Can any of you imagine the absolutley incredible strength required to twist the tree and bend it down between the trees beside it in the opening scene of this video..? I've seen tree structures and tree branch twists here in Iowa (yes theyre here too and Ive had experiences going back to the mid 70's), but never a twist of a trunk that large...
Fred, you crack me up! Your zealousness for Alaska is incredible! No disrespect whatsoever intended. Alaska is a magnificent place that wonderfully displays God’s Glory! I’m just beginning to feel like the only real men live in Alaska and the rest of us are wimps! 😂😂 Just ribbing you, my friend. You are real. You are a caring, loving and respectful man. I can see that clearly. May God bless you and yours. May He lift you up in His mighty hand and guard your Heart.
Hi fred warm here in West by God Virginia where all the wemon jave one leg shorter than the other it helps when walk around the mountains i was born normal so i wear one boot with a six inch sole so i can keep up with the wemon
I have seen a couple of kush da ka on prince of Wales island. The one that i could clearly see was standing in the grass next to inlet creek on klawock lake. We were doing a sockeye prediction study for the tribe, and the kush da ka was checking our fish traps . We didn't check those traps that day. The next day i brought my 45/70 and my 10mm pistol. I had my coworker take my picture were the kush da ka was standing. The grass was a foot taller than me. I'm 5'8" . In the photo the kush da ka s waist was even with the grass. What impressed me was that the kush da ka was tall and graceful. The way it moved wasn't rushed but it covered ground quickly. Tlinget legend says that they are shape-shifters. But back in 2001 a friend and I saw one clibe a tree in order to get away from us. Back then we new it big , but we didn't have anything to compare it to except 100 foot tall trees. So when my coworker and i went to to the last place we had seen it , i looked up . There were several broken branches in the tree were it disappeared. I was surprised by how fast it could climb , for being so big. If you see a kush da ka, go to were you last seen itand look up.
Having a HM walk out in front of you, seems to me these creatures are intelligent enough to see if it's going to be fight or flight. ohhhh too creepy. Thank you Fred and thank you Todd and Alicia.
That was another another great encounter, what is up with looking at them on binoculars like it new what it was.no matter what who would want to see any more
Great Read, Fred! Todd, I understand the "not wanting to go back" I have seen them over 30 times in AK, and it flat ruined me, and my love for the outdoors and hunting, read my encounter #135.
Exactly what I thought, Fred... It strolled out on the beach to see if he'd take a shot! If so, the clan/tribe/group/squallop of hairy bassturds would attack the shooter or tear off away from the couple! Great stuff as always bro!!!💪😎👍
Good one, Fred. If I saw a 12 foot Chewbacca looking thing with loooong arms, I'd assume it could throw a rock 200 mph with deadly accuracy. Hairy man needs no artificial firearm. That would deter me from flying over them to get a look. I'd be worried about getting a rock right up my keester.
It really sucks the way these encounters have a way of taking all the joy out of something your loved. I can’t talk you how many times I’ve planned to be in the woods for several days and ended up leaving after the first night because I was so uncomfortable. It really sucks.
Agreed. Almost like they don't want us enjoying the wilderness. I won't ever stop it's what I love. If something happens someday at least it's where I want too be
I just saw a video about beachcombing in Alaska and finding those glass balls from the Japanese fishing nets and walrus tusk , really cool stuff and I was wondering if they ever had run-ins out in the middle of nowhere. Great story!
@@subarcticalaskasasquatch The experience sounds pretty traumatizing and nobody likes thinking about bad memories especially when most people ridicule or don't believe the person, I imagine that as a result, the subject stays in the realm of the unknown and gives it that much more ability to be traumatizing to the unsuspecting. Then again, I don't know how a ten-foot-tall, wild, hairy, creature with ridiculous physical abilities that has our appearance but is far from like us and outclasses us in almost every way is not the stuff of nightmares, lol. I think because of people like you and others giving it a platform to be heard and not pushing your own narrative like they do on those television shows, it gives people a safe place to get it off their chest, and that can be a huge relief. But it also helps with the general acceptance of its reality by the sheer number of encounters and shows this creature for what it is and informs people of its behaviors. Something good will come of that too someday.
Oh wow totally unfazed by us lowly short stuff humans! Thank you to your two eyewitnesses Todd and Alisha, good thing she knows how to fly a plane as he was too freaked out for a bit. Oh yeah and I have a few of those glass Japanese float balls, one found off the shores outside of Tofino years ago. Thanks Fred for telling their story

Thanks Todd, Alisha and Fred for your experience. Although my experience was in the lower 48, and was 47 years ago, it's all the same feels. Thanks Brian, I think during a encounter, the calmer you try to be the desions that you make keep the Big Fella calm to. Just a thought.
Heck No. When he relates a story it's more than just a story. It's somebodies encounter and he finds out the important stuff after having a gruesome sighting of his own. I
Sasquatch confuse me on how they behave at times , The one that showed himself seems to me wanted them to realize what was messing with them , 12 ft tall made him realize that his gun was not big enough , 30 06 might do it , But they never would have made it to the plane , I'm 6ft and I have a 3ft step , Almost a 5ft running stride , So that sasquatch would double the step/stride NO doubt it could run 50 yards in 2 or 3 seconds
It's apparent that they no longer feel the need to avoid encounters with us, given that we've occupied almost all of the habitable land they once had. It's time to acknowledge that they need their own space where we are not allowed to enter.
Thank you for sharing Todd and Alisha’s encounter with the HM, Fred. It’s too bad that Todd no longer feels safe to pursue his beachcombing hobby, but it’s understandable. HM could definitely eff up a free lunch. It did throw that rock, so the potential for violence was there, don’t think it was the Harry and The Hendersons type at all.
