I have this keyboard. no complaints, works great under mac and linux. I like how simple it is too. I just use it to play a synth I built in Pure Data though, no DAW stuff.
Hey i use it mainly to play the piano using garage band at the moment lol. Do you have any tips on how to use the buttons on the keyboard and also how to use a sustain pedal with it? I bought one but i feel like garage band doesn’t recognize the pedal input…
Ola Gustavo! Tem chance de atualizar o link onde faz o download do codigo no video onde constroi controlador MIDI parte 3, por favor?? Seus videos estao me ajudando muito a comecar mexer com eletrônica
ok! could you just teach us more about the buttons on the left, CTRL ASSIGN, TRANSP, OCT PANIC, etc. I have a nektar se49 and still with the instructions is hard to follow
Great review! But, a question unrelated to the keyboard: what do you call the stand that goes under the desk for the controller? I've been looking for it but can't find anything.
Thanks for the video as well as all your other content on how to build arduino midi controllers. Your content is very easy to understand and your videos are nicely done. This one made me get a used GX49. I can’t find the software/scripts to integrate with Garage Band. Because I got it used and the serial number sticker is ripped, I cannot register a device and download on the Nektar page. Any idea where/how I can get that? Thanks 🤘
There are "transpose" buttons with up and down arrows on the left side of the gx49. Click the down arrow one time and it should line your key up with FL Studio

This is the Perfect review!!!!!!!! EXACTLY what i wanted for my Decision making.
just want to ask about the keypress NOISE , is it too loud?
❤ Thanks for the great video. Really helpful. Do you still use the Nektar? Thanks again.
The buttons above the play and stop etc do work for me!
Thanks for the great review. I was wondering why you chose the 49 instead of the 61 key model.
Best keyboard review ever, thank you!

What about the velocity while playing synth or recording synth. K want the synth lead volume to be equal unlike playing a grand piano
bem legal! sou iniciante, queria saber se 4 oitavas é tranquilo para tocar a duas mãos?
É tranquilo sim, mas se estás acostumado com 5 oitavas podes estranhar.
Muito bom!
The keybed sounds pretty quiet from what I can tell. What's your impression a year on?
Still liking a lot.
@@NerdMusician Cool. Thanks for the reply. Best wishes.
I cant find the carpet "ableton" in preference
thanks. which one should i go for - 49 keys or 61? do you ever miss the extra octave in the 49 keys keyboard? do you feel any constraint?
1:16 Sounds minor, but the Alesis V49 does NOT haver a power switch, which is honestly more annoying than you would expect.

Yes, it's a great keyboard.
How did you mount the keyboard to your desk like that?
I didn't, it's just a keyboard stand.
Воу, таке враження, що я почув "бібліотека" 7:03 🙂
What software you use?
Still in Brazil?
Aura? Looks like more Äura.
Foot sustain doesnt work 😓
It works on mine!
O cara é brasileiro kkkk percebi após o “biblioteca”

Is the Keys semi-weighted? Thanks.
Nope
Is this windows 11 compatible?

@@Gooselaa thanks 👍 I'm looking to buy one ..but confused between Alesis V 61 and Nektar GX61
