throttle to produce the look, just because the camera is no longer controlled by the player doesn’t mean the engine has it any easier. It still has to calculate lighting and shadow for every single frame. What in-engine cutscenes do is essentially just add a railed camera and enable more advanced body movement animations for the animation teams to use. They can turn up the facial detail to max in an engine cutscene, which would have eaten fps if turned on during gameplay. These are in-engine cutscenes using gta-6’s engine, which would give the animators more leeway in terms of how expressive their characters can be with their animations, but at the end of the day, the gameplay would almost certainly look close to if not as good as the trailer. Only with less animation detail
The car stuff is interesting. We saw in the trailer 4 variations of the new stanier (police, civilian, donk, and taxi) and that looked identically detailed as the real life crown Vic. Hopefully that stays. Whereas the GTA5 vehicles like you pointed out the Ferrari California is unchanged so maybe they’ll get a refresh to match the detail of the other vehicles or like you said, are placeholders to an entirely different model.
I don’t doubt this, but I still have this little feeling that since GTA 6 is the THE most anticipated game, things like, for instance the store robbery in T1, would stay in the game, or at least stay coherent to the story. I feel like they know the amount of eyes & analysis that are going on, way more than previous games, would make it harder & with a worse outcome to change up anything too drastically from the trailer. They know people are gonna be looking for exactly the things that happen in the trailer, which could be why its taking so long for T2. Making all the tweaks before the trailer instead of after, & having something completely different, because since its GTA 6, the backlash of i guess “ falsely advertised “ things would be pretty immense, & they know they HAVE to get this game right.
The social media videos are not pre-rendered in the conventional sense, since they are also made in-game like any other cutscene. I understand what you’re saying though, as if there is a tiktok style app all of them will just be video clips.
I'm surprised no one ever mentions this in any video, but also the cops seen at 3:53 are taken from GTA 4 (in the trailer you can see their run animation and it's the exact same)
I don’t think the prison scene in the GTA 6 trailer is necessarily in reverse. I could be wrong but I think the first mission could be a tutorial prison break sequence to kick off the story with a bang.
Why will it be a prison break when Lucia has an ankle monitor? What you said obviously ain't true because not confirmed ofc but would make sense, But knowing there is an ankle monitor, This thing no longer makes sense to be said after the artwork unless if someone didn't pay attention to the artwork
i don't think it is gonna be a prison break, why would she have an ankle monitor? my theory is that she's gonna be put in jail for a small crime and then be released and somehow meet jason or something (or maybe she has already met jason we dont know)
Someone who remembers the mission in Vice city where you go up inside the elevator on a pcj-600. Thinking about that sound effect from the exhaust made me laugh
Something interesting to think about isn't as much how much Rockstar changed but what they left the same. A lot of placeholder vehicles are carried over from older games and then replaced. We saw this with the GTA 6 leaks using retextures of GTA 5 cop cars. There's a lot of vehicles that look very similar and others radically different. For example, the police cars based on the Crown Victoria and Taurus look much more like their real world counterparts than they did in 5. Entirely redone models. Which tells me they're either new models planned for release or they acquired generic high detail models of the real cars for beta vehicles with plans to replace them later, which to my knowledge isn't something we've seen before in a R* trailer before.
Rdr2’s trailer has a scene in which predators are eating an animal corpse and it has physics while they are biting. These physics were never used in the actual game.
@@limitlessboy6423animals eat corpses in game. I I played it back in 2018 and never noticed it. Started playing again last week and I was shocked when I saw the fox eating a horse I just killed. It ran away when I got close. There’s a KKK section in the game with the guys in white hooded robes too. I haven’t seen it in my gameplay, but that doesn’t mean it’s not in the game. So I’m not exactly sure what your gripe is here. What do you mean with physics?
The car speculation is already proven right in some ways. We saw the Dominator GTX and 2013 Baller in the trailer. Few weeks after, in the GTAO DLC we got the much better modeled Dominator GT and a newer Baller. Maybe R* are trying not to spoil the upcoming DLC cars.
I thought this was one of those contrarian videos, but it actually wasn't, i agree with your points and really did a good job at explaining, nice video!
one thing i pray they keep from the trailer is the physics, bros hair as he was climbing out the truck looked amazing, the 'jiggle' physics wouldn't hurt either. I'm a sucker for good physics. The main factor for buying uncharted 4 was the grappling hook's rope looked like it flowed "realistically". I think its about time R* adds realistic cloth physics.
Rockstars only competition is peoples high expectations and even then the game will be great and will make billions 😂. It’s gonna be a hit while not having everything people want.
2:49. That's not New Austin. It's New Hanover, The Heartlands, Twin Stack Pass, riding to the west. But the grass is dry like in the Blackwater Area. In the final release the area of Heartlands has pure green grass and not dry yellow grass. Sorry, you already know this. This is not a hate. I just discovered your channel today and i watch all your videos...
I just want their security to be on point and their online economy to encourage gameplay instead grinding the same missions for cash. There was so much to do in GTAO that’s just not “worth it” because it doesn’t pay well. It’s a damn game not a job.
2:50 with all due respect that is NOT new austin, it's the heartlands, new hanover in an early stage of development that had a more dustier landscape, some of the gang horses are alternated clearly showing it's an early state in development.
also it is possible to take gang members with you in free roam but you'll have to have a physical copy of the game and play the unpatched version of the game aka 1.00 thus you'll be able to do the glitch and it's already documented on UA-cam and forums
Same here. A possible ps5 pro should do the job until the best possible release on pc. I'm currently running a 4090 so this will be a massive step back but I can't wait another year
Bro yes, I mean I don't even use socials but just trying to avoid all the spoilers on UA-cam is gonna be hell. Gonna do my best to hold out as I'd love my first taste of the game to be on PC, but I dunno man
I've got a ps5 so I'll just play it on there. Obviously I'd rather experience it on my 4080 PC but I'm not waiting a year+ for it to come out on there.
Rockstar leaked that the total cost to develop GTA6 is close to $2 billion dollars. Of course it's going to look good on this engine and of course every NPC and character model is motion captured. They set aside a tremendous budget because GTA5 and it's online counterpart raked in BILLIONS when it wasn't ever planned to. Now they're making a game that will make even more money and are willing to spend the years and dollars to get it to be their best. I've been playing single player GTA since 3 and every new release is overall much better than the previous title. I'm crossing my fingers they're still like a studio that cares about their work and doesn't fill single player with microtransactions.
i really hope rockstar just edited up some something to be the trailer ... in the long run would be quite great for overall engagement and fandom (maybe some "mystic") i think
I was kinda hoping Lucia and Jason would’ve been more of a customizable characters, but then again, rockstar has never made customizable story mode characters
I was playing rdr2 last night at native 4K and the game could still drop this year with minor enhancements and still be the best looking game ever. RAGE engine is top tier
Honestly im worried about gta 6. The hype surrounding the game is so big that it has to literally be the best game ever made just to meet those expectations. I know rockstar can do it but i dont know if the fans can even be satisfied no matter how good it is. The players will rip rockstar apart for the slightest mistake or flaw in the game. I personally dont really care about gta 6 that much since i play on pc and its gonna be for console only for a while. Dont care for singleplayer games that much so wont play it until it has an online mode and im pretty occupied, distracted and satisfied with gta 5 online.
Thanks for saying this, at least I hope people realize the truth, we need to believe like 75 % whats in the trailer, at the end what matters is that the game surpasses rdr2 hype and we can enjoy even with the difference from The trailers that still are coming ❤
THANK YOU I hate how people say: gta6 will not look this good, this is fake Buddy, you never watched any rockstar trailer ever right ? I love how Rockstar games look better than trailers always
random/“incoherent” clips + a voice over is pretty standard. Naughty dog has literally swapped character and dialogue, CDPR made 40+ mins of fake gameplay. I wouldn’t call this lying
To be honest I agree with everything but I don’t blame rockstar for any of that. If ignorant fans have lofty expectations, wild imaginations & can’t take the trailers for what they are then that’s their problem 🤔 Movies do this stuff loads too. I appreciate it might be the trendy opinion to be a bit down on GTA 6 and I can see why. But I’m optimistic, even if cautiously so 🤞🏼

There were no crowds but a lot of NPCs interacting with their environment was shown but these interactions and animations didn't end up in the game.
We need to remember that the 1st GTA V trailer was released a lot early comparing to what Rockstar had prepared because of some leaks or something like that so its explained why its way better in the game than in the trailer because rockstar had less Time to prepare it (the trailer released 2 years before the game instead of 1)
just found your channel today and i’m glad i did, where has this content been my whole life
damn, if gta 6 looks this good but is still going to be improved i cant even imagine how the finished look will be like, im so excited
Overall graphics are gonna be the same or better like you said, but the colour pallete and even sun's position may be different from the final game.
Tbh gta 5 looked worse in the trailers than it did in the game. Hope 6 is the same.
Rockstar is the only developer that actually doesn’t disappoint when comparing trailers to actual gameplay. Red dead 2 looked exactly the same in game as it did in the trailer and on a high tier PC it looks even better.
Trailer 1 looks better than GTAV on ps3 and Xbox 360
@@theraiden1018yeah, cuz console limitations, CONSOLES SUCK ASS
@@theraiden1018 It doesnt, trailer felt like GTA 4/GTA 5 beta(which it was)
@@Dan1el7493 I'd say some of the lighting looked better but that may only be because they can cheat and position the sun in ways that never naturally occur in game so the lighting looks better.
The only two things that could disappoint me if they are not in the game are old gangster alike suits and the M1911
Supposedly most of the recent cars in online models are from gta 6
@@dudemp4 Makes sense, I really wouldn't even call it lazy. They put a lot of work in to those models would be a shame for them to just die with GTA V online
Hopefully they add all the vehicles except the futuristic ones
Why won’t they? It doesn’t make sense for each GTA game to use different vehicles its stupid I even wish every car from GTAV is returning cuz why not?
It's definitely very far along in development and probably playable from start to finish.
while it technically started development in 2014, there weren't many people working on it it was mainly about how the story and stuff should go, all development resources went to rdr2 and gta online during 2014-2018, in 2019 they first started scouting Miami so we can assume they *actually* started working on the game in 2019.
@@hyek2.0 the story is the biggest part of the game so if they spent 9 years on it it'll be leagues better than gta 5, maybe it could surpass gta 4

"No gameplay no game"
Almost every dev/publisher will cherry pick the best and most cinematic parts of a game to show off.
Wait until actual, minimally edited gameplay is shown by somebody OUTSIDE of the production staff (as games often use artificial set-pieces even in gameplay trailers, see Rainbow Six Siege or The Day Before)
Tbf to Siege the game does play a lot like the trailer shown at E3, just graphically it was downgraded before release
Dude no way you mentioned the day before
You misunderstand the meaning of the trailers, the one from rainbow six is a clear example of ubisoft being ubisoft, making totally new graphics and pumping textures and lights just to a portion of "gameplay", thats actually fooling customers, while the gta 6 trailer 1, just like the ones from rdr2 and gta5, 4, are teasers , dont show gameplay( neither show cgi stuff) but shots of the in game world by making it more appealing by changing light source and doing sepcific animations just to make the video more flowing, because its purpose is to give a small taste of what the game is gonna be.
Cough…. Cyberpunk…..cough cough!!!!
that dog in the background is stressing me out more than it should
Weak
I feel like the shot of the “vice city” sign, or even the sign itself wont be in-game. It doesn’t really make sense for Miami to have their own Hollywood sign.
it defo will, this is a fictional miami, they can do whatever they want
Not in Gameplay, but some NPCs from the GTA 5 trailer were missing, like the one selling his House
Only excuse could be ps3/360 fps
@@Dan1el7493maybe because even nerds wouldnt care about a guy selling his house and people walking on a mountain in a 2013 game so they scrapped useless stuff to focus on main features. It still is a letdown in some aspects from gta 4 tho , maybe cause of gameplay variety which was absent in previous games
He wasn't lying about the vehicles spotted in trailers because tbe crown Vic cop car were in the first trailer then they switched it to an updated crown Vic specifically made for GTA 5 however for whatever reason the crown vic was never really used and they made it to where the LPSD used the Ford Taurus interceptor even at the time of release the Ford Taurus police car hasn't hit the streets of real world cities yet.
yes they have and it’s okay.. stop defending a company that does not care about you get a grip
@@bagchaser326 Where’s the proof lmao.
That "New Austin" scene from the RDR2 trailer isn't New Austin, but rather an earlier, less green version of the Heartlands
I still remember when the reveal for GTA V dropped so many people thought you were gonna have to gas up cars when it came out
red d*ad redemption 2 was released 6 years ago, that game is still one of the best looking open world games you can play, there's always something that's happening that keeps you immersed, you'll be walking along or riding your horse and stumble across some stranger that needs you to find her keys for her horse, and when you compare it to red d*ad redemption 1, its incredibly different and fresh, If they can pull the same amount of polish off with GTA6 at minimum, I'll be more than happy.
Even something as simple as small animals running across roads adds so much to immersion.
@@BlackSun6393exactly man. I ride a motorcycle through rural areas in real life and random ass animals going across the road is a very common thing I see. Would be awesome to see it in game and have a funny reaction from your character if you crash into them.

At 0:22 on the Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 video, if you zoom in at 4K, in the far distance you can see NPCs that have no textures and are floating over the water, it looks so creepy.
The reverse order trailer theory makes no sense. She literally starts the game with an ankle monitor you can see in the poster of the game...
The poster is likely set after she leaves prison at the very beginning of the game. I imagine VI has a prologue mission like GTA V and to an extent RDR2.
You’ll rob a store, get arrested, and talk to the “do you know why you’re here” woman before being released on parole(?), which is where you’ll enter free roam with the ankle monitor.

Technically yes, but technically all of those NPCs and animations exist in the game but the scene has essentially been faked to give the illusion that the beach will be like this
Not Rockstar.
Of course Rockstar is doing the same. Just watch the GTA5 trailer again. There are so many scenes that make the world look alive. But nothing of that made it to the game. In the game you don't see families hiking, you do not see people hamering "to sell" signs into the ground. etc@@RuziNuk3
I really hope the beach is like that. Pretty sure this generation of consoles can handle it, and denser crowds and traffic is something GTA needs
If it was possible on rdr2 for ps4, why couldn't gta vi looks like this on ps5?@@JakvsMetalheads999
0:30 I still haven't seen an NPC actually do this in the game where they're putting a sign in front of their houses... Rockstar really did lie to me.
Yeah seriously tho tons of their "in engine" trailers are completely scripted with higher quality or rare animations that never appear in game
I still don't think The Prsion is at the End of the Story. Due to Her hair having alot of colour in Prison but grey outside later on in the Trailer
It’s not that she’ll be in prison at the end of the story, that’s not what I mean.
The theory goes that the trailer is in reverse order.

good video, really level headed. surprised the algorithm isn't showing this to MrBossFTW viewers, then again, it showed it to me
I can hear a goddamned dog barking on the background and i cant wrap my head around it
The car stuff is interesting.
For a small creator this is very well made
Well... the GTA VI trailer contains both in-game and pre-rendered footage. Essentially, all the social media videos are pre-rendered.
The social media videos are not pre-rendered in the conventional sense, since they are also made in-game like any other cutscene. I understand what you’re saying though, as if there is a tiktok style app all of them will just be video clips.
@@CaptainGlackif we get tik tok in GTA 6 imma refund the game
great job on the video!
I'm surprised no one ever mentions this in any video, but also the cops seen at 3:53 are taken from GTA 4 (in the trailer you can see their run animation and it's the exact same)
i would gladly play gta 6 at a solid 30 FPS is it looks ANYTHING like the trailer. the water and the lights in the nightclub are so gorgeous

In my experience, their games always look better than the trailer

I thought this was one of those contrarian videos, but it actually wasn't, i agree with your points and really did a good job at explaining, nice video!
I wonder if the prologue of GTA VI will be the heist where Lucia gets caught and the first 'modern day' catch up will be her coming out on Parole
Man I remember watching the GTA V trailers religiously days before release
For vehicles, I'm thinking maybe they'll have different model years of the same car. That'd be insane.
one thing i pray they keep from the trailer is the physics, bros hair as he was climbing out the truck looked amazing, the 'jiggle' physics wouldn't hurt either. I'm a sucker for good physics. The main factor for buying uncharted 4 was the grappling hook's rope looked like it flowed "realistically". I think its about time R* adds realistic cloth physics.
In the gtaIV you see Niko jumping from a flaming helicopter on top of a building.
Rockstars only competition is peoples high expectations and even then the game will be great and will make billions 😂. It’s gonna be a hit while not having everything people want.
The game still looks good from what we have seen so far
The trailer shows what they can guarantee in their title while they add on in development cycle
Waiting for the PC release and avoiding spoilers in the form of reels is going to be a horrible time.
I’m afraid that might be impossible my friend
I would literally buy a console just for the game then when it releases on pc I would sell it
Rockstar has really embraced the new rendering technology made available in last decade.
The fire in gta 4 was just perfect ❤
i really hope rockstar just edited up some something to be the trailer ... in the long run would be quite great for overall engagement and fandom (maybe some "mystic") i think
i wonder if they will link the online modes, like you'll do a mission where you have to leave and start a new life
2:52 that's not New Austin; it's too close to the mountain ranges. that's New Hanover.
I just entered the video, i paused it to comment.
I hope this proves me wrong and ende with something good
I was kinda hoping Lucia and Jason would’ve been more of a customizable characters, but then again, rockstar has never made customizable story mode characters
This is what i like about Rockstar, they literally show the real gameplay and something that are in davelopment
I was playing rdr2 last night at native 4K and the game could still drop this year with minor enhancements and still be the best looking game ever. RAGE engine is top tier
great vid!! it was a nice watch
A first trailer just gives you the vibes, don't take anything at face value
Honestly im worried about gta 6. The hype surrounding the game is so big that it has to literally be the best game ever made just to meet those expectations. I know rockstar can do it but i dont know if the fans can even be satisfied no matter how good it is. The players will rip rockstar apart for the slightest mistake or flaw in the game. I personally dont really care about gta 6 that much since i play on pc and its gonna be for console only for a while. Dont care for singleplayer games that much so wont play it until it has an online mode and im pretty occupied, distracted and satisfied with gta 5 online.
rdr2 is by far the best game to show very nice graphics in trailers and in release...yet
I will bet almost everything in the trailer will be in gta 6
They lie about extra NPCs and Animations
Thanks for saying this, at least I hope people realize the truth, we need to believe like 75 % whats in the trailer, at the end what matters is that the game surpasses rdr2 hype and we can enjoy even with the difference from
The trailers that still are coming ❤

I hate how people say: gta6 will not look this good, this is fake
Buddy, you never watched any rockstar trailer ever right ? I love how Rockstar games look better than trailers always
random/“incoherent” clips + a voice over is pretty standard. Naughty dog has literally swapped character and dialogue, CDPR made 40+ mins of fake gameplay. I wouldn’t call this lying
God this is what I've been telling people countless times over the years and getting downvoted to hell for it, I should have made my own essay lol
Very grateful for this video, Watched it all
story wise, dataminers who examined the leaks have found that the game BEGINS with Lucia at a prison near Tampa, so it’s probably not the reverse

Rockstar almost perfected underpromising but overdelivering on the game they released (Except for the defective edition trilogy and rdr1 port)
