I love this little truck, I always keep it in my fleet, it’s a great little refuel/supplies rig. Also the 90s model Chevy trucks are just so iconic, once you lift it and put bigger tires it becomes one of the best looking scouts in the game

To me it feels like High range offers better difflock than on Auto. Trucks with always on difflock just plow trough in high gear and get stuck in auto. No matter the gearbox. I need my High and Low range. Auto is just for speed for me.

I didn't know that about the wooden planks. Another Nate gem. Thanks. Oh, and what's the point of the lift on the 5070? The only thing I can tell is it makes it even more tippy. I never use it. It's good to pick up though, for the money.

What are those tires on the Paystar?

Don is full of surprise pitfalls where the dirt is suddenly 3 feet of mud on one side of the road, or water that is much deeper than it looks. It feels like it really is designed for stable trucks like the tatra line that dont suddenly tip before you know whats even happening. Most of the DLC seem like the trucks are just added to the map randomly, but Don really feels to me like they were designed to complement the map. Not to mention fact the fact you are rebuilding the tatra factory lol

The 310e is generally a good truck, but in all my playtroughs it ended up just being a fuel carrier due the lack of mud tires. As long as it sticks to somewhat safe areas, it is a great hauler. Especially because of its fuel economy.

I'm enjoying the little easter eggs in this map. So far I've found 4 animated people, and a black cat. I'm sure there are more. (aside from the "lake monster" mission)

Day 1 player and my fleet is currently around 170 vehicles. I think the Cat 680/681 are easily the best US trucks for the money, by far. I have at least 10 of them, mostly for low saddle and fuel. The dead axle def adds stability on tarmac when down, and can act like a ramp for the rear wheels off-road (when up). About the only other truck I like as much is the much more expensive HX 520 (~2x the price). I probably use those trucks (and the Twinsteer) more than all other US trucks, combined.👍

I think driving the trucks with a saddle rather then the heavy gas attachment would give a more accurate performance review as most players wont drive around with the gas attachment most times. just mo good video though.

are there any trucks in snowrunner you've driven in irl?

I know I'm a year late in watching this responding, I would totally do a randomizer run for trucks and upgrades but not the exp. I think the exp would make things a bit rough for purchasing things that require the higher levels. The upgrade randomizer for sure, trucks as long as it's balanced like you said, in regards to not getting stupid overpowered trucks early. I have found it boring to always use the overpowered trucks so I tend to go middle of the road or weaker trucks myself. Then I will pull out the big boys only if I get in such a bind I have no way to recover without just sending the trucks back to the garage.

hey nate did you see the frame flex and suspension mod? Seems to bring back some of the offroading charm of mudrunner

im on hard mode and this map i use so many repair points its crazy this rocks :)) keeep up the big work LOVE!

I don't have this dlc yet i am a snail i work slower and sometimes take time away lol but i do want this one 👍 i like the reality maps of wild fire damage and hardships kudos to saber i like all the catastrophe dlcs they bring out the best energy in me wanting to dig in. Throat singing is the art of making music without word's mostly I think it's just for like grunts or noises with your literal throat but then again I'm not gonna say that breathing with it and your whole body will start to go with the rhythm

I think the music is great for it especially if its supposed to be in some place like India or in that area then yeah the music is great lol

I’ve had to rescue so many trucks on this map! I have the long chassis WWS with the heavy crane on it doing wonders with rescues.

Is the Shortest Distance task unlocked after completing another task? I've just started this map.. currently working on the PLAD rescue, and I don't have that task at all. I've unlocked all the towers, and scouted the whole map.

There is another amazing tip I've noticed while watching you play as you go to the map then global map and use the shortcut button to go to the garage so quickly. 3 buttons is faster that scrolling to the garage or selecting it manually on the map.

It's kind of fun seeing the sound quality go up every update, lol.

I like the new map. My favorite activity is exploring new maps, which is a bit lacking with only one map. However, I love the atmosphere of the soviet maps like this one, and hauling the big trailers in/out of the mine pits has been fun. The animated people on this map was a nice surprise.

I just got Snowrunner a few weeks ago on PS5, I struggled at first but I'm getting the hang of it, just finished Michigan in around 70 hours 😅 Starting to find a lot of resources to help, including this channel, which is helping me understand how the trucks work and how tires work etc. I love driving sims in general but I've really fallen in love with this game, hopefully I'll find plenty of good pointers while digging through this channel. 😊

But PEOPLE "EXPEDITIONS A MUDRUNNER GAME IS AN AMAZING GAME "and if any 1 that reads this ain't bought it because of people on internet saying it's not good..that's there opinion and shouldn't keep others from trying it LIKE IT KEEP ME FROM BYEING IT!!! Personally, I think W990 is better than P512. It's very capable off-road despite only using RWD, just like P512 is. The more powerful engine and lower weight, combined with offroad gearbox manage to propel it on High gear through many obstacles, including many puddles of mud, where P512 could struggle. When it digs itself in, it falls short of P512. I have to agree with that. But a lot higher fuel capacity makes it more dependent in the long run. Additional axle... well, I don't use it much. However, as the W990 tires have low asphalt rating, lowering it may calm the truck down in the fast curves. I often choose W990 over russian trucks as I find it more stable, generally speaking. So unless I have to go through deep mud while hauling heavy load, it's my go-to workhorse. White WS is not my type of truck. It's stable, yes. But I feel like the engine holds it back a big time. With ~200k torque it would be a great choice. And the HX520 seems to me to be just that, White WS with better engine but slightly worse collision. But I wouldn't throw any of them into a deep water or mud so I don't feel like it matters much TBH.

Yo, watching the ‘stage complete’ where there was an actual physical impact from your cargo delivery was fantastic. Thats a specific complaint that I’ve seen from folks in prior seasons, when nothing happens after you make deliveries, and Saber seems to have listened and put some life back into the game world. It’s a little thing, but props to them. This is a solid season.
