Hey Nate, dont know if anyone has ever stumbled on the idling shut off feature on some trucks if not all, (havent tested all of them) after idling for about 4 mins with no movement on the controller the trucks cut the engine off kind of like the real trucks of today, never seen it mentioned anywhere honestly.

I think it'd be a pretty simple mod to level-lock the JATS, just edit the xml, easy-peasy.

I Pulled it with the DAN and raised its Suspension. It reduced the times i Needed to winch a lot. I even Took the Detour around the blockage cause i hadnt cleart it at the time

it bugs me at the disrespect and underratedness of this truck and his brother! of course Russia has better trucks than America, we have MUCH BETTER ROADWAYS...they probably spent way more money and took much more time to develop their trucks because of their shitty country and always driving on horrific road systems! 😂

Some real funny stats on the OF conversation...less than 1% ever make over 100k, and around only 3-5% of that make anything close to 7 figures. Around 93-94% make an overwhelming average of $184 a MONTH! 😂😂 So even men being as h*rny dogs as they are...they're not buying the OF nonsense 🤣 And even most men would never date a "c"ornstar or OF 'model over numerous studies, comments and even the several I've just talked to if that subject comes up. So I got to a spot where the fleet star. I personally think the fleet star is one of the best trucks in the whole game. And then they came out with that tire pack and made that truck way better.

On cranes, the WWS actually has a unique feature with the medium crane equipped. The legs will deploy wider than on other trucks, granting extra stability and leverage. In addition to all the reasons it is such a superior truck already, the WWS is quite heavy for its size and configuration, making it both stronger and more stable than probably any other US crane truck in its size. I found that the International HX that comes with the year 1 pass positions the medium crane quite poorly because one of the drive axles is right under a support leg, causing the tire to hit the leg, greatly limiting suspension travel on an already very stiff truck.

I mean, as a mod truck user, the C500 keeps up rather well for a vanilla truck...even hauling 2x weight cargo and thicker mud. My only gripes about it is the tires are too small for a C500, it's stability is just stupid OP to hell and the gearing is ridiculous fast; shifts like a race car than a rig and that's dumb. Then just very lackluster customization options... Other than that, it's definitely in my fleet from now on. But definitely not too OP for taymyr though. It hella struggles in the mud. Few areas in AL it doesn't like going either. Lol

Dont get much better than watching nate play snowrunner with my 2 week old firstborn son sleeping on my chest. Fell behind with your videos before his birth due to my wife having complications but now God has blessed me with a child and kept my wife alive. Everyone is happy and healthy now and I can start to relax. Cheers nate, and keep up the good work

The problem with the rear axles is one that will never be solved. The rear axles have no diagonal articulation. Fixing this takes time and the developers don't seem to have the time. You can see that with the KW963, which has the same problem. But the funny thing is that the Western Star 6900TS has the same suspension system and it works great.

After using the c500 more over the last week. It’s one of my favorite trucks. Looks good, sounds good, but clearance isn’t ideal but so far I’ve been able to drive around that. Definitely feeling like the heavy duty class is my favorite in game now

After doing a few missions with this, I agree with everything you said. Its lack of power is very noticeable, I had real trouble pulling a loaded Futon-M (?) trailer up a snowy hill. What are those trailers anway, how are they different from the normal medium/short logging trailers?

Very lucky on that reconnect... knowing my luck, it would've connected to the pole instead.

This was the first truck I used for this. Never again lol... it catches trees with its sides and because most of the trees in SR don't break, it's a pain.

Drove both today. In a few words: impressed by the C500, disappointed by the T880. I think of the C500 as an improved Paystar 5070, without all the handicaps the devs put on the International. It has 1 inch larger OHD wheels, more power, a snorkel, a roof rack with a bigger tank... dream stuff!

9:37 you listed the T880's Wanderer torque here, instead of the 192k from the Gb-8V 2700T.

i used the p16 up to mid s2, yes its underpowered but if you stay near trees itll still winch anything anywhere

When it comes to medium logs do you prefer to do it one load at a time, or pull the trailer with you do speed thing up?

I've just been driving my trucks through the water. Although the current is strong, the ground underneath is rock, so it's fun driving trucks through water as high as the window.

I have to say, I really am emptying the c500. I’ll be completely honest, I enjoy it more than the Mack m917. Maybe I’m crazy, but I’m finding it pulls semi trailers just about as good as the Mack, has much better fuel economy, and with the ohd 1’s is just an amazing and fun truck to use. It’s not crazy op or anything but it’s more than capable, specially for its class. DLC worth the purchase just for the c500.

I've been playing with these new Kenny's all weekend on the Austria maps,. I LOVE THEM. They replaced two kind-of OP trucks I was using, and both have excelled well. If you take the T880's limitations into mind in your routes, and make sure you don't bury it by going low and slow and watching like Nathan said, you'll be impressed by how easy it'll get you places. The C500 is the exact truck I've always wanted in Snowrunner - it's perfect! You can do what feels like anything with it, just watch for your nose, really. I'm so glad this DLC was released, it's made me better at this game!

The new DLC trucks are getting into ranges of silly overpowered, I was trying that AAC scout recently after coming back after a long break and I cannot tip the thing over at all, it's just glued to the ground. I spent my first 80 hours with snowrunner without any DLC and remember doing some very hard (and rewarding) missions with the Voron D which is a great truck but kinda tippy.

I love this truck. My main. Cant wait to get to russia in hardmode, this will be my first buy in hardmode

Why do both of these trucks sound like theyre idling when youre clearly hitting the gas?

Also, stiff suspensions are the worst, compare the long nose kolob with these "newer better trucks"

Impressive stability on the C500 😮 I'm sorry if you said so in the video, but did you test the T880 with the weaker engine ? Might be better. I mean it might not spin and dig into terrain so quick

I noticed on the T880, specifically with the long bed, that it gets a second hitch at the end of it, which facilitates full trailer compatibility and is a nice touch. On the other hand, loading it with cargo puts the weight distribution far back and is enough to lift weight off the front axle, which is alarming. I only had 3x consumables on it and noticed when packing the cargo that that was enough to see-saw the whole truck.

1:10:58 yeah absolutely, I learned the hard way. I used a my fleet star with the heavy crane on it. That took me forever to get up the hill and around those rocks

They could've added the C500 with the sheet metal butterfly hood, with the wide grill, not a tapered fiberglass hood. LAME, saved me some money though

I’m supper excited about the C500. But it’s a real bummer about the lack of frame flex. It not realistic at all, and it looks like an arcade truck in a a sim game. Almost every other truck has it. Really gets rid of the immersion factor. Other than that, I love it

These trucks really look nice. sad they are not the part of season pass. anyway, I do like heavy duties in the game, so might consider buying it for C500
